Im Artikel wird die Lage der Germanistik in Polen nach der politischen Wende 1989 skizziert; es wird gezeigt, dass sich die sog. traditionelle Germanistik zu einer „angewandten“ Germanistik hin entwickelt, um den Anforderungen der globalen Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft zu entsprechen. Der Autor weist auf einige neue Forschungsfelder (Pragmalinguistik, Politolinguistik, Fachsprachen) hin und bespricht die Fachliteratur in diesen Subdisziplinen.
The paper deals with the situation of German philology in Poland after the political changes of 1989. It describes how the so-called traditional German philology has developed into sort of “applied German studies” complying with the requirements of global society and economy. The author points to some new fields of inquiry such as pragmalinguistics, political communication, languages for special purposes, and provides an overview of current specialist literature in these sub-disciplines. - Źródło:
