    In diesem Beitrag wird im Kontext der sprachbezogenen Diskursforschung das Konzept der Diskursgemeinschaft in der digitalen Transformation diskutiert. Unter einer systemtheoretischen Deutung von Digitalisierung wird das Verständnis von 'Diskursgemeinschaft' vertieft. Diese neue Sichtweise erlaubt es, mit Hilfe von Bezügen zur Grundlagenforschung und zur angewandten Diskurslinguistik analoge und digitale Ansätze zu Diskursgemeinschaften analytisch zu trennen. Der Artikel zeigt grundlegende Unterschiede in der Modellierung des Konzepts 'Diskursgemeinschaft' auf der Basis theoretischer und methodologischer Positionen auf.
    This article discusses the concept of discourse community in the context of language-related discourse research in the digital transformation. In a system-theoretical interpretation of digitalization, the understanding of 'discourse community' can become more profound. This new insight allows to analytically separate analog approaches and digital approaches to discourse communities with references to basic research and applied discourse linguistics. The article points out fundamental differences in the modeling of the concept of 'discourse community' based on theoretical and methodological positions.

    On Complex Adverbial Forms from a Contrasting Point of View In this article, adverbials and their complex forms are discussed. Against the background of the semantic and formal classification of adverbials, an answer to the question is given by which forms the individual types of adverbials are represented at all and which forms can be replaced by which other forms, taking into account the specifics of each transformation. These questions are viewed from a contrasting point of view, highlighting commonalities and differences between German, English and Polish.

    Mit dem Begriff der Transformation werden die sichtbaren Veränderungen in Gesellschaft und Kirche in Deutschlands charakterisiert. Der Beitrag gibt eine Einführung in ein Verständnis von Transformation und zeigt, in welchen (exemplarischen) pastoralen Herausforderungen diese sich konkret zeigen. Es wird verdeutlicht, dass eine Transformation nur über eine innere Haltungsänderung vollzogen werden kann, für die der Aufsatz pastorale Möglichkeiten nennt.
    The term transformation is used to characterise the visible changes in the society and the church in Germany. The article gives an introduction to an understanding of transformation and shows in which (exemplary) pastoral challenges this is concretely manifested. It is made clear that transformation can only be achieved through an inner change of attitude, for which the article lists pastoral possibilities.

    The article first outlines Edmund Husserl’s idea of “complete transformation” (völlige Umwendung) and the philosophy of “the turn” (Kehre) of Martin Heidegger. In the following chapter it is shown that you can understand both Husserl as well as Heidegger in the light of “the essential turn” in the German mysticism of the fourteenth century. In this way it becomes clear that Husserl’s idea of a “complete transformation” seems to be a forgotten “mystical” impetus of phenomenology, which was much more realized by Martin Heidegger than by Husserl. In this way Heidegger’s philosophy of “the turn” appears as an important modern approach of the mystical philosophy of transformation.

    Niniejszy artykuł należy rozumieć jako próbę szkicu inwentaryzującego rozwój Europy od czasu zmian z końca lat 80. i początku 90. ubiegłego stulecia. Na pierwszym planie znajduje się wschodnia, postkomunistyczna część kontynentu w kontekście niemieckiej polityki europejskiej w tamtym okresie. Podkreślone zostały różne czynniki, które korzystnie wpłynęły na rozwój systemów demokratycznych i wolnorynkowych oraz ich konsolidację. Poza determinantami historycznymi, politycznymi ekonomicznymi i kulturalnymi, szczególna rola została przypisana trzem czynnikom: po pierwsze integracyjno-instytucjonalnemu celowi ważnych aktorów sceny zachodnioeuropejskiej ze spojrzeniem na zjednoczoną Europę i wpływem tego na politykę Unii Europejskiej; związanej z tym, po drugie, perspektywie członkostwa w Unii Europejskiej krajów postkomunistycznych; i po trzecie, faktycznemu brakowi alternatywy dla rozwoju demokracji i gospodarki rynkowej po upadku komunizmu. Inaczej, niż w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej, przebiegały procesy transformacji w tych regionach i krajach, w których elity postkomunistyczne przyjmowały za nadrzędny cel nation building na podstawie braku etnicznej homogeniczności.Na tym tle artykuł naświetla specyficzną rolę, jaką odegrała Republika Federalna Niemiec zarówno podczas respektywnych procesów rozwojowych w Europie Wschodniej, jak i w dziedzinie polityki rozszerzenia i pogłębienia integracji europejskiej. Naznaczone instytucjonalnie impulsy, strategie i działania niemieckiej polityki zagranicznej przyczyniły się w znacznym stopniu do zorientowania jednostek polityki wewnętrznej i zewnętrznej państw Europy Zachodniej i Wschodniej na wspólne cele oraz skoncentrowania się wokół wspólnego kanonu wartości. Proces ten pojmowany jest jako realizacja powstałej po II wojnie światowej kultury politycznej Europy, naznaczonej przez niemiecką kulturę polityki zagranicznej takimi cechami, jak multilateralizm, panowanie prawa i instytucjonalizacja stosunków międzynarodowych oraz integracja.Konsolidacja Europy nie jest zakończona. Jednakże Unia Europejska od zakończenia czasów dwubiegunowości, stanowi skuteczne ramy dla realizacji takich celów jak pokój, bezpieczeństwo, poszanowanie praw człowieka i dobrobyt. Jest to - jako podsumowanie przemyśleń - ważny wkład do stworzenia postkomunistycznego i postbipolamego porządku świata.

