    The article relates to the issue of training candidates for the teacher profession. By referencing to the core of the competencies required for the teacher’s work in a changing school, the weakest areas, which are the source of the fear and anxiety of students completing teacher education, were identified. The sources of fears, as well as proposals for changes in education to the teaching profession, were compiled on the basis of research conducted among 187 candidates of the profession of teacher studying at universities in Malopolska (Lesser Poland Voivodeship).

    Wzory osobowe mają duży wpływ na formowanie się młodego człowieka, w tym również kandydata do zawodu nauczyciela. Wynika to z rozwojowej potrzeby posiadania wzorca w zakresie formowanego systemu wartości, postaw, zachowań i cech osobowych. Posiadanie wzorców osobowych jest też ważne z perspektywy kształcenia do zawodu nauczyciela, rozwoju kompetencji zawodowych oraz kształtowania się tożsamości. W artykule skoncentrowano się na wzorach osobowych nauczycieli obecnych w doświadczeniach osobistych kandydatów do tego zawodu. Celem badań było określenie wzorca nauczyciela (kategorie i cechy w obrębie celów życiowych, motywów działań i zachowań oraz cech osobowych) obecnego w życiu przyszłych nauczycieli szkół artystycznych. Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, że studenci uczelni artystycznej posiadają wciąż obecne i warunkujące rozwój wzorce osobowe w postaci nauczycieli ze szkół artystycznych.
    Personal patterns have a great influence on the formation of a young person, including a candidate for the teaching profession. This is effect to the developmental need to have a pattern in the formed system of values, attitudes, behaviours and personal characteristics. Having personal patterns is also important from the perspective of training for the teaching profession, developing professional competences and shaping identity. The article focuses on the personal models of teachers present in the personal experiences of candidates for this profession. The aim of the research was to determine the teacher’s pattern (categories and characteristics within life goals, motives for actions and behaviours and personal characteristics) present in the lives of future teachers of art schools. The conducted research shows that students of an art university still have the current personal patterns that determine their development in the form of teachers from art schools.

    Having the right potential as well as the desire to develop yourself, students or school is not possible in the absence of conditions that favor (self) development and development of entities and institutions. It is not just the material conditions that are extremely important; the immaterial space of school is more important, which is formed by the relations between the subjects based on fundamental human values. The subject matter discussed in the article is focused on the importance of the school development category and the entities operating in it. The text discusses selected work of researchers sensitizing to the possibilities and limitations of the development of schools that emphasize the importance of leadership and trust in school everyday life as those that significantly contribute to the improvement of schoolwork and efficiency increase. Teachers’ leadership is understood here as the essence and competence leading to development and trust as a value decisive for the moral space of the school, its culture conducive to learning.

    This article addresses the issue of relations between contemporary adolescents (deeply rooted in the cyber world) and their parents. The aim of the study was to explore and describe relations between adolescents and their parents viewed through the prism of the motives of undertaking online activity. The main research question was: What are the relations between adolescents active on the Internet and their parents? In the study, the authors used the questionnaire method. The research encompassed 706 persons, 339 men and 367 women, including: 480 pupils from lower secondary schools (23 classes) and 226 from secondary schools (10 classes). The research showed that even though the relations with mothers and fathers should be described as constructive, mother-child relations turned out to be better than fatherchild relations. It is the mother who most frequently supports a child in difficult moments. She is chosen as a conversation partner more frequently than a girlfriend/boyfriend or friends. The mother has the biggest influence on the child’s style of dress. The role of the father is marginal in this area. On the basis of the research, it is possible to state that the more supportive the relations with the mother are, the lesser the child’s online activity is. Such activity serves as an ’escape’ from problems and from unpleasant emotional conditions. Additionally, if the mother plays the role of a friend in a young man’s life (knowing their friends), provides positive feedback (also in the form of expressed emotions), the child’s activity in cyberspace is of a ’social’ nature (mostly staying in touch with friends). Finally, guidelines for teachers’ pedagogical work with parents at school were formulated, with the aim of preparing parents for building and maintaining relations with children as an effective tool of preventing Internet addiction.
    W prezentowanym artykule przedmiotem zainteresowań badawczych uczyniono relacje pomiędzy współczesną młodzieżą – mocno zakorzenioną w „cyfrowym” świecie – a rodzicami. Celem przeprowadzonych badań była eksploracja i opis relacji młodzieży z rodzicami przez pryzmat motywów podejmowania przez nich aktywności w Internecie. Główny problem badawczy przyjął postać pytania: Jakie są relacje młodzieży aktywnej w Internecie z rodzicami? W badaniach posłużono się metodą ankiety. Badaniami objęto 706 osób, 339 mężczyzn i 367 kobiet w tym: 480 uczniów z gimnazjum (23 klasy) oraz 226 ze szkół średnich (10 klas). Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, że mimo, iż relacje z ojcem i z matką określić należy jako konstruktywne, jednakże relacje z matką okazały się lepsze. Matka jest osobą, od której młodzież najczęściej otrzymuje wsparcie w trudnych chwilach. Ponadto jest ona częściej partnerem do rozmowy niż chłopak/dziewczyna czy koledzy, a także ma największy wpływ na styl ubierania się. Rola ojca w tym zakresie jest marginalna. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań można stwierdzić, że im bardziej wspierające relacje ze strony matki, tym mniej aktywności w Internecie, która ma charakter „ucieczki” od problemów i nieprzyjemnych stanów emocjonalnych. Dodatkowo jeżeli matka pełni w życiu młodego człowieka rolę przyjaciela (znając jego znajomych) i daje mu pozytywne informacje zwrotne (również w postaci wyrażanych emocji), aktywność jej dziecka w cyberprzestrzeni przyjmuje charakter „społeczny” (głownie podtrzymanie kontaktów ze znajomymi). W części końcowej sformułowano wskazania do pedagogicznej pracy nauczycieli z rodzicami w szkole, w celu przygotowania ich do budowania i podtrzymywania relacji z dziećmi, jako najskuteczniejszemu narzędziu zapobiegania uzależnienia od Internetu

    The article focuses on the issue of teacher’s diagnostic competence. In order to emphasize the importance of the issue and to encourage scientifi c discussion, the value of the contemporary teacher’s pedagogical competences was pointed out, among which diagnostic competence was highlighted. Then the importance of diagnostic competence in working with the student and the consequences of its lack, which is the student’s marginalization, were determined. The conclusions indicate the implications for educational practice.
    W prezentowanym artykule skoncentrowano się na zagadnieniu kompetencji diagnostycznej nauczyciela. Aby podkreślić ważność poruszanego zagadnienia i zachęcić do naukowej dyskusji, wskazano na wartość kompetencji pedagogicznych współczesnego nauczyciela, wyeksponowano wśród nich kompetencję diagnostyczną, a następnie określono jej znaczenie w pracy z uczniem oraz konsekwencje jej braku, jaką jest marginalizacja ucznia. W konkluzjach wskazano implikacje dla praktyki edukacyjnej.
