The importance of transport for sustainable development has become significant at the UN conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro as early as 1992. In the United Nations 2030 Agenda, which contains a total of 17 sustainability goals, sustainable transport has been anchored as a cross-cutting theme. In particular, emissions associated with transport are a problem for the sustainable development goals and have to be reduced. The objective of this paper is to analyze transport-related indicators in relation to sustainable development in the period from 2005 to 2016 at the national level. The method of secondary analysis is used. The results demonstrate only one indicator corresponding to the goal of sustainable development. However, two indicators do not correspond to a sustainable development in the considered period. Thus, appropriate measures have become necessary for these particular facts promoting a sustainable development.

Der Artikel beschäftigt sich mit der Verhältnisbestimmung von Reformation und Protestantismus mit der spezifisch deutschen Kategorie der „Bildung“ und mit deren engem Zusammenhang. Die Kategorie der „Bildung“ hat ihre Wurzeln in den reformatorischen Unterscheidungen. Im Detail geht es 1. um das moderne Konzept von Subjektivität, 2. um das moderne Verständnis von persönlicher und historischer Entwicklung und 3. um das moderne Verständnis von Beruflichkeit und um deren Verbindung mit dem evangelischen Sakraments- und Bibelverständnis.
The article deals with the relationship between reformation, Protestantism and the special pedagogical German category of “Bildung”. Protestantism and “Bildung” cannot be separated. “Bildung” has its roots in the differentiations of reformation. More precisely these are 1. modern subjectivity, 2. the modern understanding of human and historical development and 3. the modern concept of “profession” that is linked with the Protestant mode of using the sacraments and Holy Scripture.

Mit dem Beitritt der neuen Mitgliedsstaaten im Mai 2004 werden die Disparitäten zwischen den Ländern, aber auch zwischen den Regionen in der Europäischen Union um einiges größer werden. Es betrifft sowohl Beschäftigung nach Sektor, Arbeitslosenquote als auch Pro-Kopf-BIP. Es wird die Regionaldifferenzierung auf der Grundlage von diesen Kennzahlen zusammen für alle Regionen, sowie getrennt für jedes Land der Gemeinschaft bestimmt.
W artykule przedstawiono wyniki porównania zróżnicowania regionalnego rolnictwa w państwach Unii Europejskiej Analizie poddano następujący zestaw wskaźników społeczno-ekonomicznych: udział zatrudnionych w poszczególnych działach gospodarki narodowej w zatrudnionych ogółem w gospodarce, stopę bezrobocia oraz PKB per capita. Stwierdzono, że Unia Europejska charakteryzuje się bardzo dużym zróżnicowaniem międzyregionalnym rolnictwa w gospodarce, zarówno w ujęciu poszczególnych państw jak i w ujęciu regionalnym. Istotne różnice w występują pomiędzy bardziej rozwiniętymi regionami państw części północno-zachodniej Unii Europejskiej i słabszymi – części południowej, w których rolnictwo posiada znaczący udział w gospodarce narodowej.

RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: The aim of the paper is to show that the concept of diversity has much more implications for schools and education than commonly assumed. THE RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODOLOGY: Based on an evaluation research study (formative and summative) involving 20 schools at the elementary and secondary level, which have undergone a federal process of professional development findings are presented, which indicate that we need to be more strategic in terms of our research practices and dissemination when it comes to diversity. THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION The paper introduces the concept of a critical theory of professional development in education, which includes the conceptual history approach and post structural points of view. The findings of an evaluation research study are then analysed. The exploration of the connections between diversity discourses and the challenges of the daily organisational and pedagogical routines completes the analysis. RESEARCH RESULTS: For the results show that diversity management is becoming more and more of an issue. Further crucial points seem to be media relations and the competition between schools. CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Strengthening the competence of everybody involved and enabling transfer of knowledge is the key. Instead research tends to confront players with what they don’t know and can’t handle, often classifying their working approaches in an offensive way rather then supporting them by acknowledging their expertise in first place. The principles of word formation have been employed for a considerable period of time. In the contemporary German word formation numerous doubts are expressed concerning the correctness of newly formed words, but languages are constantly developing and some expressions which were previously considered incorrect are now accepted as a norm. The development tendencies of the language constitute its driving force. It should be observed that apart from two basic trends in the development of word formation, i.e. the propensity for abbreviating and the tendency to make information precise, a third trend can be added, namely the automatic use of derivational techniques. More specifically, the creation of derivatives out of native word-forming elements consists merely in their mechanical combining, while any complications are eliminated. It should also be stressed that in the contemporary German abbreviations are created on a mass scale. In addition, the specific nature of the German language consists in its having two parallel word-forming systems: the native word-forming system and the borrowed word-forming system which is based on borrowings from other languages, especially on English word-forming patterns. The contemporary German language borrows from the English language not only suffixes and prefixes, but also morphologically unchanged simple and complex lexemes which are then used to form direct elements of compounds, derivatives and conversions. In the process of composition, the borrowed words get combined both with one another and with the native units. The considerations I have included in my article provide enough evidence to support the claim that the problems connected with word formation are still fashionable and inspire a lot of research. The German language lives, changes, responds to the dominant globalizing tendencies, which is also observable in the field of word formation.

