    Opis:
    Turning requirements into working systems is the essence of software engineering. This paper proposes automation of one of the aspects of this vast problem: generating user interfaces directly from requirements models. It presents syntax and semantics of a comprehensible yet precise domain specification language. For this language, the paper presents the process of generating code for the user interface elements. This includes model transformation procedures to generate window initiation code and event handlers associated with these windows. The process is illustrated with an example based on an actual system developed using the presented approach.

    The main objective of the present study is to explore the relationship among factors of talent value proposition namely organization branding, talent branding and employer branding, talent management process and high-performance working systems (HPWS). Therefore, the data of the present study was collected from the IT personnel who are employees in the bureaucratic organization of Thailand. The data of this study was collected through questionnaires by using stratified random sampling. The usable response rate was 63.2%. The gathered data was analyzed using structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings of the study point of that TVP factors namely organization branding, talent branding and employer branding play significant role to develop TMP that later impact HPWS. This study also confirms the mediating role of TMP as well. The findings of the present study can be used by the policy makers and practitioners for the practical implementation of talent management practices so the high-performance working systems can be enhanced to increase the employee commitment. This study also discussed the limitations and novelty in detail.
    Głównym celem niniejszego opracowania jest zbadanie relacji między czynnikami propozycji wartości talentów, a mianowicie brandingiem organizacji, talent brandingiem i employer brandingiem, procesem zarządzania talentami oraz wysokowydajnymi systemami pracy (HPWS). Dlatego dane do niniejszego badania zostały zebrane od personelu IT, który jest pracownikami biurokratycznej organizacji Tajlandii. Dane z tego badania zostały zebrane za pomocą kwestionariuszy przy użyciu warstwowego doboru losowego. Użyteczny odsetek odpowiedzi wyniósł 63,2%. Zebrane dane zostały przeanalizowane za pomocą modelowania równań strukturalnych (SEM). Wyniki badania wskazują, że czynniki TVP, a mianowicie branding organizacji, branding talentów i branding pracodawcy, odgrywają istotną rolę w rozwoju TMP, które później wpływają na HPWS. Badanie to potwierdza również pośredniczącą rolę TMP. Wnioski z niniejszego badania mogą być wykorzystane przez decydentów i praktyków do praktycznego wdrażania praktyk zarządzania talentami, tak aby można było ulepszyć wysokowydajne systemy pracy w celu zwiększenia zaangażowania pracowników. W badaniu tym szczegółowo omówiono również ograniczenia i nowość.

    The aim of the article is to present the author’s original method for evaluating the quality of working conditions. The concept of the method is based on the use of expert assessment and applying a classification algorithm deriving from grey systems theory. At the theoretical level, the elaborated method draws on the praxeological approach to work as a specific activity, as well as on the qualitative approach.
    Celem artykułu jest przentacja autorskiej metody oceny jakości warunków pracy. Koncepcja metody oparta jest na wykorzystaniu oszacowania eksperckiego oraz zastosowaniu algorytmu klasyfikacyjnego wywodzacego się z teorii systemów szarych. Opracowana metoda na płaszczyźnie teoretycznym odwołuje się do prakseologicznego ujęcia pracy jako specyficznego działania oraz do podejścia jakościowgo w ujęciu kwalitologicznym.

    Working memory (WM) is inherently dynamic and complex, being a multi-faceted system that links storage and processing components; yet it is widely understood as internal. Hence, in second language (L2) research, its connection to complex dynamic systems theory (CDST) remains underspecified. This paper seeks to bridge a gap between CDST and WM in L2 research. First, definitions of WM are reviewed, along with evidence for its relationship to L2 outcomes. Next, a brief overview of CDST highlights its metatheoretical and methodological implications. Three perspectives are presented to illustrate how WM can be viewed in terms of major tenets in CDST. These consider WM effects as: (1) context-dependent, (2) interrelated with those of other variables, and (3) amenable to change across the lifespan. Despite this reappraisal, numerous challenges remain. Thus, in addition to noting research opportunities, the paper also considers measurement issues, such as the determination of boundaries and selection of appropriate timescales. In closing, while WM studies have shown its influence on L2 proficiency and processing, to more fully understand its dynamic nature, what is needed is further research on the reciprocal influences of bilingual development and changes in WM components, such as control of attention.

    The measure of availability that is often used to compare the dependability of computer-based systems is imperfect, insofar as two systems with the same availability can display quite different performance characteristics. Here we develop a new fractal temporal measure for work effort that offers insights into a system’s performance not captured by the traditional availability measure. Moreover, we show that this fractal measure can be used to compare the temporal work patterns of both human and artificial agents and identify their unique strengths and weaknesses. Such new comparative tools will become increasingly important as the development of more sophisticated artificial agent technologies creates situations in which particular functions within an organization can be carried out either by human or artificial personnel.

    The purpose of this research was to determine the conditions for cooperation amongst various components of belt transmission systems in grain harvesters in terms of thermal loads acting on them under operational conditions. A number of field research tests were conducted, using the thermal image measurement method, where selected structural elements of the belt transmission systems were depicted with a thermal imaging technique. The authors focussed on the methodological benefits and problems resulting from the research manner adopted. The authors presented results which could provide a valuable source of information of a utilitarian nature as they could be used for diagnosing the technical condition of kinematic nodes in the mechanical transmission systems in question.
    Celem badań było określenie warunków współpracy elementów przekładni pasowych kombajnów zbożowych, w aspekcie ich obciążeń termicznych generowanych wymuszeniami eksploatacyjnymi. Przeprowadzono szereg badań terenowych z zastosowaniem metody pomiaru termowizyjnego, w których dokonywano obrazowania termowizyjnego wybranych elementów konstrukcyjnych przekładni pasowych. W opracowaniu zwrócono uwagę na zalety i problemy metodyczne wynikające z przyjętego sposobu realizacji badań. Przedstawiono wyniki, które mogą stanowić cenne informacje o charakterze utylitarnym, ze względu na możliwość ich wykorzystania w procesie diagnostyki stanu technicznego węzłów kinematycznych analizowanych przekładni mechanicznych.

    Opis:
    Non-collision trajectories of an industrial robot are the key objective when planning its handling cycles. When the robot should move optimally, precisely and safely in each situation, it is necessary that every obstacle placed in its transition trajectory should be programmed and avoided. The optimal trajectory corresponds to choosing, if possible, the shortest and most appropriate way for the specific movement to be finished. The task of avoiding obstacles by the industrial robot in its working zone can be solved by various methods and algorithms. The paper shows the use of the kinematics SCARA as a way of avoiding obstacles by a robot in the working zone using the Lee algorithm. The configuration fields and networks are being modelled for the avoidance of obstacles together with their evaluation and the search for the shortest trajectory reflected in the robot programming.

    The situation in the country and around the world needs new, better energy resources and ways to use them to save energy, and with it, the economic, ecological and social position of any state. Energy saving is a necessary issue for improving economic performance by reducing energy consumption while maintaining comfortable conditions. Large industrial buildings are a significant consumer of thermal energy. An effective approach is needed for the design of heating systems, taking into account the possible modes of their operation to ensure the rational use of energy resources.
