    Opis:
    W 2013 roku budżet obywatelski stał się nowym instrumentem kształtowania przestrzeni Wrocławia. Ilość zgłoszonych projektów (242) oraz liczba głosujących (52 000) pokazały duże zainteresowanie mieszkańców tym programem. Najczęściej proponowane przez projektodawców były inwestycje dotyczące ogólnodostępnych miejsc rekreacyjno-sportowych (34% wszystkich). Zyskały one w głosowaniu duże poparcie (mediana głosów oddanych na projekt 884). Proponowane w programie inwestycje dotyczące rewitalizacji podwórek (stanowiące 13%) nie zdobyły ilości głosów wystarczającej do ich realizacji tworzone są na tych terenach prywatne przestrzenie semipubliczne o funkcji rekreacyjnej. Ich użytkownicy mają możliwość spędzania wolnego czasu, dołączając do wspólnot ogródkowo-sąsiedzkich czy sportowych (kluby tenisowe, jeździeckie, golfowe itp.). Na krajobraz suburbiów składają się więc w równej mierze krajobraz „ogólny” jak i krajobraz „klubowy”. Artykuł jest pytaniem o cechy charakterystyczne badanego zjawiska, jego przyczyny, pozytywy i negatywy oraz prognozy na przyszłość. Przestrzenie klubowe, wraz z krajobrazem, który tworzą, zaczynają wpływać na postrzeganie krajobrazu suburbiów, a także jakość i styl życia ich mieszkańców. Tego typu formy przestrzenne niosą ze sobą wiele problemów, ale generują także wiele pozytywnych procesów, np. integrację mieszkańców o podobnych zainteresowaniach, wprowadzenie do krajobrazu suburbiów obiektów o pewnych walorach estetycznych oraz tak potrzebną przestrzeń spotkań. Autorzy są zdania, że problematyka związana z przestrzeniami semipublicznymi, szczególnie w kontekście suburbiów, powinna być kontynuowana i rozwijana.

    Today, practicing physical recreation together as a family is gaining importance, which is influenced by many factors. Physical recreation as a family plays a role in the education of young generations to value recreation, but is also important for the maintenance of health. A big factor of this is social conditions. One opportunity to participate in the practice of recreational physical activity is during various tourist stays, for example, in a spa. The aim of the work was to demonstrate the feasibility of physical recreation as a family in spas.

    The aim of the article is to present the factors which affect the choice of place of recreation, as well as indicate the preferred forms of physical activity taken up there. The authors also discussed the relationship between distance from open areas and frequency of visits. Moreover, they evaluated current knowledge about the role of the natural environment as a physical recreation space. The research was conducted among a group of 305 physically active individuals (students of the Academy of Physical Education and Sport in Gdańsk), using questionnaires. The respondents defined the role of location in comparison to other motivational factors for a range of physical activities (recreation). They also spoke about their preferred forms of physical activity in the natural environment, compared to the roles of natural and human environments with regard to physical activity. They also provided an answer to the question whether an open area which does not provide respondents with an opportunity to undertake their favoured recreation would remain of interest. The study results demonstrate the unquestionable importance of having access to attractive natural surroundings with respect to physical activity. This allows a relation to be made between leisure in the natural environment and an improvement in the health of the physically active.

    The aim of the work was to analyse the essence of recreational resources as a component of ecosystem services for the planning and development of recreation within the protected areas of Ukraine. This study highlights the features and essence of the ecosystem services concept. The classification, characteristics and possibilities of cultural ecosystem services usage of protected areas are assessed, and the location and importance of recreational services are emphasized. Theoretical and methodological approaches to the recreational ecosystem services assessment of protected areas were performed using GIS tools. The negative consequences of the Russian Federation military aggression on the protected areas of Ukraine and the ecosystem services decline are considered. The main advantages and obstacles of implementing the ecosystem services concept for planning the recreation development of the Ukrainian nature reserve fund are discussed.

