    Zasadniczym celem artykułu jest wskazanie obszarów oddziaływania społeczeństwa informacyjnego na zrównoważony rozwój. W tym kontekście dokonano również oceny poziomu rozwoju społeczeństwa informacyjnego w Polsce w latach 2009-2012. Rozważania teoretyczne oraz ocena rozwoju społeczeństwa informacyjnego w Polsce pozwolą na realizację celów pracy. W artykule wykorzystano literaturę przedmiotu, metodę opisową i metody statystyczne.
    The growth in the ICT industry contributes to the development of the information society in a wide range. It influences on a shaping the economic, social and ecological order. It forms the basis for the sustainable development. The main goal of this article is to indicate areas of positive effects of the information society on the sustainable development. In this context, with the use of the statistical data and dynamic indicators, the authors assess the level of the development of the information society in Poland between 2009 and 2012. The practical part of this thesis is preceded with theoretical deliberations on the information society and the sustainable development.

    Opis:
    The aim of the study was to the assess Western Pomeranian renewable groundwater resources in relation to climate change. The objective was accomplished by simulating the water balance components in two periods of 1971-2000 and 1981-2010, differing in terms of climatic parameters (precipitation, evaporation, air temperature and wind speed). The results of the simulation calculations allowed to assess the impact of climate change on the water balance structure of Western Pomerania and particularly on groundwater recharge. The data for the simulation calculations in the WetSpass model were included 8 numerical maps (raster), representing the basic elements of the climate, land use, types of soil (due to soil texture), depth of the groundwater table and terrain slopes. As a result of the simulation calculations, raster maps of the spatial distribution ofparticular elements of the water balance were obtained sub-divided into the summer and winter seasons and for the whole year.