    This article examines the processes of transformation of European societies in XXI century, taking into consideration especially factors of post-modernity, globalisation and strong social changes. Post-modernity affects all societies, but particularly those new societies in transition. Authors take the broad concept of ‘post-modernity’ as being important for all societies that have experienced transformation in their political, social, cultural, economic, educational and religious spheres following a political shift from socialist to democratic government. The processes of social transformation affect people living in them strongly, in particular in their identity and relationships.

    Mein Beitrag vergleicht die Formen und Funktionen von erzählten Prozessen der Verwandlung in drei aufeinanderfolgenden ,Kernerzählungen‘ aus Wilhelm Hauffs „Märchen-Almanach“ von 1827 und ihre anthropologisch-zoologischen, kulturpoetisch-ethischen sowie ästhetisch-poetologischen Implikationen an der Epochenschwelle zwischen Spätromantik und Frührealismus: Im Zwerg Nase-Märchen werden menschliche Figuren durch magische Sprechakte in Tiere und ,Zwerge‘ verwandelt, in Der Affe als Mensch verwandelt sich eine tierische Figur durch ein Erziehungs- und Bildungsprogramm in einen Menschen. Im Abner-Märchen schließlich ,verwandelt‘ sich der Protagonist metaphorisch in einen Erzähler, sodass diese dritte Erzählung wie ein verbindender metapoetischer Kommentar zu den anderen fungiert, indem sie die subversive Kraft improvisatorischen, situationsinadäquaten Erzählens thematisiert.
    My contribution analyses and compares the forms and functions of narrative themes of ‘mutation’ in three key tales of Wilhelm Hauff ’s 1827 “Fairy Tale Almanac”, as well as their anthropological, zoological, ethical, and poetological implications, which are characteristic of the threshold between late Romanticism and early Realism: In Nose, The Dwarf, human characters are transformed into animals and ‘dwarfs’ through speech acts of magic, whereas The Ape as Human stages the transformation of an animal character into a human being through training and education. The Abner tale finally presents the (self-)transformation of its protagonist into an improvisatory narrator and functions as a metapoetic commentary on the subversive potential of ‘inappropriate’ narration.

    Geschichten von Feen und Meerjungrauen zählen zu den poetischen Universalien. Der hier vorliegende Beitrag will die Forschungen zum Melusine/Undine-Motiv erweitern und einen neuen Akzent setzen. Der Fokus wird au die Epochendierenz im Hinblick au die Mischwesen und ihre Funktion in der Narration gelegt. Ziel des interdisziplinär konzipierten Beitrags ist es, Dierenzen und Konvergenzen in der Literarisierung des Melusinenstoes im Mittelalter und in der Romantik darzustellen. Die Analyse wird au den Zusammenhang zwischen den exten und au epochentypische Facetten eingehen. Gesucht wird sowohl nach unabhängigen Parallelen als auch nach möglichen Rezeptionsstrategien.
    Histories of fairies and mermaids are among the poetic universals. The article aims to expand the research on the Melusine/Undine-motif and present it from a new perspective. Te emphasis is placed on how the mythical creatures are presented in various literary and cultural periods. The interdisciplinary contribution aims to present differences and convergences in the presentation of the Melusine motif in the Middle Ages and the Romantic period. The analysis in the article will deal with the context of the texts and features or the two cultural periods. It is looking for independent parallels as well as possible reception strategies.

