The paper presents the application results of reverse engineering technology for planning the plastic surgery. First step is digitalization of the patient body. It is realized by 3D structured light scanner. The scanning data are transferred into 3dsMax software and used for planning plastic surgery. The planning effect is shown using stereoscopy visualization method.

This publication aim is discussing the issue of lidarometry – a stereoscopic point cloud display for measurement purposes. The authors state that lidarometry constitutes a valuable variant of integration for photogrammetric and scanning data. A point cloud in lidarometry may be subject to stereoscopic observation and measurement to perform vectorization identically as in photogrammetry. Apart from 3D point cloud display enabled by several programmes in the world, the authors describe the method of synthetic stereograms generation using the artificial image pair sampling, Such solution presents an additional aspect of scanning and photogrammetric data integration and enables thorough analysis of the method. In this publication, the authors describe the genesis and variants of lidarometry. The authors determine the relation of lidarometric measurements accuracy to conventional stereophotogrammetric measurement accuracy. They also provide the optimum point cloud resolution for stereo measurements to terrain pixels size of the measured photograms.

This paper presents a newly designed stereoscopic video quality metric. Overall insights towards the creation of mechanisms utilized within the genuine metric are presented herein. Delivery of the core information and motivation behind the features implemented, as well as functionality of the Compressed Average Image Intensity (CAII) quality metric are of utmost importance. The mechanisms created might be characterized as an objective, reliable and versatile quality evaluation tool for advanced analysis of the content delivery chain within stereoscopic video services.

Through a 3 week workshop in March 2014 a group of third year students from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture will create their own imaginary city based on phenomenological experiments in Copenhagen and an interpretation of these experiences combining conventional and digital modelling. The workshop serves as an educationbased research project in which we want to investigate the potentials of working consciously with bodily movement as a generator in the creation of architecture by combining actual experience of the city with conventional model building and digital modelling seen through latest Virtual Reality technologies. Thus the research question is two-folded: What kind of architecture can we imagine and conjure through movement combining classical tools and methods with newest technology and how do we respond to these new tools and integrate them in the education of future architects? This paper is therefore likewise divided. The first part is about the city and the architectural tools involved in the workshop. This section is titled Representing the City. The second part is elab.
