Celem niniejszej pracy było określenie barwy okrywy włosowej podstawowych gatunków zwierząt futerkowych. Badania wykonano na skórach surowych, za pomocą kolorymetru typu Minolta CR-200. Barwę określała jej jasność fotometryczna Y% oraz współrzędne x i y. Okazało się, że pod względem wyróżników Y%, x i y barwa była podobna średnio na czterech miejscach skóry i na boku.
The aim of the work was to determine the fur color of fur animals. The studies were performed on raw skins, using colorimeter, type Minolta CR-200. The colour was determined by its photometric brightness Y% and coordinates x and y. It was found that in respect of Y% indicators, i.e. x and y, the colour of the coat was similar as well on the side.

W artykule porównano dwa raporty Najwyższej Izby Kontroli, która przeprowadziła kontrole organów państwowych zobligowane do wykonywania nadzoru nad funkcjonowaniem ferm zwierząt. Wnioski przedstawione przez Najwyższą Izbę Kontroli wykazały, że nadzór nad funkcjonowaniem owych ferm nie jest wystarczająco skuteczny i pozostawia wiele wątpliwości co do działalności organów państwowych. W przytaczanych raportach została opisana niestabilna sytuacja polskich organów kontroli, która stawia pod znakiem zapytania nie tylko działalność wymienionych organów, ale także kondycję całej struktury administracyjnej i kontrolnej. Ponadto wnioski zawarte w raportach wykazały, że podmioty uzyskujące zgodę na prowadzenie danych instalacji środowiskowych nie zawsze spełniają wymogi związane z ochroną środowiska, bowiem dokonują niekorzystnego podziału instalacji. Rozwój nowoczesnego rolnictwa i jego intensyfikacja może powodować szereg zagrożeń środowiskowych, głównie dla mieszkańców znajdujących się w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie ferm utrzymujących zwierzęta. Przemysłowa hodowla zwierząt nie jest obojętna dla jakości i warunków życia ludzi mieszkających w bliskim sąsiedztwie ferm za sprawą uciążliwych odorów oraz zanieczyszczeń wód, w tym w wyniku przenawożenia gleb, prowadzących do zagrożeń chemicznych i mikrobiologicznych. Skutkiem występujących uciążliwości są protesty lokalnych społeczeństw. Brak odpowiedniego nadzoru zagraża również rodzimym gatunkom zwierząt, wyniszczając zwłaszcza ptaki i niektóre ssaki.
The article compares two reports of the Supreme Audit Office, which has performed controls of state authorities obliged to supervise the functioning of fur farms. The conclusions presented by the Supreme Audit Office have confirmed suspicions that the supervision over these farms is not effective enough and leaves many doubts about the actions of state authorities. Cited reports clearly present an unstable situation of Polish controlling authorities. It is noteworthy in such a way, that it uncovers incompetence and irregularities of mentioned entities. It questions the current situation not only in the mentioned bodies, but also in the entire administrative and control structure. Additionally, the conclusions of the reports also state that entities obtaining authorization to run given environmental installations still have a possibility of avoiding the requirements concerning environmental protection by carrying out unfavorable divisions of these installations. Development and intensification of modern agriculture can cause a number of environmental risks, especially to people living in the immediate vicinity of farms. Industrial animal husbandry has a negative impact on the quality of life and living conditions nearby, due to foul odors and water contamination, including pollution caused by excessive fertilization that leads to chemical and microbiological hazards. These occurring inconveniences cause protests in local communities. The lack of adequate supervision also poses a threat to native species of animals, which may lead to extinction, especially among birds and certain mammals.

