Opis:
ncontrolled and inappropriate use of technology (mobile phones, tablets and PC) among pre-school children is harmfulto their physical and mental development. The use of technology at this age should not be limited to 30 minutesper day.Anything over that timecan cause addiction.Even during this interval, the use of inappropriate content i.e., games, social networks may not encourage deepanalytical thinking; instead,it makes a ‘flow water heater’ from a brain causingthe reception of a huge amount of information that cannot be processed or stimulated by the brain to solve problems and develop synapses that are responsible for functional thinking. On the other hand, during that period, children experience a range of emotions such as sadness, anger, happiness, fear, love, surprise, disgust, and shame. These emotions cause an increasein serotonin levels, which functions as a form of morphine in children’s brain. It is much more effective for a child to engage in some form of motor activitiese.g., playing, climbing or crawling which successfully stimulates the formation of synapses in the child's brain. This new generation of children addictedto technology in schools creates problems. The aim of this paper is to outlinethis multifacated problem.

Przede wszystkim omówiono istotę i rodzaje szkół wirtualnych z wyartykułowaniem zalet wirtualnego kształcenia. Opis:
Aim. This study is an ethnomathematical study that aims to describe and interpret the philosophical value and geometrical patterns of the famous architecture and ornament of the Indonesian traditional Mosque. Methods. This report subsequently used an ethnographic method, with data being obtained through observation, documentation, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Furthermore, the study subjects were a cultural practitioner and a group of educators, containing five primary school teachers in Central Java, Indonesia. Interviews, observation, and documentation were conducted during the research. The data was analysed qualitatively. Results. First, from the data analysis, it was found that there are several philosophical values contained in the architecture and ornaments of a Javanese traditional mosque such as the relationship that must always exist between humans and God and fellow human beings, Islam, iman (faith), Ihsan (kindness), openness, honesty, obedience, and humility. The second indicates the relationship between the Javanese architecture and ornament of the Indonesian traditional Mosque and the geometrical patterns (the cuboid, and cylinder), symmetrical patterns, and geometry transformation (rotation) used as the source of learning and starting point to the mathematical learning process. Conclusions. These results were specifically useful to primary school teachers when teaching geometry. Through culture as a context or starting point, the new mathematical learning resource was also used for geometric learning. In addition, the philosophical significance of these artifacts fostered an interest in the indigenous culture and good character values.

Opis:
The paper focuses on pedagogical theory and practice, which was brought to the fore about a year ago in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. The authors deal particularly with the implementation of electronic media into family-school cooperation. The paper presents mainly the views and theories of authors from abroad, where the issue is more researched than in Slovakia. These are maintained by selected empirical data obtained by the authors during the pedagogical practice by means of the research carried out during the first lockdown in Slovakia (2020). We obtained the results by providing an online questionnaire. The research sample consisted of teachers at the primary level of education and parents of primary school pupils. It can be observed that traditional face-to-face ways of communication are still favoured among parents and teachers and that various barriers determine the so-called e-nvolvement of parents in parent-teacher cooperation. Another dimension of family-school cooperation is represented by an insufficient preparation of both parents and teachers.
