The article analyses two methods from the scholarly oeuvre of a great Polish Croatian and Slavic studies scholar Joanna Rapacka (1939–2000). These two methods are very interesting and in a particular manner topical, especially in Croatian philology: due to a reconstruction of historical poetics and research of sources, and because of a deconstruction of national myths and national essentialism in literary historiography. These two approaches are closely linked in an attempt to understand an older, pre-modern literary culture in its original, epochal context.

Opis:
The VINCY Cyclotron is the main part of the TESLA Accelerator Installation. The diameter of the pole of this machine is 2000 mm. Its bending constant is 145 MeV while its focusing constant is 75 MeV. The radiofrequency system of the machine consists of two l/4-resonators with the eigenfrequency in the range from 17 to 31 MHz. Ions coming from a heavy ion source or a light ion source will be injected into the machine axially. They will be introduced into its median plane by a spiral inflector. Heavy ions accelerated in the machine will be extracted from it by a foil stripping system or by an electrostatic deflection system. Light ions will be extracted from it by the foil stripping system. The first programs of use of the VINCY Cyclotron are related to routine and experimental production of radioisotopes and radiopharmaceuticals, and to biomedical research with ion beams. The first beam extracted from the machine will be the proton beam of the energy of 22 MeV obtained from the H2+ beam extracted from the light ion source. This beam will be used first for production of radioisotope 18F and radio-pharmaceutical 18FDG, to be employed for positron emission tomography

Scharakteryzowano różnorodną działalność prowadzoną w ośrodku (edukacyjną, naukową, społeczną i komercyjną), której wdrożenie umożliwia jego utrzymanie i dalszy rozwój.

A short historical description of Polish contribution to astronomy and rocket technology is given. Then Polish activities in field of space exploration, such as instrument designed and build in Poland and placed on board of rockets, satellites and space probes during last 50 years are described. Contributions of the Space Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences as well as astronomical discoveries made by Polish astrophysicists are presented. Most important missions in which instruments build in Poland were placed on board are among others: Mars Express and Venus Express, Cassini-Huygens, Rosetta and Integral. Among numerous discoveries made by Polish astrophysicists, one should mention the discovery and proper identification of powerful burst from magnetar SGR 1806-20 and the discovery of unusually rapid bursts from black hole Cyg X-1.

The article presents a part of diagnostic and correlative research of quantitative and qualitative character, locating pupils’ information skills in the use of ICT in the context of new technology trends and the accompanying civilizational changes. The considered issues seek answers to the question on the sources of knowledge and skills acquired by pupils in the field of using new technologies. A diagnostic survey (questionnaire and interview) and statistical methods were used. 2,510 pupils were examined and it was established that: 1) numerous pupils’ indications, obtained through an open question, allowed for distinguishing as many as 14 categories of sources of information; 2) The pupils mainly locate the sources of ICT knowledge and skills in informal education (61.9%), by the same token diminishing the weight of organised, formal education and the influence of didactic institutions (38.1%); 3) the calculation of differentiating factors revealed statistically significant differences between the sources of ICT knowledge and skills in relation to gender, stage of learning, and place of learning.

Opis:
The European Commission pays great attention to the need of innovations in the area of research, development and education since this area remains behind in comparison with the advanced countries such as the USA and Japan. The upgrading of education in the way it is stressed by the resolutions of the Bologna Process points up the necessity of increasing the quality by emphasising the linking of science and practice as well as gaining of skills and knowledge for their better application in practice. Therefore it will be necessary, even in the conditions of Slovakia which remains behind significantly as to the support of science and education, to direct the structural funds of the European Union towards modernisation of the universities and other institutions of higher education so that it could be possible to assure the qualities of research and improve the conditions in students’ preparation for their better performance in practice. In their paper the authors point to the possibilities of implementing the innovations in the area of research and development by presenting an example of the Research & Development and Information Centre of Bioenergy (VVICB) at Kapusany, and they also demonstrate the practical solutions of these activities.
Európska komisia venuje vel’ku pozornosf potrebe inovacu v oblasti vyskumu, vyvoja a vzdelavania. Pretoże v tejto oblasti je Slovensko stale pozadu v porovnani s vyspelymi krajinami, ako su USA a Japonsko. Modernizacia vzdelavania, ako sa zdórazńuje v uzneseni bolonskeho procesu je nutnosf zvysovania kvality s dorazom na prepojenie vedy a praxe, ako aj z^skavanie zrucnosti a znalosti pre ich lepsie uplatnenie v praxi. Preto bude nutne, a to aj v podmienkach, Slovenska prispief vyznamnou mierou k podpore vedy a vzdelania. Mala by k tomu prispief podpora strukturalnych fondov Európskej unie na modernizaciu vysokych skol a d’alsfch inśtitucu vyssieho vzdelavania, aby bolo możne zabezpecif kvalitny vyskum a zlepsif podmienky v priprave studentov na ich lepsie uplatnenie v praxi. Autori vo svojej praci poukazuju na możnosti realizacie inovacn v oblasti vyskumu a vyvoja tym, że predstavuju pr^klad Vyskumno - vyvojoveho a informacniho centra bioenergie (VVICB) na Ekonomickej univerzite v Bratislave pracovisko Kapusany. To centrum vyskumu a vzdelavania ma prispief k prenosu idey vyużitia obnovite1nych zdrojov energie do praxe a tież ukazaf prakticke riesenia tychto aktivit. Tato vedecka praca bola vytvorena realizaciou projektu "Nove technológie pre ekologicky a ekonomicky efektivneho zlepsenia biomasy na energeticke vyużitie", ITMS, kód projektu 26220220063 na zaklade podpory Operacneho programu veda a vyskum, financovaneho z Európskeho fondu regionalneho rozvoja.