Morphological developments of Indo-European languages are known, but not formulated as laws: the loss of dual, of some cases and of the neuter, the change of root stems into the class of vocalic stems, the loss of the subjunctive, and the convergence of perfect and aorist, the replacement of the synthetic mediopassive by analytic categories. The established criteria of the kinship between related language families or of the degree of kinship between two languages or within a group are morphological and lexical commonalities. Whereas lexemes are often borrowed, idioms are borrowed only between closely related languages. Grammatical categories can be created corresponding to patterns of neighbouring languages. Phonological borrowings are rare.

The 27the Edition of The Duden German Dictionary and Its Secrets: A Characteristics of the Specific Nature of Selected New Entries Duden – an orthographic dictionary of German language – is updated each three to five years, because this is the time period in which enough lexical changes take place to be enumerated and described. On the basis of a representative list of new entries in the latest Duden, conclusions are drawn in this article concerning the most recent German vocabulary. The specific nature of the new lexical items is commented upon as well as the most recent tendencies in the German language, the direction in which it is heading and the degree to which the development of the language is correlated with the development of the society and its priorities in the given timeframe and context. Furthermore, an important goal of the present article is to examine the ways in which vocabulary reflects the changes in our attitudes/communication behaviours.

Einführung und Ziele: Das landwirtschaftliche Beratungssystem in Deutschland wie auch in den anderen europäischen Ländern wird sich künftig noch stärker an der Marktentwicklung orientieren müssen, das bedeutet, dass mehr Anbieter und damit Auswahlmöglichkeiten für die Landwirte bestehen. Das erfordert u. a. die Entwicklung tragfähiger Qualitätsstandards, flexible Beratungsangebote und ein ausgewogenes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. In der Bundesrepublik Deutschland liegt die landwirtschaftliche Beratung in der Verantwortung der einzelnen Bundesländer. Neben staatlichen Behörden, Landwirtschaftskammern, privaten Beratungsbüros bieten Fachverbände sowie spezielle Beratungsringe, aber auch Firmen der Vorleistungsbereiche landwirtschaftliche Beratung an. Eine einheitliche Ausbildung zum Landwirtschaftlichen Fachberater und verbindliche Qualitätsstandards gibt es derzeit nicht. Material und Methoden: Schreibmaterial zur Verfügung. Analyse des Themas auf der Grundlage der Literatur. Ergebnisse: Derzeit gibt es keine Ausbildung für landwirtschaftliche Berater und verbindliche Qualitätsstandards einschließlich der landwirtschaftlichen Erweiterung. Anwendung: Der Aufbau und die Nutzung von Netzwerken als soziale Infrastruktur mit den unterschiedlichsten Akteuren im ländlichen Raum und deren Ressourcen im Sinne einer existenzsichernden Wertschöpfung zunehmend an Bedeutung.
Introduction and aim: The emergence and development of the farm advisory system in Germany, as well as in other European Union countries in the future will be more focused on the development of the market which means that the creation of more suppliers and thus increase the opportunities for farmers. This means that sustainable development standards of quality, flexible provision of advisory services and balanced reporting price-capacity production. In Germany, the agricultural advisory service is the responsibility of the land countries. In addition to government agencies, Chambers of Agriculture and specialized consulting firms lack the companies that provide professional advisory services. Material and methods: Writing material available. Analysis of the theme on the basis of literature. Results: Currently there is no training for agricultural consultants and binding quality standards including agricultural extension. Conclusion: Construction and use of the network in terms of social infrastructure of the various stakeholders in the rural areas and their resources in terms of daily earnings are increasingly important.

The article aims to introduce the formal development of the verb tun (“do, make”) in the German language, based on the corpuses of old (http://titus.uni-frankfurt.de/indexe.htm), middle (https:// www.linguistics.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/rem/) and modern-new-high-German language (https://korpora.zim.uni-duisburg-essen.de/Fnhd/). However, the morphological analysis is primarily based on Józef Darski’s (1987, 2004, 2010) innovative model of linguistic analysis which, due to its synchronic character, has been adopted in diachronic research. The verb forms of tun, prone to modifications owing to multiple processes depending on both the stage of development and the language as a paradigm, reveal its capability of adaptation to the two basic classes of verbs, i.e. strong verbs and/or weak verbs and their subclasses. Additionally, it is possible to observe the processes of homogenization of the verb forms within a given paradigm and among the forms of distinct paradigms, mainly to stabilise them.

The large number of refugees in Ukraine is changing the charitable commitment in Poland and Germany. Institutional Caritas is responding with special programmes to support volunteers who work with refugees. These measures stand for a new volunteerism, for a changed civil society in both countries, but also for a church development out of social responsibility.

This paper presents the methodological approach and results of the European project LSP-Teacher Training Summer School (TRAILs), which aims to develop an innovative LSP teacher training. The training curriculum developed in 2018–2020 and tested in 2021, emerged as a result of identified gaps between existing and required LSP teacher education. The following contribution intends to present the methodical way to identify these gaps. It starts from an analysis of the existing training programmes in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Then, the needs of the LSP teacher in tertiary education are discussed. Finally, a scheme is discussed according to which the comparison between the ACTUAL STATE and the TARGET STATE was made. The discrepancies demonstrated between the LSP teacher training and the actual training needs stated by LSP teachers participating in the project make it possible to define areas of LSP teaching which can be supplemented with concrete contents and activities. They then serve as a starting point for the development of an initial and in-service training curriculum for experienced and pre-service LSP teachers. The scheme presented is universal and can also be transferred to other research projects that aim to update the existing training curricula or introduce new solutions.
In dem Beitrag werden die methodische Herangehensweise und die Teilergebnisse des europäischen Projekts „LSP-Teacher Training Summer School“ (TRAILs)1 vorgestellt, das darauf abzielt, ein innovatives Lehrerausbildungscurriculum im Bereich Fachsprachen zu entwickeln. Das 2018–2020 erarbeitete und 2021 getestete Curriculum zur fachsprachlichen Lehrerausbildung entstand als Resultat der festgestellten Lücken zwischen der bestehenden und der erforderlichen Fach(fremd) sprachen-ehrerausbildung. Mit dem folgenden Beitrag wird beabsichtigt, den methodischen Weg zur Identifizierung dieser Lücken darzustellen. Ausgegangen wird von der Analyse der bestehenden Ausbildungsprogramme im Europäischen Hochschulraum (EHEA). Anschließend werden die Bedürfnisse der Fachsprachenlehrkraft im tertiären Bildungsbereich behandelt, die infolge einer umfassenden Umfrage unter der Fachsprachenlehrenden in Europa erzielt wurden. Abschließend wird ein Schema besprochen, nach dem der Vergleich zwischen dem IST-ZUSTAND und dem SOLLZUSTAND erfolgte. Die nachgewiesenen Diskrepanzen zwischen der untersuchten Lehrerausbildung im Bereich der Fachsprachendidaktik und den von der Fachsprachenlehrkraft genannten Ausbildungsbedürfnissen ermöglichen, Bereiche der fachbezogenen Fremdsprachendidaktik festzulegen, die mit konkreten Inhalten und Aktivitäten ergänzt werden. Sie dienen dann als Ausgangspunkt für die Erarbeitung eines Aus- und Fortbildungslehrplans für erfahrene und angehende Fachsprachenlehrende. Das präsentierte Schema ist universal und kann auch auf andere Forschungsvorhaben übertragen werden, die die Aktualisierung und Modernisierung der bestehenden Ausbildungslehrpläne bzw. Einführung eines neuen zum Ziel haben.
