Those baptised are fully in the communion of the Catholic Church on this earth who are joined with Christ in its visible structure by the bonds of the profession of faith, the sacraments, and ecclesiastical governance. According to of the Church law, there are three bonds which guarantee a full afilliation with the Church. These are: faith, Sacraments, and Church governance. Undoubtedly, the main criterion which determines affiliation with the Church is Baptism, through which a human being is incorporated into the Church of Christ thus becoming a person in it with obligations and rights.
Su questa terra sono nella piena comunione della Chiesa cattolica quei battezzati che sono congiunti con Cristo nella sua compagine visibile, ossia mediante i vincoli della professione di fede, dei sacramenti e del governo ecclesiastico. Secondo la giurisprudenza della Chiesa esistono tre legami che istituiscono la garanzia della piena appartenenza alla Chiesa. Questi sono: la fede, i sacramenti e il governo ecclesiastico. Senza dubbio il criterio principale determinante l’appartenenza alla Chiesa è il battesimo, attraverso cui l’uomo è incorporato nella Chiesa di Cristo diventando in essa una persona con doveri e diritti.

W obecnym kontekście Kościoła powszechnego „jedyne Corpus Iuris Canonici” staje się konkretną rzeczywistością. Kościół oddycha dwoma płucami, wschodnim i zachodnim. Kanony Kodeksu Kanonów Kościołów Wschodnich uzupełniają Kodeks Kościoła łacińskiego, gdy kanon, który odnosi się do Kościoła sui iuris, ale z kontekstu jasno wynika, że przedmiotowa kwestia dotyczy relacji z Kościołem łacińskim.
In the present context of the Universal Church, “the only Corpus Iuris Canonici” is becoming a concrete reality. The Church breathes with two lungs, one in the East and one in the West. The eastern canons supplement the western canons: they do so when a canon refers either to the Latin Church or a Church sui iuris and the when the context makes it clear that the case concerns relations with the Latin Church.
Nel contesto attuale della Chiesa Universale, “l’unico Corpus Iuris Canonici”, diventa realtà concreta. La Chiesa respira con due polmoni, quello dell’Oriente e dell’Occidente. I canoni orientali forniscono il diritto suppletivo ai canoni occidentali: lo fanno quando un canone si riferisce all’ Ecclesia sui iuris e il testo e il contesto rendono chiaro che la questione implica relazioni con la Chiesa Latina.

Przedmiotem niniejszego artykułu jest zatem analiza soborowego i posoborowego nauczania Kościoła katolickiego oraz toczącej się dyskusji teologicznej na temat wzajemnej relacji Kościoła powszechnego i Kościoła lokalnego.
Although more than half a century has passed since the adoption of the dogmatic constitution on the Church at the Second Vatican Council, a discussion continues in the Catholic Church and in ecumenical discussions about the correct interpretation of the conciliar expression „Ecclesia in et ex Ecclesiis”. The subject of this article, therefore, is an analysis of the conciliar and post-conciliar teaching of the Catholic Church and the ongoing theological discussion on the mutual relationship of the universal Church and the local Church.

The dedication of a Church is not the only rite that is used for the initiation of a new place of Christian worship. At the beginning of the construction of a building, liturgical sources provide for the Rite of Foundation of a Church in which blessings are asked on both the workers and also on the future edifice. This paper gives a comparative analysis of prayers used in the rites of the Byzantine-Greek and Latin traditions. Although both traditions have different theological emphasis they also have similarities too. This study bears fruit in allowing us to create a common ecumenical definition of the church-building arising from these analysed texts – it is the future place of Christian worship which (ἐκκλησία, ecclesia) is a house (οἶκος) constructed (opus) for God, to celebrate His glory (cf. Es 40,34-35; Ez 9,3) in and through the divine mysteries (templum). This place is made by the community of the faithful and it from this same community it takes its name (ἐκκλησία, ecclesia).

