The aim of the article is to draw attention to the factors which affect the occupational rehabilitation of participants of vocational therapy workshops, to discuss the role of these workshops in terms of social and occupational rehabilitation of the disabled, and present model solutions which enable the participants of the workshops to enter the labour market. Examples of good practice in the area of occupational rehabilitation in cooperation with the Institute of Vocational Activity (ZAZ) are presented as well as the model of social cooperatives of legal entities as innovative and alternative forms of support for vocational rehabilitation in relation to the ZAZ and Supported Employment Enterprise. The article presents also the opportunities that local government have to support the social cooperatives and the benefits thereof through the application of social clauses.

Opis:
The article presents the state of research and the research problems concerning the early modern Polish embroidery and the role of the monastic workshops in its formation. Embroidery was one of the regular occupation in the female congregations. Nuns embroidered for their churches, as well as they took the orders from outside – from male congregations, the higher clergy and the secular customers. Their importance has increased in the 17th century, and in the 18th century nearly all convents dealt with this craft. The preserved embroideries reflect the general stylish trends prevailing in the handicrafts, but they are characterized by greater conservatism. Their level is very varied, from perfect works to very weak and inept ones. Nuns rarely prepared themselves patterns for embroideries, more often they used the services of craftsmen or they were repeating the proven solutions. They certainly used the embroidery pattern books. An important inspiration for them were also patterns of fabrics. While the floral motifs showed high proficiency, in less common figural presentations we often see much incompetence. Vestments decorated with the elaborate symbolic representations are distinguished among them. At this stage of research it seems that the monastic workshops have had a major impact on the prosperity of embroidery in the Republic of Poland and that along with the guilds they developed a certain style and taste. Preserved objects are waiting for being catalogued and for insightful research that let us connect more of them with definite workshops.
Artykuł przedstawia stan badań i problemy badawcze dotyczące zagadnienia polskiego hafciarstwa nowożytnego i roli, jaką odegrały w nim pracownie klasztorne. Haftowanie było jednym ze stałych zajęć w zgromadzeniach żeńskich. Siostry haftowały dla swoich kościołów, a także realizowały zamówienia z zewnątrz – dla męskich zakonów i wyższego duchowieństwa oraz dla świeckich zleceniodawców. Ich znaczenie wzrosło w XVII wieku, a w XVIII wieku rzemiosłem tym trudniły się niemal wszystkie zakony. Zachowane hafty odzwierciedlają ogólne tendencje stylowe panujące w rzemiośle, cechuje je jednak większy konserwatyzm. Ich poziom jest bardzo zróżnicowany, od prac perfekcyjnych po słabe i nieudolne. Wzory do haftów siostry rzadko sporządzały same, czasem korzystały z usług mistrzów cechowych, powtarzały także po sobie sprawdzone rozwiązania. Z pewnością korzystały z wzorników hafciarskich. Ważną dla nich inspiracją były ponadto desenie tkanin. O ile w oddaniu motywów roślinno-kwiatowych wykazywały dużą biegłość, to w rzadziej spotykanych przedstawieniach figuralnych mamy często do czynienia z nieporadnością. Wyróżniają się szaty liturgiczne ozdobione rozbudowanymi przedstawieniami symbolicznymi. Na tym etapie badań wydaje się, że warsztaty klasztorne miały duży wpływ na rozkwit hafciarstwa w Rzeczypospolitej i że wraz z warsztatami cechowymi kształtowały pewien styl i gust. Zachowane zabytki czekają na skatalogowanie i wnikliwe badania, które być może pozwolą na połączenie większej ich liczby z konkretnymi warsztatami.

Niniejszy artykuł opisuje w formie syntezy założenia, przebieg oraz rezultat dwuetapowych międzynarodowych warsztatów projektowych realizowanych w 2019 roku w ramach współpracy pomiędzy Wydziałem Architektury Politechniki Śląskiej, Wydziałem Architektury Politechniki Wrocławskiej, Wydziałem Architektury Politechniki w Dreźnie oraz niemieckim stowarzyszeniem Windmühle Seifhennersdorf e.V. Studenckie warsztaty architektoniczne są dopełnieniem edukacji kursowej na Wydziale Architektury, znacznie wzbogacają wiedzę praktyczną, szczególnie w sferze pracy w zespole międzynarodowym i międzywydziałowym [3]. Opisane warsztaty były szczególnie wartościowe w procesie edukacji architekta, ponieważ pomysłodawcy sami wykonali zaprojektowaną przez siebie konstrukcję - była to konfrontacja pomiędzy ideą a rzeczywistością.
This article describes in the form of a synthesis the assumptions, course and result of two-stage international design workshops carried out in 2019 as part of cooperation between the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology, the Faculty of Architecture of the Wrocław University of Technology, the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Dresden and the German association Windmühle Seifhennersdorf e.V. Student architectural workshops complement the course education at the Faculty of Architecture, significantly enrich practical knowledge, especially in the area of work in an international and inter-faculty team [1]. The described workshops were especially valuable in the process of educating an architect because the designers themselves made the structure they designed - it was a confrontation between the idea and reality.

