    Opis:
    W artykule dokonano oceny własności palnych i wybuchowych trichloroetylenu według różnych źródeł literaturowych i unormowań prawnych. Wykonano pomiary temperatury zapłonu w tyglu zamkniętym według obowiązującej normy PN-EN 22719 (2000). Stwierdzono doświadczalnie, że TRI nie zapala się w warunkach opisanych w normie. Przeprowadzane badania i analiza wskazują na nieprawidłowość klasyfikowania urządzeń i osprzętu elektrycznego stosowanego w obecności TRI do grupy IIA.
    Estimation of flammable properties of trichlorethylene according to different literature sources has been given. Measurements of the ignition temperature in a closed cup under the obligatory standard PN-EN 22719 (2000) have been carried out. It has been experimentally proved that TRI does not ignite in conditions described in the obligatory standard. Experimental results and analysis have shown it is not correct to include in group IIA electrical devices and equipment used in the presence of trichlorethylene.

    Sprawdzano doświadczalnie wrażliwość kompozytu polipropylenu, w postaci maty o niskiej gęstości upakowania, na działanie podwyższonej temperatury. Wrażliwość oceniano, analizując wpływ atmosfery o różnej zawartości tlenu na temperaturę początku rozkładu kompozytu polipropylenu z włóknem szklanym o składzie zbliżonym do 45/55. Stwierdzono, że w atmosferze powietrza początkowa temperatura rozkładu wynosi ok. 200ºC. Obniżenie stężenia tlenu w atmosferze do ok. 2% powoduje wzrost temperatury rozkładu kompozytu do ok. 240ºC. Produkty rozkładu zidentyfikowano w kondensacie oraz ekstrakcie kompozytu w chlorku metylenu. Oszacowana szybkość rozkładu umożliwia przeprowadzanie analizy bezpieczeństwa procesu przetwarzania kompozytu.
    Sensitivity of the polypropylene composite in the form of mat with low density of packing was checked experimentally to operation at increased temperature. The sensitivity was examined analyzing the impact of atmosphere with different oxygen content on the temperature of the beginning of degradation of the polypropylene composite with fiber glass with composition 45/55. It has been found that in the air atmosphere, the initial degradation temperature is about 200ºC. Lowering the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere to approximately 2% results in increase of composite degradation temperature to ca. 240ºC. Degradation products were identified in the condensate and in the extract of composite in methylene chloride. Rate of degradation was estimated which is allowing for a brief safety analysis.

    T. vaginalis was found in 21.8% out of 320 parturient women in the Clinic; in 91% of the pregnant infested with T. vaginalis there were inflammatory manifestations of the vagina during pregnancy. In the puerperium, the infested women often showed longstanding temperature rises. The reasons accounting for the febrile course of the puerperium in women infested with T. vaginalis are discussed.

    In 1961-1962, the examinations of 225 pregnant women suspected of having toxoplasmosis revealed positive serologic and allergic reations in 93 cases; 67 women were subjected to prophylactic treatment (daraprim, sulphonamides, aureomycin); 62 women delivered of living babies, born at term, 4 had abortions and 1 prolonged labour terminated with still birth. The follow-up examinations in 52 mothers revealed no abnormalities except for positive complement fixation reaction in 7 eases.

    Opis:
    The article shows the exemplary use of qualitative and quantitative methods to conduct analysis, interpretation and presentation of research results in the field of social sciences. The creation of the Ishikawa diagram and the way the Pareto-Lorenz analysis is conducted, as well as the mutual relationship between these methods while interpreting research results, has been discussed in detail. The possibilities of the practical use of the methods above have been presented in the example of the analysis of the report on Causes of Unjust Convictions in Poland by the Civil Development Forum.
