Das Motiv des Briefes prägt die Gedichte, Prosa und Autobiografien Helga M. Novaks. Im Nachlass im Deutschen Literaturarchiv Marbach stellen die Korrespondenzen der Autorin den zentralen und quantitativ größten Teil dar. Der folgende Aufsatz zeigt, auf welche Weise sich das Briefeschreiben und das literarische Schreiben bei Helga M. Novak bedingen und inwiefern das Medium Brief als Ausdruck einer Konstellation zu deuten ist, die für das Schaffen der Autorin als signifikant gelten kann.
The motif of the letter characterises Helga M. Novak’s poems, prose and autobiographies. In her posthumous papers at the German Literature Archive in Marbach personal correspondence represents the main and largest part of this collection. The following paper shows the connection of letter-writing and literary writing in Novak’s opus and how letters appear as a significant influence on the author‘s work. - Źródło:
