Opis:: In his article, the author discusses the problem of youth that occurs in the poetry of Polish avant-garde poets. On the example of the interwar poems of Anatol Stern and Czesław Miłosz among others the researcher shows the functioning of the two major variants of the paradigm of youth in this poetry. The first one is related to the creation of youth as the ruthless force that forms new laws and qualities of life. The poets of the Second Avant-Garde present another model of youth in their works. The age of adolescence becomes a pretext for them to verify the existing world and settle with its naïve reception. Catastrophic moods are dominant in their art. Between these two variants of the paradigm of youth there are Adam Ważyk’s visions of adolescence, in which the researcher indicates the presence of idyllic threads and child’s imagination.

Opis:: The article presents the complicated story of a script, originally titled “ID Card”, was written in mid-1948 by Adam Ważyk. Had the script been approved for production, it would have been one of the first Polish post-war feature films. However, this did not happen. Apart from Adam Ważyk, Aleksander Ford, Jan Fethke and Ludwik Starski also worked on subsequent versions of the script. Due to complex political circumstances, none of the versions presented was approved by decision-makers. The author presents subsequent versions of the script which change along with social and political changes in Poland. The last version entitled “False Papers”, written by Ludwik Starski in 1968, contains clear elements of an action film. However, this was not a good time for this type of production. Over a period of 20 years, the script of “False Papers” underwent a peculiar metamorphosis: from a political pamphlet, to a didactic story, and finally, an action film with an unexplained mystery and war in the background. None of these versions became a film.

Opis:: Когнитивна наука је основа овог чланка који покушава да ствара прототип савршене ситуације у преводу и затим категоризuje две такве ситуације: превод са пољског на српски и са пољског на енглески. Овај прототип је процес у коме преводилац нема проблема да нађе еквивалент речи, a читалац може да прочита у преводу смисао оргинала. Иако је ова савршена ситуација нестварна, различите ситуације превода могу бити класификоване као “бољи“ или „гори“ представници ове категорије. Чланак се фокусира на пољском, српском и енглеском језику и закључак је да превод са пољског на српски је бољи представник категорије него превод са пољскод на енглески. Деси се тако због тога да пољски и српски потиче из зaједничке групе словенских језика.
The article is based on cognitive science and tries to create a prototype of a perfect situation in translation and then categorize two of these situations: a translation from Polish into English and from Polish into Serbian. The prototype is a process in which the translator doesn’t find it difficult to find equivalents and the reader is able to understand the sense of the original. Although this perfect situation is unreal, different situations can be classified as “better” or “worse” representatives of it. As the article focuses on Polish, Serbian and English languages, the conclusion is that the translation from Polish into Serbian is a better representative of the category than the translation from Polish into English as the language relationship of the two former languages is stronger than the relationship between the two latter ones.