Celem badań była ocena różnic w emisji ciepła spowodowanych wiekiem i stanem fizjologicznym królików, przy pomocy metody termowizyjnej. Na podstawie wykonanych pomiarów stwierdzono, iż właściwości ciepłochronne futra królików ulegają zmianie zależnie od wieku i stanu fizjologicznego. Obszarem najsilniej emitującym ciepło są okolice płciowe, których temperatura jest najwyższa u samic mających objawy rui a najniższa u samców i samic ciężarnych. Uszy królików pełnią funkcję termoregulacyjną, a ich temperatura wykazuje znaczną zmienność osobniczą.
The aim of the study was to evaluate the differences in heat emission due to age and physiological state of rabbits. The study was conducted in the spring-summer season for 36 adults and 30 young New Zealand White rabbits. Distribution of the surface temperature of animals was recorded using a Flir System Thermovision A20 camera. The study indicates that the thermographic camera is a useful tool in assessing the rabbit fur quality. At a constant external temperature (19 °C) the genital area is about 1.5 °C cooler than the rabbit body temperature (38,5-40,5 °C), while the surface temperature of the body varies depending on a gender and technological group (p ≤ 0.05) (Tab. 1, Figs. 2 and 3). During pregnancy and lactation the female body is exposed to a greater burden than the male body, which affects directly the density and quality of the fur coat [1]. The genital area was characterized by the highest temperature from among all studied areas. Depending on the physiological state of rabbits it had a different temperature (p ≤ 0.05). This is a consequence of the fact that rabbits are polioestrus animals, ready to get pregnant almost throughout the year. One of the signs that does are sexually receptive is better blood circulation and redness of the vulva [2]. This explains the vulva lower temperature of the pregnant does and higher of lactating does, ready to mating almost immediately after birth. In young animals it was found that the surface temperature of ears was increased in subsequent weeks of life (p ≤ 0.001, Fig. 4, Tab. 2), while the surface temperature of the body decreased (p ≤ 0.001, Figs. 4, 5 and 6, Tab. 2).

Opis:
Kluczowym parametrem w ocenie jakości materiałów i wyrobów (w tym odzieży skórzanej) oraz związanych z tym zagrożeń bezpieczeństwa człowieka jest kryterium mikrobiologiczne. Podatność materiałów na destrukcyjne działanie drobnoustrojów, przejawiająca się w określonych wymiarach czasowych, będzie zależna od warunków, w jakich materiał znajduje się i jak będzie używany. W pracy przedstawiono ocenę skażenia mikrobiologicznego odzieży futrzarskiej i skórzanej, która uległa zalaniu podczas przechowywania w sklepie. Na kożuchach i skórzanej sukience zostały zidentyfikowane następujące bakterie: Bacillus altitudinis i Bacillus pumilus, Bacillius indicus, Bacillus sp., Micrococcus sp., Staphylococcus hominis, Arthtrobacter sp., Streptococcus parasanguinis, gronkowiec kagulazoujemny oraz grzyby pleśniowe z gatunków: Aspergillus ochraceus, Aspergillus niger, Cladosporium sp., Penicillium sp., Penicillium sp. 1, Penicillium sp. 2.
The microbiological criterion is a key parameter in assessing the quality of materials and products (including leather clothing) and the related threats to human safety. The susceptibility of materials to the destructive action of microorganisms, manifested in specific time dimensions, will depend on the conditions in which the material is located and how it will be used. The paper presents an assessment of microbiological contamination of fur and leather clothing that was flooded during storage in a store. On the sheepskin coat and leather dress, the following bacteria have been identified: Bacillus altitudinis and Bacillus pumilus, Bacillius indicus, Bacillus sp., Micrococcus sp., Staphylococcus hominis, Arthtrobacter sp., Streptococcus parasanguinis, Coagulase-negative Staphylococcus, and mold fungi of the species: Aspergillus ochraceus, Aspergillus niger, Cladosporium sp., Penicillium sp., Penicillium sp. 1, and Penicillium sp. 2.

