Opis:
The paper deals with an analysis of automatic control system with continuous and discrete PID controllers. A method of tuning the parameters of the continuous controller is presented, which is optimal according to the ITAE criterion. The behavior of control systems with discrete controllers whose parameters were tuned using the mentioned method are described. The impact of changes in the sampling period of controlled signal on the control quality is shown. Changes of the values of optimal parameters of discrete PID controllers in relation to changes of the sampling rate of controlled signal are characterized.

Opis:
The arbitrary waveform generator is characterised by its flexible signal generation, high frequency resolution and rapid frequency switching speed and is wildly used in fields like communication, radar systems, quantum control, astronautics and biomedicine. With continuous development of technology, higher requirements are placed on to the arbitrary waveform generator. Sampling rate determines the bandwidth of the output signal, spurious-free dynamic range determines the quality of generated signal. Due to above, these two indicators’ improvement is vital. However, the existing waveform generation methods cannot generate signals with quality good enough due to their technical limitations, and in order to realize a high system sampling rate, to accomplish waveform generation process in FPGA, multipath parallel structure is needed. Therefore, we proposed a parallel waveform synthesis structure based on digital resampling, which fixed the problems existing in the current methods effectively and achieved a high sampling rate as well as high quality arbitrary waveform synthesis. We also built up an experimental test bench to validate the proposed structure.

This study shows the sensitivity of using silicone rubber passive sampler (SR-PS) and gas chromatography with mass spectrometer (GC-MS) detection for monitoring and identification of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in surface water systems. The analysis was performed for eighteen PAHs compounds after pre-concentration using Soxhlet extraction method. By comparison, a total of 13 PAHs were detected in the spot water samples, of which none was quantifiable. The freely dissolved PAH concentrations were found to range from 0.17 ng/L to 0.76 ng/L at Ugieriver. The use of fluorine d10 as Performance reference compound (PRC) gives a sampling rates of 8.14 (L/day) for silicone rubber passive samplers. Analysis of PAHs concentrations suggest the contaminants are mainly from pyrolytic sources. Overall it can be concluded that SR-PS are viable alternatives in the environmental monitoring of PAHs.

In this paper, a problem of a perfect recovering cosinusoidal signal of any phase being sampled critically is considered. It is shown that there is no general solution to this problem. Its detailed analysis presented here shows that recovering both the original cosinusoidal signal amplitude and its phase is not possible at all. Only one of this quantities can be recovered under the assumption that the second one is known. And even then, performing some additional calculations is needed. As a byproduct, it is shown here that a transfer function of the recovering filter that must be used in the case of the critical sampling differs from the one which is used when a cosinusoidal signal is sampled with the use of a sampling frequency greater than the Nyquist rate. All the results achieved in this paper are soundly justified by thorough derivations.
