Opis:
The article specifies the principles of functional and planning organization out-of-school educational institutions. On the basis of architectural and town-planning principles conception of perspective development of out-of-school educational establishment’s network is worked out. Suggestions are given in relation to adjustment of normative radiuses of availability for out-of-school educational establishments. Functional and planning models and design suggestions for improvement of extracurricular educational institutions network has been developed for various types of out-of-school institutions.

In the course of my research at PHD at the AMU University in Poland, I was exposed to patterns of communication between the school and the parents of the students. It turns out that these patterns change frequently: if in the past it was customary to write to parents in a contact notebook about the student’s behavior at school, or make a call through Telephone line. Now we are exposed to new patterns of communication that may improve the relationship between the school and the parents, but on the other hand there are dangers and challenges that, if not considered, may harm the parents’ involvement or contact with them. In recent years, with digital technological developments (Internet, smartphones, social networks), there has been a significant change in communication patterns between parents and teachers. The communication is immediate, the parents are connected to the school Site, and they are updated online by email, the WA messages, groups, etc. In this article I will examine the changes in communication between the school and parents and the significance of these changes. I will also relate to the gaps created between populations that can’t afford some of these technologies and the intergenerational gap that is growing as a result of technological changes and their impact on students, parents and teachers

In the last two decades, the map of the primary school network in Poland has undergone a significant transformation, especially in rural areas that are suffering depopulation. These changes generally involve the closing of small rural schools and this leads to numerous conflicts between residents and local government. However, it is rarely pointed out that closing a school can be a fatal blow to the local community, not only due to the reduction in the social activity of residents but also the loss of jobs which contributes to the economic decline of a village. However, few studies can confirm this thesis. Therefore, this article aims to present the spatial diversity of the reorganisation process of the primary school network in rural areas of Małopolska Voivodeship and attempts to determine the impact of school closures on the economic development of those villages. To achieve this, the author compared the average value of the entrepreneurship indicator for 2018 with changes in the number of businesses for 2009-2018 for individual villages. The calculated values were compiled for those communities where the primary school was closed and for those villages in which the residents decided to take over a school from the local government with their own organisation or association. For comparison of selected indicators, differences in the average values for the two types of localities were presented using a one-way ANOVA variance analysis. The research showed much higher economic activity in places where the school was taken over compared to where the school was closed. In addition, the places where the school was taken over showed a stronger rate of growth for the number of businesses registered in the REGON system.

Oświata podlega ciągłym zmianom. Ostatnia reforma związana z likwidacją gimnazjów i wprowadzaniem nowej struktury szkolnej zrodziła konieczność szybkich zmian przepisów i stworzenia nowej sieci szkolnej przez gminy i powiaty. Ustawodawca zwiększył kompetencje kuratora oświaty we współdziałaniu w zakresie tworzenia sieci. Niewątpliwie kompetencje kuratora oświaty, będącego organem administracji rządowej ograniczają niezależność samorządu w podejmowaniu decyzji w tak ważnej społecznie sprawie. Należy potępić zarówno tempo zmian przepisów jak i konieczność dokonywania zmian w sieci w tak krótkim czasie. Podważa to bowiem zaufanie obywatela do państwa i tworzonego w nim prawa.
The local schools authorities represented by chief education officers perform pedagogical supervision and control. They also cooperate with local government units which are responsible for realization of most of the educational tasks. The latest reform of the educational system has considerably broadened the superintendents’ competences in many aspects, for example as regards evaluation of schools networks. Undoubtedly, the competences of the school superintendent limit the independence of local self-governments as far as their deciding about schools is concerned. In essence, the problem concerns the creation of legal solutions that allow universal access to education. One should strive to create a network of schools, which will remain unchanged for many years. The network must ensure a sense of security in the implementation of educational benefits to residents.

With the aim of revealing linguocultural gaps (lacunas) in Hungarian-Vietnamese business communication, a questionnaire-based study was conducted. A total of 638 questionnaires was completed and analysed. Participants of the survey were Vietnamese individuals who had lived and graduated from university in Hungary, and had a good command of the Hungarian language. In this presentation, the results obtained will be displayed, including linguistic and cultural differences between representatives of the two aforementioned nations. The theoretical background of the study is the Lacuna Theory, developed by the Moscow School of Ethnopsycholinguistics. The results of the survey will hopefully contribute to the further development of the Lacuna Theory in general and in the business context in particular.
