Management of companies in the era of globalization and integration of market economy becomes a very complex issue, calling for knowledge of rules, methods and marketing instruments.

Celem poniższego artykułu jest próba oceny stopnia przygotowania polskiego systemu finansowego do uczestnictwa w Unii Gospodarczej i Walutowej (UGW) oraz identyfikowanie zakresu jego integracji z rynkiem finansowym strefy euro. Przedmiotem szczególnego zainteresowania autora jest zdolność zintegrowanego rynku finansowego do wygładzania konsumpcji i inwestycji (portfolio risk sharing) w warunkach wystąpienia szoku asymetrycznego. Jest to jedna z właściwości tzw. nowej teorii Optymalnego Obszaru Walutowego (OOW), którą wskazuje się jako komplementarną w stosunku do tzw. tradycyjnych kryteriów OOW. Analiza porównawcza literatury naukowej oraz zestawienie podstawowych wielkości charakteryzujących polski system finansowy sugerują, że jest on w znacznej mierze zintegrowany z rynkiem europejskim. Jednakże stopień jego rozwoju (poziom pośrednictwa, zakres usług transgranicznych) nie pozwala jednoznacznie ocenić zdolności do skutecznej absorpcji szoków asymetrycznych po wejściu do strefy euro. Głównym czynnikiem hamującym integrację polskiego i europejskiego rynku finansowego jest ryzyko kursowe.
This article is aimed at evaluating readiness of the Polish financial system for joining the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU), and identifying the range of its integration with the financial market of the euro zone. The author is interested in particular in the capability of an integrated financial market to smoothen consumption and investment (portfolio risk sharing) under the conditions of an asymmetric shock. This is a feature of the 'New' Theory of Optimal Currency Areas (OCA), considered complementary for the traditional criteria of the OCA. The comparative analysis of scientific literature and the juxtaposition of the basic values characteristic for the Polish financial system suggest that it is integrated to a large extent with the European market. However, the degree of its development (quality of agency services, range of transborder services) does not facilitate unequivocal assessment of the capability to effectively absorb asymmetric shocks after entering the euro zone. The major factor which impedes the integration of the Polish and European financial markets is exchange risk.

Opis:
The aim of this paper is to identify and analyse the net convergence on the financial market due to supervisory convergence on the financial market in the microprudential and macroprudential systemic approach and to place this process in the financial net reliance after the legal changes implemented by the European System of Financial Supervision and European Banking Union. In particular, instruments and mechanisms of the EU and national (Polish) instruments and mechanisms for achieving supervisory convergence were analysed, which is a sine qua non for achieving the objective of financial stability, illustrating at the same time the convergence of financial administration in the EU financial market and the legal effects and results of this convergence in institutional, procedural, substantive and network dimensions. The thesis of the study is that three equivalent, necessary and complementary regulatory ways of achieving supervisory convergence in the financial market can be identified.
Celem opracowania jest uzasadnienie konieczności wyodrębnienia pojęcia „konwergencja sieciowa” na rynku finansowym, do czego w rozważaniach prowadzi przedstawienie zagadnienia procesu konwergencji nadzorczej na rynku finansowym w aspekcie mikr-, makroostrożnościowym i systemowym, a także umiejscowienie go w sieciowym układzie zależności, w jakich umiejscowiony został ten proces po zmianach prawnych wywołanych wprowadzeniem ESNF i EUB. W szczególności analizie poddano instrumenty i mechanizmy unijne i krajowe (polskie) służące osiąganiu zbieżności nadzorczej, co jest warunkiem sine qua non urzeczywistniania celu stabilności finansowej, a zarazem ilustrujące konwergencję administracji finansowej na rynku finansowym UE oraz skutki prawne i rezultaty tej konwergencji w wymiarze instytucjonalnym, proceduralnym, materialnoprawnym i sieciowym. Tezą opracowania jest twierdzenie o możliwości wyodrębnienia trzech równoważnych, potrzebnych i uzupełniających się regulacyjnych sposobów osiągania konwergencji nadzorczej na rynku finansowym.