The article also presents one way of implementing non-formal education through interactive workshops.

Many years of excavation works in the gord in Międzyrzecz have resulted in discovering the remains of three small glass workshops from the second half of the 10th century, the second half of the 11th century and the 13th century. The scarce and typically scattered sources have made it possible to identify the workshops’ nature and, to a very limited extent, the products manufactured there. The discovery included pieces of large and small crucibles, waste from the preliminary stage of glass melting. Most probably, low-alkaline potassium glass was produced there

The paper includes an analysis of rank-and-file social movement aiming at reform of Manual Workshops for intellectually disabled participants. This movement is an answer on long termed system negligence. The conceptual base of the movement is a new way of understanding of intellectual disability. Instead of traditional depiction stressing necessity of rehabilitation and therapy, there is stressed here the specificity of mental retardation treated as a manifestation of human diversity which should be respected and protected.
Tekst stanowi analizę rodzącego się oddolnego ruchu społecznego dążącego do reformy funkcjonowania Warsztatów Terapii Zajęciowej. Ruch ten jest odpowiedzią na wieloletnie zaniedbania systemowe związane z działalnością WTZ. Podstawą tworzenia się ruchu jest nowy sposób rozumienia niepełnosprawności intelektualnej. W miejsce tradycyjnego ujęcia, akcentującego konieczność rehabilitacji i terapii, uwypukla się specyfikę upośledzenia umysłowego jako przejawu różnorodności natury ludzkiej, którą należy szanować i chronić.

Artykuł opisuje projekt pod nazwą „Trener – Ekspert” realizowa- ny wspólnie przez Katedrę Porównawczych Studiów Cywilizacji UJ i stowarzyszenie SIETAR Polska (Society for Intercultural Edu- cation Training and Research). Celem projektu było opracowanie i przeprowadzenie warsztatów międzykulturowych dla studentów kierunku Kulturoznawstwo. Każdy warsztat został przygotowany przez zespół składający się z trenera (lub trenerów) międzykulturo- wego z SIETAR Polska, który wybrał metody aktywizujące z obsza- ru dydaktyki trenerskiej oraz wykładowcy KPSC, który pełnił rolę eksperta w zakresie danego tematu. Warsztaty dały studentom moż- liwość zapoznania się z formą treningu międzykulturowego, prze- ćwiczenia umiejętności, które mogą im ułatwić kontakt z osobami odmiennymi kulturowo, a także zastanowienia się nad własną posta- wą otwartości na różnice kulturowe. W 2016 r. odbyły się dwa war- sztaty, tzn. dotyczący współpracy z Hindusami i procesu stereotypi- zacji. Obydwa warsztaty spotkały się z dużym zainteresowaniem ze strony studentów. Projekt pozwolił także na wypracowanie standar- dów współpracy wykładowcy z trenerem międzykulturowym, które będzie można wykorzystać przy realizacji kolejnych tego typu pro- jektów w przyszłości.
The article describes a project entitled „Trainer – Expert” that was rea- lised jointly by the Centre for Comparative Studies of Civilisations at the Jagiellonian University and SIETAR Polska (Society for Intercul- tural Education Training and Research). The aim of the project was to prepare and conduct intercultural workshops for students of Cultural Studies. Every workshop was developed by a team consisting of an in- tercultural trainer (or trainers) from SIETAR Polska who selected the active training methods, and a CCSC lecturer who had the role of an expert in a particular subject of the training. The workshops gave stu- dents the opportunity to learn a formula for intercultural training and to practise skills that may enable them to communicate effectively across cultures. They also could reflect critically on their own attitude towards cultural diversity. In 2016 two workshops took place, i.e. on cooperating with Indians, and on the process of stereotipization. Both workshops met with great interest among students. The project also resulted in cre- ating the standards of the lecturer – intercultural trainer collaboration, which will be very useful for implementing similar projects in the future.

