L'Internet représente un moyen de relier les êtres humains, de créer un monde virtuel où le partage des informations est, pratiquement, illimité. Le mouvement du logiciel libre (le free software mouvement) a créé aussi le concept de culture libre et même un courant de pensée qui se fonde sur des valeurs telles la liberté d'expression ou le partage du savoir. La culture hacker est parue aux années 70-80 et s'est développée dans les décennies suivantes comme une alternative à cette culture libre, un réseau informatique délocalisé qui reliait, au début, plusieurs universités américaines. À l'origine, un hacker était un programmateur informatique débrouillard, une personne curieuse qui adorait explorer les détails des programmes et leurs capacités. De nos jours ce nom est devenu péjoratif et synonyme avec "pirate informatique". Nous nous proposons une réflexion sur l'activité de ces personnes, sur leur éthique, à partir de nombreux cas de la Roumanie. Pour le déroulement de notre recherche nous avons utilisé les données secondaires extraites de quelques interviews publiés dans les journaux roumains, puis nous avons fait appel à l'analyse de leur contenu pour découvrir les stratégies relationnelles pratiquées, les tactiques et les comportements usuels adoptés. Exceptant l'aspect pénal de certaines activités des hackers, ceux-ci mettent l'accent sur leur désir d'accès libre à l'information, de transparence. Le hacking est une infraction, mais est-ce qu'il pourrait représenter une conception nouvelle qui considère le savoir comme un bien public? L'śuvre de l'esprit est produite et appartient à la communauté mondiale, la communauté est en droit d'avoir un accès universel à ce savoir et c'est la coopération des individus qui stimule la création de nouveaux savoirs. Est-ce qu'on pourrait considérer le hacking une espèce de "destruction créative" (J. Schumpeter) qui déclencherait "la veille anticipative" (H. Lesca) des organisations ou des personnes visées par l'activité des hackers? Sont-ils les anarchistes de la société postmoderne?

In the first part of the article the author refers to opinions on the reasons for the decrease in readership among young people, including academic students. The development of new technologies, the Internet, and life focused mainly on the present moment do not encourage a reflection necessary to deal with a literary masterpiece. It is impossible to stop those changes in students’ attitude, which does not mean that we should give up proposing them texts to read, during classes of French history and culture. In the second part, the author shares her experience and thoughts conceived as a result of the analysis of source texts and song lyrics, foremost poetic ones.

Greeting someone with a Hello!, or finishing a letter with Sincerely, Yours truly, seems very easy for a native speaker. These expressions, basic in ordinary life communication, entail a lot of constraints noticeable only when we must use them in a foreign language. Although seemingly simple in terms of content, form and context of ordinary life when they are employed, these utterances are very singular. They are ritually emitted in common situations to which they are prototypically associated.
Saluer quelqu’un par un Bonjour !, ou finir une lettre par Cordialement, Bien à vous, semble très facile pour un locuteur natif. Ces expressions qui sont basiques dans la communication de la vie courante entraînent beaucoup de contraintes dont on ne s’aperçoit que lorsqu’on doit les utiliser dans une langue étrangère. Ces énoncés qui ont l’air d’une grande simplicité du point de vue de leur contenu, de leur forme et des contextes de la vie ordinaire dans lesquels ils s’emploient sont très singuliers. Ils sont rituellement émis dans des situations courantes auxquelles ils sont prototypiquement associés.

The second part reflects on how to practice it in order to meet the ethical challenges of our digital culture.

This paper is intended to be an analytical study of African identity and culture in Mongo Beti’s Completed Mission. It aims to shed light on the specificity of this society, the place that the individual occupies there and the transformations that it suffered with the arrival of the colonizer. It focuses first of all on the characters of the novel and their attributions in order to know how the social group, to which these entities belong, is constituted, structured and hierarchized. It then reconstructs the cultural aspects of black man’s life as suggested by the text.
Cet article se veut une étude analytique de l’identité et de la culture africaine dans Mission terminée de Mongo Beti. Il a pour objectif de faire la lumière sur la spécificité de cette société, la place que l’individu y occupe et les transformations qu’elle a subies avec l’arrivée du colonisateur. Il est centré d’abord sur les personnages du roman et leurs attributions afin de savoir comment est constitué, structuré et hiérarchisé le groupe social auquel appartiennent ces entités. Il reconstitue ensuite les aspects culturels de la vie de l’homme noir tels qu’ils sont suggérés par le texte.