Celem opracowania jest ocena integracji rynku towarowego UE i jej efektów dla Polski i innych nowych krajów członkowskich. Autorka rozpoczyna od przedstawienia integracji rynku towarowego Unii Europejskiej po 2000 r., podkreślając, iż wprowadzenie reguł unii gospodarczej i walutowej uruchomiło w krajach strefy euro procesy poprawy efektywności funkcjonowania rynków dóbr, usług, kapitału i pracy. W wyniku tych procesów oraz zaostrzenia konkurencji, zwłaszcza w sektorze usług finansowych, poprawiła się alokacja zasobów, w sektorach produkcyjnych i usługowych prowadząca do podniesienia skuteczności zarządzania całym systemem oraz do wzrostu ogólnej stabilności gospodarczej, mającej wpływ zarówno na wzrost obrotów międzynarodowych, jak i na przyspieszenie wzrostu gospodarczego Unii jako całości. W dalszej części artykułu analizie została poddana integracja rynku towarowego Polski. Przedstawiono także wyniki w handlu zagranicznym Polski z Unią Europejską (i konkurencyjność eksportu Polski) w porównaniu z krajami Grupy Wyszehradzkiej. Autorka podkreśla, że na tle innych krajów Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej widoczny jest stosunkowo niski poziom aktywności eksportowej Polski. Artykuł kończy przedstawienie implikacji członkostwa w UE dla polskiego rynku towarowego.
This paper aims at evaluating integration of the EU commodity market and its effects for Poland and other new Member States. The author begins with presenting integration of the EU commodity market after 2000, pointing out that introducing the rules of the economic and monetary union initiated the process of improving effectiveness of the functioning of the markets of goods, services, capital and labour in the Euro zone states. As a result of the processes in combination with more severe competitiveness, especially in the financial services sector, allocation of resources in production and service sectors improved, effecting in increasing effectiveness of managing the entire system and the rise of general economic stability, which influenced both an increase in international turnover and accelerated economic growth of the EU as a whole. The following part of the paper covers an analysis of the commodity market in Poland. The results of foreign trade between Poland and the EU are presented as well (along with the competitiveness of Polish exports) as compared to the Vyshehrad Group countries. The author emphasizes that, when compared to other countries of the Middle and Eastern Europe, a relatively low level of exports activity of Poland can be acknowledged. The article ends up with a display of implications of EU membership for Polish commodity market.

Utworzenie wspólnego rynku bez granic wewnętrznych uznano za jedno z największych osiągnięć integracji europejskiej. Nie jest to jednak proces zakończony, a założenie, że będzie on w przyszłości funkcjonował jak jeden rynek narodowy, nie zostało w pełni zrealizowane. Wspólny rynek, mimo pozytywnych efektów, jakie wynikały z jego utworzenia, wymaga podjęcia działań na rzecz poprawy jego efektywności, zniesienia jeszcze istniejących barier w zakresie podstawowych swobód i sprostania wyzwaniom, jakie pojawiły się w związku z globalizacją i rosnącą konkurencją. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie funkcjonowania wspólnego rynku w XXI w. w kontekście nowych wyzwań oraz ukazanie kierunków zmian i strategii jego rozwoju w przyszłości.
The creation of a common market without internal borders was considered one of the greatest achievements of European integration. The single market, despite the positive effects that resulted from its creation, requires action to improve its efficiency, the elimination of barriers still existing in the area of fundamental freedom. The single market must also meet the challenges arising in connection with globalization and increasing competition. This article presents the functioning of the common market in the context of new challenges and show the directions of change and strategy for its future development.

EU has presented five scenarios from which only one can be used as a guideline for the future path of European integration. None of the five scenarios has been selected as the one that will be followed in the future since the time they were shown to the public in March 2017. EU documents indicate that preferences are clear and “Europe plans to do more and together with all”. A similar situation is indicated by the context of closer cooperation between NATO and the EU. Nevertheless such a choice does not seem to get the uphold as far as the political situation in most of the EU states shows. The aim of this article is to present the conditions that will be used as a starting point for the formulation of three possible scenarios: most probable, pessimistic and optimistic.

The article shows the problem of integration of Poland into the European Union in the context of Polish companies. It was taken into consideration here that to come into being effectively onto the European Market, Polish companies already have to make the effort to adapt to the Union requirements. The process of adaptation is unquestionably extremely difficult and expensive, but we should be aware of the fact that apart from the threats it may also stand a chance (hopefully better and better), and when the Polish companies properly take the chance, it may determine their development.