Celem artykułu jest omówienie wybranych prezentacji niemieckojęzycznego przekładu powieści Artura Daniela Liskowackiego. W szkicu przeanalizowano wydawnicze strategie przedstawiania utworu w Niemczech oraz przeanalizowano opinię o powieści ukazaną w magazynie internetowym poświęconym książkom publikowanym w niemieckim kręgu językowym. Zaproponowano również wprowadzenie określeń precyzujących role współtwórców życia literackiego, którzy mają wpływ na opinię czytelników o utworze literackim. Omówiono wybrane działania „ustawiaczy” niemieckiego tłumaczenia Eine kleine oraz zasygnalizowano różnice w niemieckim i polskim „ustawianiu” powieści w przestrzeni medialnej.
The article aims to discuss the selected presentations of the German translation of Artur Daniel Liskowacki’s novel. The author analyzes the publisher’s strategies of presenting the novel in Germany and interprets the vision of the novel shown on a website dedicated to books published in German-speaking countries. The article suggests introducing terms that would specify the roles of literary figures that influence the readers’ opinions of given books. Moreover, certain selected actions of the “setters” of the German translation of Eine kleine are discussed and some differences are demonstrated between Polish and German adjusting of the “setting” of the novel in the media space.

This article presents the information concerning the organ in Wrocław’s St Elizabeth’s Church that was found in the journal “Zeitschrift für Instrumentenbau”. A total of six more extensive mentions have been encountered referring to organological issues. The list of publications which covers the years from 1907 to 1941 includes descriptions, characterisations, sound analyses, the voice disposition and illustrations of the organ in St. Elizabeth’s Church in Wrocław. Not less than five times reference is made to the reconstruction of the organ in 1907, which was carried out by the Świdnica-based company Schlag & Söhne. The last notice concerns the reconstruction of the organ in the years 1939‒1941.

Przedmiotem oceny właściwości elektrostatycznych była okrywa włosowa skór najważniejszych gatunków zwierząt futerkowych. W pomiarach została zastosowana metoda kontaktowo-tarciowa elektryzacji prób. W ramach badań elektrostatycznych właściwości owłosienia skór dodatkowo oceniono zdolność tworzywa do elektryzacji, które stanowiły: skóra, guma, PCV i aluminium. Pomiar natężenia pola elektrostatycznego wykonano miernikiem natężenia pola elektrostatycznego Rmel-fi zgodnie z instrukcją obsługi miernika. Wyniki badań wykazały, że czynnikiem jednoczącym właściwości okrywy włosowej był rodzaj ładunku, natomiast różnicującym były wielkość natężenia i gęstość ładunków elektrostatycznych, które zmieniały się zależnie od typu okrywy włosowej, charakterystycznej dla zwierząt danego gatunku.
The object of the assessment of electrostatic properties was the hair cover of pelts of major species of fur animals. Measurements of sample electrification were carried out with the assistance of a contact-frictional method. Additionally, within the framework of electrostatic studies of pelt hair properties, electrification capacity of the following materials was also assessed: leather, rubber, PCV and aluminium. Measurements of the intensity of the electrostatic field were taken using an Rmel-fi electrostatic field meter in accordance with the meter instruction manual. The results of the performed investigations showed that the factor which unified the hair cover properties was the kind of charge, whereas the level of the charge intensity and density of electrostatic charges differentiated these properties which changed depending on the type of the hair cover characteristic for animals of a given species.

Celem artykułu jest omówienie genezy, podstaw działalności, kompetencji oraz struktury aparatu represji Polski Ludowej, jakim niewątpliwie był Resort, a następnie Ministerstwo Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego. Przedstawione w nim zostały zarówno wydarzenia z czasów II Wojny Światowej, które na kolejne lata zdecydowały o losach kraju i społeczeństwa polskiego, naznaczając je ludzkimi tragediami, jak i te, w wyniku których umacniano wprowadzony reżim. Artykuł podzielony został na części, z których pierwsza omawia sytuację Polski w czasie wojny w kontekście realizacji planów Stalina, druga przybliża proces tworzenia aparatu represji zarówno pod względem strukturalnym, jak i regulacji prawnych. Część ta jest tematycznie związana z aneksem, który zawiera przykłady aktów „prawnych” nie tylko regulujących działalność resortu, ale także nakładających na społeczeństwo obowiązki i kary, z karą śmierci włącznie. Akty te niewiele miały wspólnego ze stanowieniem prawa, przeczyły wszelkim zasadom i regułom, co nie miało jednak jakiegokolwiek znaczenia. Ważne było, że każde działanie było oparte na przepisie. W trzeciej części artykułu przedstawiono organizację resortu i jego następcy na szczeblu centralnym i terenowym. Zawarte w nim zostały również informacje o osobach, które w sposób systematyczny i z pełnym zaangażowaniem realizowały zbrodniczą politykę Stalina. Zakończenie jest podsumowaniem pozycji RBP, a następnie MBP w procesie zniewalania narodu polskiego.
Dorota Nowicka’s aim in this article is to discuss the genesis, basics of activity, competences, and structure of the apparatus of repression of the Polish People’s Republic, which undoubtedly was the Department of Security (Resort Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego, RBP), subsequently the Ministry of Public Security (Ministerstwo Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego, MBP). Nowicka presents both the events of World War II, which for the following years decided the fate of the country and Polish society, marking them with human tragedies, as well as those which strengthened the new regime.The article is divided into several parts. In the first section, Nowicka discusses Poland’s situation during the war in the context of the implementation of Stalin’s plans. In the second section, she discusses the process of creating an apparatus of repression both in terms of structure and legal regulations. This part is thematically related to the annex, which contains examples of “legal” acts, which not only regulated the activities of the ministry, but also imposed obligations and penalties on society, including the death penalty. These acts had little to do with law-making and they contradicted all rules and regulations. This fact, however, was not important, as each operation was based on a regulation. The third section presents the organization of the department and its successor at the central and field level. It also contains information about individuals who systematically and with full commitment implemented Stalin’s criminal policy. The concluding section brings a summary of the position of the RBP and then the MBP in the process of enslaving the Polish nation.
Ziel des Artikels ist es, die Ursprünge, Grundlagen der Tätigkeit, Zuständigkeiten und Struktur des Repressionsapparates Volkspolens zu erörtern, welche Rolle zweifellos das Ressort und später das Ministerium für Öffentliche Sicherheit (Resort Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego, RBP; Ministerstwo Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego, MBP) innehatte. Im Artikel werden sowohl Ereignisse aus der Zeit des Zweiten Weltkriegs dargestellt, die das Schicksal des Landes und der polnischen Gesellschaft für die kommenden Jahre bestimmten und mit menschlichen Tragödien verbunden waren, als auch Ereignisse, die zur Festigung des eingeführten Regimes führten.Der Artikel ist in zwei Teile gegliedert: Im ersten Teil wird die Situation Polens während des Krieges im Kontext der Umsetzung von Stalins Plänen behandelt, während im zweiten Teil der Prozess des Aufbaus des Repressionsapparats beschrieben wird, sowohl in Bezug auf die Struktur als auch auf die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen. Dieser Teil steht in thematischem Zusammenhang mit dem Anhang, welcher Beispiele für „Rechtsakte“ enthält, die nicht nur die Tätigkeit des Ressorts regelten, sondern der Gesellschaft auch Verpflichtungen und Strafen auferlegten, einschließlich der Todesstrafe. Diese Akte hatten wenig mit Gesetzeserlassung zu tun; sie widersprachen allen Grundsätzen und Regeln, was aber keine Rolle spielte. Wichtig war, dass jede Handlung auf einer Regel beruhte. Im dritten Teil des Artikels wird die Organisation des Ressorts und seines Nachfolgers auf zentraler und lokaler Ebene dargestellt. Diese Schilderung enthält auch Informationen über die Personen, die die verbrecherische Politik Stalins systematisch und mit vollem Einsatz durchführten. Der Schluss ist eine Zusammenfassung der Position des RBP und später des MBP im Prozess der Versklavung des polnischen Volkes.

The paper presents the critical opinion expressed by Osiejewicz (2018b) who supports the view of Legislative Council of26 January 2018 on the draft act on the Polish Geological Agency that the German federal geological survey (Bundesanstalt fur Geowissenschaften und Rohstoffe - BGR) can be considered as an appropriate formula for the Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute (PGI - NRI). This opinion is groundless and ignores the fact that because of the federal nature of FRG, many tasks of the national geological survey can, and are, accomplished by the state geological surveys only, and cannot be realized by BGR. PGI-NRI in turn accomplishes tasks of both BGR and the state geological surveys and in addition, possesses bigger potential to undertake new tasks.