    W 2012 r. austriacki reżyser i scenarzysta JULIAN ROMAN PÖLSLER nakręcił adaptację swej „książki życia”, powieści MARLEN HAUSHOFER Die Wand (Ściana) z 1963 roku. PÖLSLER zamierzał wiernie oddać powieść, zdecydował się wobec tego na zastosowanie metody voice-over. Spowodowało to gruntowną krytykę filmu, który nazwany został „zobrazowanym słuchowiskiem”. Recenzenci twierdzili, że adaptacja nie jest w żadnym stopniu oryginalna. Artykuł przeciwstawia się tym tezom i podkreśla własny wkład reżysera w interpretację powieści. Tekst powieści porównany jest z adaptacją filmową i omówiona jest funkcja różnic między literacką i filmową wersją utworu.
    In 2012 the Austrian screenwriter and film director JULIAN ROMAN PÖLSLER adapted his “life book”, MARLEN HAUSHOFERʼS novel The Wall, first published in 1963, for the screen. Because PÖLSLER wanted to stay faithful to the novel, he decided to use Voice-over, which was strongly criticized. As a result the film was attacked for being merely “a well-illustrated audiobook”. Reviewers claimed the production was devoid of originality. In contrast, the article tries to point to the personal input of the film director in the interpretation of the source text, through a comparison between film and novel; and also analyses the function of differences between film and literary versions in terms of the film’s structure.
    2012 verfilmte der österreichische Drehbuchautor und Regisseur JULIAN ROMAN PÖLSLER sein ‚Lebensbuch‘ Die Wand, MARLEN HAUSHOFERS 1963 erschienenen Roman. Da PÖLSLER sich exakt an die Romanvorlage halten wollte, entschied er sich für den Einsatz des Voice-overs, die ihm massive Kritik seitens der Filmtheoretiker einbrachte. Dem Film wurde in der Folge als ‚Hörbuch mit Bildern‘ jegliche Originalität abgesprochen. Daher setzt sich dieser Beitrag zum Ziel, durch den Vergleich des Films mit der Romanvorlage den persönlichen Beitrag des Regisseurs zur Deutung des Romans hervorzuheben, wobei auch auf die Funktion der Unterschiede des Films im Vergleich zum Roman im Filmgefüge eingegangen wird.

    Mikhail Minakov, DIE UMGESTALTUNG DES KOLLEKTIVEN GEDÄCHNISSES. DIE IDEOLOGISCHE FUNKTION DES UKRAINISCHEN INSTITUTS FÜR NATIONALES GEDÄCHNIS IN 2014-2017. „PORÓWNANIA” 1 (24), 2019. T. XXIV, S. 31-43. ISSN 1733-165X. Nach dem Euromaidan entwickelte sich die Ukraine widersprüchlich. Neben der Demokratisierung und Europäisierung verbreiteten sich auch konservative Ideologien und Einschränkungen der bürgerlichen Freiheiten. Diese letzteren Tendenzen waren mit dem Versuch verbunden, ein ideologisches Monopol (ein System der ideologischen Kontrolle, das in der UdSSR existierte und in den Dekommunisierungsprozessen von 1989-91) im Interesse der heutigen herrschenden Gruppen zu etablieren. Eine der Institutionen, die die Möglichkeit der Wiederbelebung des ideologischen Monopols ergänzen, ist das Ukrainische Institut für Nationales Gedächtnis. In diesem Text argumentiert der Autor, dass sich das Institut nach mehreren Reformen zwischen 2006 und 2018 zu einer staatlichen Einrichtung entwickelt hat, die konservative Kulturpolitik und eine Politik der illiberalen Identität betreibt, die die staatsbürgerliche demokratische Konsolidierung der Ukraine untergräbt. Anhand der Analyse der politischen Rolle und der bisherigen Erfolge des Instituts gelangt der Autor zu dem Schluss, dass die derzeitige Kulturpolitik und die Organisationspraktiken des Instituts ein neues postsowjetisches ideologisches Instrumentarium geschaffen haben, mit dem Machteliten effektiv ein konservatives ideologisches Monopol in der Ukraine aufbauen können.
    Mikhail Minakov, TRANSFORMATION OF THE COLLECTIVE MEMORY. THE IDEOLOGICAL FUNCTION OF THE UKRAINIAN INSTITUTE OF NATIONAL MEMORY IN2014-2017. “PORÓWNANIA” 1 (24), 2019. Vol. XXIV, P. 31-43. ISSN 1733-165X. The post-Euromaidan’s Ukraine has developed in a contradictory way: together with democratization and Europeanization, there was also a spread of conservative ideologies and limitation of civic freedoms. The latter tendencies were connected with the attempts at establishing ideological monopoly— a system of ideological control that existed in USSR and disappeared in the decommunization processes of 1989-91—in the interests of nowadays’ ruling groups. One of those institutions adding to the possibility of revival of the ideological monopoly is the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory. In this paper, the author argues that after several reforms between 2006 and 2018, theInstitute evolved into a state body providing conservative cultural policies and illiberal identity policies undermining Ukraine’s civic democratic consolidation. Based on the analysis of the Institute’s political role and achievements so far, the author concludes that the current cultural policies and organizational practices of the Institute (and similar organizations) have created a new post-Soviet ideological toolkit enabling power elites to effectively establish conservative ideological monopoly in Ukraine.