Artykuł stara się przybliżyć polskim praktykom i badaczom sposoby tworzenia sieci współpracy lokalnych instytucji w niemieckim mieście Monachium. Autorka przedstawia próby i formy współpracy instytucjonalnej na rzecz integracji imigrantów na lokalnym rynku pracy. Tezy i wnioski przedstawione w artykule oparte są na różnych metodach badawczych, zastosowanych przez autorkę podczas jej pracy nad projektami integracyjnymi na rynku pracy w Monachium, początkowo pracy naukowej, a później również praktycznej. Artykuł nawiązuje do historii i sposobu tworzenia sieci inicjatyw na rzecz imigrantów oraz wybranych projektów integracyjnych Referatu do spraw Pracy i Gospodarki w Wydziale Komunalnym Polityki Zatrudniania i Kwalifikacji Urzędu Miasta Monachium. Analizie zostają poddane zarówno szanse, jak i wyzwania rozwoju lokalnych sieci współpracy w stolicy Bawarii.
The article is an attempt to familiarize Polish practitioners and researchers with the various methods of building networks of cooperation within local institutions in the German city of Munich. The author presents the attempts and forms of institutional cooperation in the framework of immigrant integration in the local labour market. The arguments and conclusion presented in the article are based on various research methods used by the author in her work on integration projects in regards to the labour market in Munich, firstly based in academic research and then practical. The article recalls the history and approach to building networks of initiatives for immigrants as well as selected integration projects of the Department of Labour and Economic Development of the City of Munich. The opportunities as well as challenges of the development of local networks of cooperation in the capital of Bavaria are the subject of analysis.

January 1, 2013 have passed twenty years since the formal establishment of the single internal market of the European Union. This does not mean that from that day there were no barriers to movement of goods, persons, services and capital. They were abolished gradually, but still today the European Union’s internal market, which consists of 28 countries and inhabited by over 500 million people, it does not operate as a single national market. The aim of the study is to show the evolution of the functioning of the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital, with particular emphasis on the direction of changes in the near future.

The inclusion of Poland to the common market for goods meant the abolition of customs duties and quantitative restrictions on agricultural products in mutual trade with the countries of the European Union (customs duties on industrial goods have already been abolished by the Europe Agreement) and the application of the Common Customs Tariff on imports from third countries. Freedom of movement of goods after the accession to the EU accounted for Polish entrepreneurs a chance, because the fulfillment of EU norms and standards means full access to the common market, amounting to more than 500 million inhabitants. Particularly noticeable was the impact of accession on foreign trade, which, thanks to the membership not only gained easier access to the common market, but also new opportunities to increase trade with third countries. Since Polish accession to the EU gradually increased trade in agricultural products as well as their participation in the Polish foreign trade. Emigration of Poles also increased significantly, especially to countries that with effect from 1 May 2004 opened their labor markets, namely the United Kingdom, Ireland. In the final evaluation of the benefits of joining the common market and free movement of goods, persons, services and capital far outweigh, in both the scale of the economy and at the micro level, the costs associated with membership in the European common market.

W pracy przedstawiono sytuację polskiego rynku nieruchomości na tle innych krajów Unii Europejskiej. Określono średnie ceny nieruchomości w poszczególnych krajach, przeprowadzono analizę różnic cenowych pomiędzy stolicami, przy uwzględnieniu wielkości miast, wyznaczono wzrost liczby transakcji przed akcesją i po niej. Przedstawiono problem zakupu ziemi przez obcokrajowców. Główną uwagę skierowano na analizę krakowskiego rynku nieruchomości. Uwzględniono jego zalety i wady, rozwój miasta i rozwój gospodarki, rynku mieszkaniowego, działek niezabudowanych, powierzchni biurowych i handlowych.
In the paper the situation of the Polish market of real estates was presented and compared with other countries of the European Union. Average prices of real estates in respective countries were defined, the analysis of price differences between capitals was made, the size of cities was taken into account, and the growth of the number of transactions before and after the accession was presented. The problem of purchasing land by foreigners was shown. The main focus was on the analysis of the Krakow market of real estates, regarding its advantages, disadvantages, and development of the city and development of economy, market of apartments, not built-up land, office surfaces and commercial space.