The aim of this paper is to present a particular relationship between the painter and the poet, and to examine the influences of Gauguin’s vision that Segalen calls Maître-du-Jouir on the literary creation of the writer. The two Frenchmen had much in common: a sense of mystery, a fascination with the primitive and the exotic, and a gift for ambiguity. From 1903 until his death in 1919, Segalen’s poetry and prose would, like Gauguin’s art, try to discover the exotic on its own terms while increasingly confronting the limits of the Western artist’s own powers of apprehension. In Les Immémoriaux (translated into English as A Lapse of Memory), Segalen adopts a Maori point of view to comment on Western culture. The author’s greatest feat was breaking with the colonial exoticism of such nineteenth-century writer-travelers as Pierre Loti for example. Where those authors made no pretence about surrendering Western, or even imperial, values while depicting foreign cultures, Segalen, imitating his Master Gauguin, was intensely self-conscious about his depictions of the other in ways that seem especially modern. In his ethnographic novel, Segalen performs a kind of translation from one art to another which is, for him, a creative process by itself.
L’idée de cet article vise à présenter une relation  particulière entre le peintre et le poète, et à examiner les influences de la vision de Gauguin, que Segalen nomme Maître-du-Jouir, sur la création littéraire de l’écrivain. Les deux Français avaient beaucoup en commun: un sens du mystère, une fascination pour le primitif et l’exotique et un don pour l’ambiguïté. À partir de 1903 jusqu’à sa mort en 1919, la poésie et la prose de Segalen tenteront, à l’instar de l’art de Gauguin, de découvrir l’exotisme à sa manière tout en confrontant de plus en plus les limites du pouvoir d’appréhension de l’artiste occidental. Dans Les Immémoriaux, Segalen adopte un point de vue maori pour commenter la culture occidentale. Le plus grand exploit de l’auteur était de rompre avec l’exotisme colonial d’écrivains voyageurs du XIXe siècle, à titre d’exemple Pierre Loti. Là où ces auteurs ne prétendaient pas renoncer aux valeurs occidentales, voire impériales, tout en décrivant des cultures étrangères, Segalen, imitant son Maître Gauguin, était extrêmement conscient de ses représentations de l’autre de manière particulièrement moderne. Segalen réalise dans son roman ethnographique une sorte de translation d’un art à l’autre qui est, pour lui, une démarche créatrice par elle-même.

The storytelling activity coupled with that of playing and sharing a ‘story’ is part of the traditional repertoire of language didactics. In the context of a language project, a group of foreign Master’s students at the Ecole Centrale de Nantes were asked to use two tools: the Baludik (a gamified circuit editor) and eZoomBook (an enriched book editor). Our article reports back on the methodology used to offer students creative activities based on the Baludik and eZoomBook editors, and analyses the students’ results and feedback. Our goal is to suggest possible pedagogical uses of these circuits and book editors, applicable to the learning of different foreign languages.

Teaching culture and literature of the past at the university is not easy, even at language studies departments where students are supposed to be willing to read books and learn about the history and culture of foreign countries. It appears that young people are reluctant to express themselves in academic classes and prefer to wait passively for the teacher to dictate them what is worth noting. In my opinion, this is not what academic lectures should look like. The university should use different means, adapted at best to the contemporary students’ profiles, to help them learn how to think critically and to debate democratically. The great responsibility of the university is to form future citizens. This much depends on the academic teachers who elaborate the lecture programs and ought to shape a creative atmosphere in their classes, a base for the exchange of ideas and opinions, which is essential to prepare students for their adult life.

Advertisement isn’t very popular object of analysis in the field of literary studies, based on the constitutive and self‐determined dynamics of selfless query of formal perfection. Advertisement, dedicated to the economy, is not easily exonerate there. However, if we keep this idealistic and elitist doxa suspended, therefore we will see that the discourse of publicity is activating – as every discourse is – the spectacular axiological function which makes understand our motivations to act in the social reality. Are they relevant in transcultural context? This article tries to respond to this question, comparing contemporary publicities from west (Belgium, France) and central (Poland) Europe, advertising anti‐age cosmetics.

The aim of the present study is to examine the extent to which French philology students' informal learning – in the area of multimodal literacies and leisure activities – reinforces the gains in French literature and French history and culture courses through creative mediation. We report on an experiment conducted in the years 2020-2022 in five online courses at the French Philology department of the University of Wrocław during the Covid-19 pandemic. In these courses, students were expected to personally mediate the texts or content studied in class and present them on a group Facebook site. The students' projects are classified according to two criteria (intersemiotic and intrasemiotic mediation; mediation of form and content) and prove that the involvement of informally acquired knowledge and skills not only developed the students' creativity, but also promoted interpretative processes by anchoring the formal learning of the course in personal experience.

The aim of the present article is to address the notion of négritude in its variety of aspects, as expressed in poetry, essays and novels. The movement founded its principles on the belief in a common black identity and was aimed at the elevation of the traditional African culture and heritage. Despite its undeniable positive influence, the movement met with criticism from a number of black intellectuals and writers who tended to regard it as being insufficiently militant and who pointed out that its concepts were based excessively on the “white aesthetic” and “the white man’s vision of the world”. Key words: Négritude, black culture, African traditions, glorification, negation.
