Opis:
One of important things in the production of vitally foods is bakery industry. The quality of baked goods can be achieved by improving the quality of dough kneading. In order to achieve this goal a new structure of the working body and methods of mathematical and computer modelling are offered, aimed to determine the working body design factors and visualize the process. Mathematical models of the dependency of dough viscosity from working body structural features and the frequency of its rotation are made. The obtained models are used to determine rational values of controlled parameters. It has been found that for wheat dough mixing the use of equipment with pin working bodies is more preferable. One of them – the main one – is larger in diameter, and two others – supporting ones – are smaller, able to ensure effective implementation of first and second stages of components mixing. The necessity of changing rotation direction of working bodies is substantiated. At the initial stage of mixing it is necessary to ensure larger diameter pin heating and at the stage of plasticization – vice versa – smaller diameter pins heating.

Opis:
The study presents the results of an investigation into centrifugal mills with an energy-saving working body. Rational geometric parameters of the working body of the centrifugal mill, which grinds the solid residue from the pyrolysis of used tyres, have been justified on the criterion of the lowest specific energy consumption during the grinding process. A method to determine the dependence of the in-grinding power consumption on the basic parameters of the working body has been developed, while an analytical expression to determine the power consumption for grinding the solid residue from the pyrolysis of used tyres has been obtained. It has been found that the power consumption in the grinding process linearly depends on the rotational speed of the working body, which is to the 0.3 power on the average size of solid particles.

Opis:
Studies on men’s body image are becoming increasingly popular. They show that body dissatisfaction may lead to certain health disorders (depressive mood, bigorexia, anxiety). This study focuses on the differences in body dissatisfaction among young men who work out to reach different aims (to increase, strengthen or to shape muscle mass). Body dissatisfaction was measured using the Bodybuilder Image Grid Scale. The results of this study show that there are no significant differences between men who exercise in gyms using different types of work-out. However, there is a significant difference between men who exercise to gain muscle mass and those who do not work out at all; the first group is less satisfied with their bodies as far as fat mass is concerned. Moreover, the evaluation of health and body attractiveness was measured using the questionnaire ‘Your values’ and asking men about the hypothetical possibility of giving up their longevity for a perfect body. The results indicate that men who exercise tend to treat health more instrumentally than those who do not train. Finally, those who train regularly find attractiveness of the body much more important than those who do not exercise at all.

Working Out
Opis:
It is known that rates of participation in sports and physical activities among older adults decrease as they get older. This article focuses on the experience of the aging body at the gym, and it is one of the few that focuses on a little-studied group of frequent gym-goers. Based on an ethnographic work of more than two years in Amsterdam, I explain the goals of three older adults who frequently work out, what their relationships with the gym and their bodies are, and why they are interested in training in gyms. This article seeks to contribute to discourses on health, sport, and aging and, at the same time, to explain some of the advantages of qualitative studies in understanding the experience of aging and training in gyms.