    This paper presents guidelines for the designation and development of locations for tourism and recreation in the countryside and on the city outskirts. The proposed criteria for designating these areas can be used in the development of strategic and planning documents. Using the METPRET and SWPR methodology in the area of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, the research allows for the development of proposals to be included in the strategic documents of the voivodeship. These proposals indicated the need to find new areas with the potential for individual short-term tourism and recreation. In uncertain circumstances, an integrated approach to spatial policy is essential as it ensures the ability of urban, suburban, and rural areas to adapt to change and develop sustainably.

    According to the social expectations, the natural aggregates post-mining area in Waryś should be revitalized towards the water function and serve as a recreational area. The paper identified the features which characterize the post-mining area of “Waryś” mine and its surroundings. On the basis of these features evaluation of opportunities for recreation and leisure functions was conducted. The conducted analysis indicates that although this feature seems to be attractive for many reasons, from the point of view of economic efficiency it is not justified, as the necessary revitalization works will require incurring high capital investment costs necessary for proper formation of the recreation and leisure space and its surroundings. At the same time the possible financial benefits probably will not balance the amount of costs incurred for the maintenance of the infrastructure and objects serving the recreation and leisure functions. However, the risk of failure of the revitalization may be decreased by diversifying the form of shaped space, because various revitalization modes and/or functions may efficiently coexist with each other, thereby forming a synergy effect.

    The establishment of recreation centres near the ponds in Lviv and its suburbs began from the end of the XVIIIth century to the middle of the XXth century. The analysis of the historical facts presented in the article gives us the possibility to distinguish three characteristic periods or stages in the development of places of a short rest near the water bodies.

W tym czasie wyodrębniamy trzy okresy rozwoju terenów nad zbiornikami wodnymi. Rodzaje działalności, zagospodarowanie oraz usytuowanie ich w tkance miejskiej Lwowa w każdym okresie odzwierciedla światowe tendencje oraz miejscowe osobliwości rozwoju urbanistycznego miejsc krótkiego wypoczyku nad zbiornikami wody.

    Cities are under threat from the effects of climate change. The consequences of climate change will primarily affect rivers in the form of increased droughts and floods. In view of global warming, protecting and restoring rivers should be a priority, along with reducing pollution. Strategic urban planning and engineering solutions, while playing an important role in climate change adaptation, will also improve forecasting and contribute to risk avoidance through planning controls.
    Miasta są zagrożone skutkami zmian klimatycznych. Konsekwencje zmian klimatu dotkną przede wszystkim rzeki w postaci wzmożonych susz i powodzi. W związku z globalnym ociepleniem ochrona i odnowa rzek powinny być priorytetem, a także zmniejszenie ich zanieczyszczenia. Strategiczne planowanie urbanistyczne i rozwiązania inżynieryjne, odgrywając ważną rolę w adaptacji do zmian klimatu, poprawią również prognozowanie i przyczynią się do unikania ryzyka poprzez kontrolę planowania.

    W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję projektową zagospodarowania terenu zieleni gospodarstwie, które w przyszłości ma funkcjonować jako agroturystyczne. Obiekt jest usytuowany we wsi Silginy, w północnej części województwa warmińsko-mazurskiego. Podczas badań wykonano waloryzację dendrologiczną i inwentaryzację zieleni. W pracach projektowych uwzględniono oczekiwania właściciela gospodarstwa. Zaproponowano kompozycję w nieregularnym kształcie, o płynnych liniach oraz wykorzystano naturalne materiały, jak drewno i kamień. Koncepcja obejmuje elementy umożliwiające różne formy rekreacji: parkur do jazdy konnej, miejsce na ognisko, sad owocowy, zielnik i warzywnik, staw z drewnianym tarasem i most. Część obszaru przeznaczono na plac zabaw dla dzieci. Uzupełnieniem koncepcji jest projekt techniczny zieleni, w którym przedstawiono rozmieszczenie dobranych gatunków roślin, charakterystycznych dla obszarów wiejskich.