Basically, all the argumentative techniques worked out on the rhetorical ground can be used in the communication for the Church. Their usefulness depends on the character of the issues which are considered and the type of the recipients to whom the Church turns to. Quasi-logical arguments order the utterances of the Church paying attention to their coherence, understandability and adequacy. Making use of the definitions particularly generallyrecognized is an expression of honesty and good will of the speaker. A proper application of the rules of justice, mutuality and transitivity allow to strengthen credibility, and relevance and appropriateness of comparisons tell of a format of the speaker. This type of argumentation is essential for the Church which is supposed to convey the objective truth. Its mission is not only to own the truth and defend it but also make it comprehensible for everybody bearing in mind the fact that it is transcendental and endless.

Renewal of the Church with active participation of the laity has given rise to the birth of the basic ecclesial communities (in abbreviation “BEC”), which have become reality in many continents. According to the author, the Church of the Philippines can testify that, following the teaching of the Second Vatican Council and that of the Second Plenary Council of the Philippines, it has begun its renewal through the BEC. They have grown into places of evangelization, of listening and proclaiming the Gospel in parishes and dioceses. The BEC have also become a hope for the universal Church. The BEC differ in shape and structure in rural and urban areas, but when all the agents of the BEC, especially the priests of the parish and the laity, cooperate in the spirit of the Gospel, the renewal is effective and fruitful. All BEC agents are invited at all times and in all places to form a community of the disciples who live in communion, through participation in the mission of Christ as a priestly, prophetic and royal community, in its identity of poverty.

The specific perspective from which the Italian Church moves its reflection on mental health germinates and flourishes within the National Office of Health Pastoral Care of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI) and through the concrete commitment of Caritas. The various themes that will follow have as a common matrix the Conferences of the last fifty years launched by this office, dedicated to the theme “The Italian Church and mental health”. The starting point is that, according to the WHO, the extent of mental suffering is an increasing phenomenon everywhere. An approximate calculation of the incidence of mental distress certifies remarkable figures: about one billion people are currently in a state of mental distress. The National Office for Health Pastoral Care of the CEI in 2017, after years of research and studies, also inaugurated the “National Table on Mental Health” made up of professionals from the world of health, pastoral care and more. The anthropology and the experience of the Church, with regard to the right to health, aims to assume a different and higher vision of rights and teaches that the commitment to promote the life of every man comes before economic and political interests or simply utilitarian that make life “slave”. Starting from the Italian social context, we will try to clarify some fundamental aspects to which the Church is trying to give answers, through pastoral paths that are difficult to implement.

Artykuł podejmuje temat teologii świętości w ujęciu jednego z najwybitniejszych teologów współczesnych, tworzących na emigracji, związanych z paryskim Instytutem św. Sergiusza, Pawła Ewdokimowa. W pierwszej części, w oparciu o Biblię i Tradycję patrystyczną, opisuje jedyną – świętość Boga. Następnie w świętość Boga wprowadza aspekt antropologiczny: człowieka, który według zamysłu swego Stwórcy, zaproszony jest do udziału w świętości Boga. Miejscem odpowiedzi na zaproszenie jest Kościół, w którym każdy ochrzczony realizuje swoje powołanie do świętości.
The article discusses the theology of holiness according to one of the most eminent contemporary Orthodox theologians, working in exile, associated with the Institute of St. Sergius in Paris, Pavel Evdokimov. In the fi rst part, based on the Bible and patristic tradition, the article describes one thing: the holiness of God. Then, it introduces the anthropological aspect of God’s holiness: man, who, according to the intention of his Creator, is invited to participate in His unique holiness. The place of response to the invitation is the Church, where every baptized person realises his or her vocation to holiness.

The Church must continually ask herself how to be a witness of the Gospel to the world in which she lives. In her work of evangelization even today, therefore, the Church must deal with the socio-cultural context that she faces, characterized by an increasingly plural society and by continuous changes that have affected the institution, gestures and tools of the Christian tradition. It is therefore urgent that the Church make a critical reflection on her identity and her pastoral activity and, attentive to the signs of the times, try to review and renew her form and structures, beginning with the parish, a privileged place for the construction of the christian community and her mission. Since the parish is traditionally considered the «home of all», it is the place where the differences that animate the Church are most evident; therefore, it is called to enhance all the ecclesial experiences that arise from the different charisms. The parish and all the associations and groups present in it represent various forms in which the Church is realized. With this article I want to demonstrate that pluriformity in unity can be the form of the Church today, because the more plural and complex the society is, the more the Churchʼs proposal must be pluriform if she wants Christ to reach everyone. Pluriformity shows different forms of the Christian experience that express the unity of the Church. It is therefore an expression of the Churchʼs liveliness and catholicity. It also recalls that the subject of the Churchʼs mission is never the individual, but a community, a reflection of the communio that the Church lives in every part of the world.

