    [...]Since Adam Smith the main point of market economics is realizing market equilibriums. The market equilibrium is coming out by competition on the market like the guidance by an “invisible hand”. But a lot of economists are not sure, that the “invisible hand” is able to lead to market equilibriums. The economists believe that interventions (regulations) by the state are necessary to come to market equilibriums. The discussion among economists led to a dispute about market or state respectively competition or cooperation. One pike of the discussion led in German transport theory and policy to the slogan “cooperation instead of competition”. This slogan was used in the area of transport minister Leber (1966–1972) and the famous Leber-Plan.[...]

    W artykule przedstawiono założenia projektu nowelizacji rozporzadzenia dotyczącego oszczędności energii w Niemczech.
    European Member States shall ensure that, when buildings are constructed, sold or rented out, an energy performance certificate is made available to the owner or by the owner to the prospective buyer or tenant, as the case might be. According to the German Energy Saving Regulations Energy Performance Certificates can be based on measured energy consumption or on calculated energy use. The lecture gives information about the procedures, the qualification of the persons who are certifying the buildings and the expected cost of the certificate.

    Blessed Jurgis Matulaitis, the revival of the Marian monastery, established a new womenʼs monastery – Congregation of the Poor Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1918, which was approved by those days Bishop Antanas Karosas on October 15of the same year. The regulations of the monastery were also approved at that time. The purpose of this congregation was to help the little ones, so the nuns among people were soon called simply the Sisters of the Poor. The thoughts of the Desert Fathers and the experience of their monastic life are very much in harmony with the Congregation statements of the Poor Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The monastery, having preserved the basic principles of the monastic spirituality formed in the Egyptian desert – solitude, asceticism and prayer – implemented them in new times and under new conditions, but no longer with drawn from society, but having created a kind of desert oasis surrounded by people.

    In diesem Artikel geben die Autoren einen kurzen Überblick über aktuelle und zukünftige Vorschriften in Deutschland und der Europäischen Union für klinische Studien für Humanarzneimittel. Sie diskutieren auch kurz die Bedeutung des Datenschutzrechts sowie internationaler Standards und Richtlinien für die ordnungsgemäße Durchführung klinischer Studien.
    In this paper, the authors provide a quick overview of current and future legislation operating in Germany and the European Union which regulates clinical research into medical devices intended for human use. It also briefly discusses the importance of data protection provisions and the relevance of international standards and guidelines for proper performance of clinical research.