Artykuł zawiera opis systemu (warsztatów), założeń teoretycznych, celów, programu oraz poszczególnych jego elementów.
The results of the author’s study over the stimulation of the auto-creative processes and the development of didactic abilities in the young university teachers are discussed in the article. The work resulted in the system of university teachers training, focused on the improvement of their teaching skills, which is implemented in the Akademia Gorniczo-Hutnicza (Mining and Steelworks Academy) and the Akademia Roinicza (Agricultural Academy) in Krakow in the form of Courses in Teaching Excellence. The article contains the description of the workshop, its theoretical assumptions, targets, curriculum and its particular components.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie Warsztatów Liturgiczno-Muzycznych jako wydarzenia, które w ostatnich kilkunastu latach w polskim Kościele włączyło się w bardzo ważny element formacji chrześcijańskiej muzyków kościelnych i osób, które dzięki doświadczeniu udziału w warsztatach kreują muzykę w czasie liturgii w swoich wspólnotach parafialnych. W kontekście Adhortacji apostolskiej o katechizacji w naszych czasach św. Jana Pawła II Catechesi tradendae i rocznicy jej opublikowania, co skłania do powrotu ważnych treści nauczania głowy Kościoła, widzimy w fenomenie warsztatów odpowiedź na wezwania Świętego Papieża Polaka; wezwania do formacji i ewangelizacji, stawania się świadomym uczestnikiem liturgii i kształtowania przez nią świadectwa swojego życia. Kilkadziesiąt sesji warsztatowych na Warmii, w Gietrzwałdzie i Świętej Lipce, dało rozkwit zespołów śpiewaczych, chórów parafialnych i kształtowania posługi organistów w archidiecezji warmińskiej. Obecność warsztatów w dwóch najważniejszych sanktuariach maryjnych na Warmii jest znaczące, a w perspektywie ostatnich lat jest wręcz połączeniem dwóch miejsc, by zaznaczyć istotną rolę Świętej Bożej Rodzicielki Maryi w życiu Kościoła warmińskiego, oraz odpowiedzi współczesnego człowieka wiary na orędzie Matki Bożej z objawień w Gietrzwałdzie w 1877 r.
The purpose of this article is to show the Liturgical and Musical Workshops as an event, that in the last several years in the Polish Church has joined a very important element of Christian formation of church musicians and people who, thanks to the experience of participating in workshops, create music during the liturgy in their parish communities. In the context of the Apostolic Exhortation on catechization in our time of Saint. John Paul II Catechesi tradendae, and the anniversary of its publication, which prompts the return of important content of the teaching of the head of the church, in the phenomenon of workshops the answer to the calls of the Saint Polish Pope can be seen. A call to formation and evangelization, to become a conscious participant in the liturgy, and to shape the testimony of own life. Dozens of workshop sessions in Warmia, Gietrzwałd, and Święta Lipka flourished singing groups, parish choirs, as well as shaped the service of organists in the Archdiocese of Warmia. The presence of workshops in the two most important Marian shrines in Warmia is significant, and in the perspective of recent years, it is a combination of two places to emphasize the important role of the Holy Mother Mary of God in the life of the Warmian Church, and the response of modern person of faith to the proclamation of Theokotos from the apparitions in Gietrzwałd in 1877.

The aim of this paper is to present the grants to employment as the instruments stimulating employment of people with disabilities in the sheltered workshop in Poland in the years 2008-2013. The authoress verifies the effectiveness of these instruments in the employment growth in the sheltered workshops. This tool occurred to be effective in the case of persons with moderate and considerable disability. In the case of persons with light disability, it caused a decrease of their employment.

The aim of this paper is to critically analyze introduced in 2008 changes in the rules of subsidizing employment of people with disabilities and their impact on the sector sheltered workshops and employment of people with disabilities. Subsidies for the employment of people with disabilities, introduced in 2004, provided an important instrument for the support of all employers that employ disabled people. However, the allocation of large sums of sheltered workshops than employers operating in the open labor market, would be compensation for expenditure on the creation of special working conditions and rehabilitation in the sheltered workshops. The reduction of these amounts and equalization grants transferred to sheltered workshops with employers from the open labor market was particularly unfavorable for sheltered employment sector and has become the major cause of the resignation of sheltered workshop of this status.

The Ukrainian resistance security police established in 1940 by S. Bandera and S. Łenkawskyj performed the role of a secret service and counter intelligence agency within Bandera’s faction of the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN). The first security police was commander was M. ¸ebed. From March 1941 he was replaced by M.Arsenych. The hierarchy of the service was closely connected with the hierarchy of OUN. Besides the leadership centre, there were also local departments consisting of two sections: information gathering and investigations. Fighting squads of the security police, which among others arrested people and executed death penalty were reporting to the department empoloyees of each level. Security police members were the most reliable members of OUN. The investigation conducted by OUN security police was merciless. What are known as third degree methods, i.e. torture, was used. In the case of minor offences, security police members thrashed suspects with beech sticks. People sentenced to death were shot or hanged. There were also cases of brutal murders. Between 1943 and 1945 OUN security police took an active part in the slaughter of Polish people. In the years 1945–1948, those Poles who collaborated with the communist government or were actively opposed to the Ukrainian resistance were executed. In practice, executions of Poles were not just limited to those two groups. OUN security police applied the principle of collective responsibility (i.e. killing entire families). At the same time, Ukrainians suspected of collaboration with the communists were also executed. The orders to apply solely the principle of personal responsibility were not given until May 1945. However, entire families were massacred beyond that date. Local OUN security police department employees were entitled to order the execution of a person. They enjoyed practically unlimited prerogatives. As a result, investigations were often brief and resistance members were executed in spite of unsubstantiated charges. The Soviets took advantage of the situation by staging numerous provocations, the result of which was the death of many OUN members wrongly accused of cooperation with the communist security police. OUN security police was law unto itself. The power of the OUN security police chief M. Arsenych (until his death in January 1947) was almost equal to the power of the leader of the Ukrainian National Insurgent Army (UPA). Separate departments of OUN security police survived until 1951 when most of the remaining members of this organisation took over positions as leaders of the OUN underground. The activities of OUN security police stirred a lot of controversy among Ukrainian researchers. On the one hand, they emphasize that the collective responsibility used by the OUN security police OUN discouraged local people from supporting the underground, but on the other they regard the liquidation of communist agents as legitimate.