Il rapporto tra liturgia e contemplazione è basilare per il vissuto cristiano. La contemplazione, per sua natura, è “misterica”, perché ha come oggetto i misteri salvifici, proclamati dalla Parola, compiuti pienamente nella persona di Cristo, celebrati dalla liturgia. Ogni contemplazione autentica deve nutrirsi della Parola proclamata e della celebrazione dei misteri della Salvezza. D'altronde, ogni liturgia è ordinata alla contemplazione come alla propria perfezione, non per cessare di essere liturgia, ma per diventare liturgia contemplativa. Il nostro articolo cerca di mettere in luce il rapporto inscindibile tra questi due aspetti che formano il “modo di essere cristiano”. Questo rapporto garantisce, allo stesso tempo, l'autenticità della contemplazione e la fruttuosità della partecipazione alla celebrazione liturgica.
Relacja między liturgią a kontemplacją jest fundamentalna dla życia chrześcijańskiego. Kontemplacja ze swej natury jest „tajemnicą”, ponieważ ma za przedmiot głoszone przez Słowo tajemnice zbawcze, które wypełniają się w pełni w Osobie Chrystusa, sprawowane w liturgii. Każda autentyczna kontemplacja powinna być karmiona głoszonym Słowem i celebracją tajemnic zbawienia. Z drugiej strony, każda liturgia jest skierowana na kontemplację własnej doskonałości tak, aby nie przestała być liturgią, ale stała się liturgią kontemplacyjną. Artykuł stara się podkreślić nierozerwalny związek między tymi dwoma aspektami, które składają się na „sposób bycia chrześcijaninem”. Relacja ta gwarantuje jednocześnie autentyczność kontemplacji i owocność uczestnictwa w celebracji liturgicznej. Il rapporto tra liturgia e contemplazione è basilare per il vissuto cristiano. The relationship between liturgy and contemplation is fundamental to Christian living. Of its very nature, contemplation is concerns the mystery, because its object is the mysteries of salvation proclaimed in the Word of God, fulfilled in the person of Christ, and celebrated in the liturgy. Authentic contemplation has to be nourished by the Word proclaimed and by the celebration of the mysteries of salvation. Moreover, all liturgy is ordered towards contemplation as to its proper perfection − not so as to stop being liturgy, but to become contemplative liturgy. Our article seeks to highlight the inseparable bond between these two components of Christian existence, a bond guarantees both the authenticity of contemplation and the fruitfulness of participation in the liturgical celebration.

Opis:
Big activity passed Popes, with the least Francis Bergoglio, is a question about reception their lives and action, especially in times of modern medium broadcasting. Sometimes presented content could be treated as sensation, and their receptiveness deprived of profound historical and theological meaning. This article depends of beginnings of the Church, when it started to organize itself, with well known historically-theological arguments. Peter confessed Jesus as the Christ and got special place among Apostles. His role matures in young Church community, which is escaping from Jewish religion. Peter tramps the way from Jerusalem thru Antioch to Rome, confirming his appointing to the first among Apostles and to being Rock in the Church. Nascent Rome Church keeps this special Peter’s succession. Clement, bishop of Rome, shows his prerogatives as a successor of Peter. Later, bishop of Cartagena, Cyprian, confirms special role both Peter and each bishop of Rome among other bishops. He also was finding appropriate role for each of them. Church institution, based on Peter and Apostles persists and shows truth of the beginnings and faithfulness to them in nowadays papacy. Methodological elements Presented in the introduction let for the lecture of Gospel and patristic texts without positivistic prejudices presented in old literature of the subject.
