In recent years decrease in physical activity (PA) amongst school children have been highlighted. The World Health Organization recommends daily moderate to vigorous PA for this age group for at least 60 minutes. Maintaining proper PA level contributes to numerous health benefits and proper children's development stimulation. School recess allows pupils to meet the recommended physical activity guidelines, it can as well be crucial for their social and emotional development, increased learning effectiveness, reduced tension and school stress. The following element is listed among factors determining the quality and level of school recess: space available for pupils meaning a place where they can move freely and safely (run, play). Therefore, this research attempts to define what is the relation between the type of school recess resulting from available free time space for children and pupils' physical activity level during this recess. 113 grade 2 and 3 pupils from the local elementary school participated in the research (66 girls and 47 boys). Their physical activity undertaken spontaneously during school recess was the main point of observation. Two types of 10-minute school recess were analyzed: 1) the one spent in a classroom 2) the one spent in a school hallway. Significant statistical differences have been found between types of physical activity depending on space available for pupils during school recess. Clearly school recess spent in a classroom impairs free movement and causes visible reduction in physical activity. Organization of school recess including arrangement of space available to pupils between the classes can be understood as following the WHO guidelines defining the daily level of children's physical activity.

Objectives: To explore the correlation between the volume of the aAgger nNasi (AN) cell bulge and the A-P length of the frontal recess (FR). Subjects and methods: In total, 120 patients, who underwent septoplasty, were included. All patients underwent preoperative paranasal sinus computed tomography of the paranasal sinuses (PNS CT) imaging. In total, CT data on of all 120 PNSs patients were analyzed in terms of thewith respect to the extent of pneumatization of the AN cell bulge and the A-P dimensions of the FR. Each side was analyzed separately. Results: We included 120 patients,: 78 (65.0%) females and 42 (35.0 %) males. Their average age was 33.7 ± 11.6 years (range: 18–65 years). The mean volume of the AN cell bulge was 0.26 ± 0.4 mm3 on both the right and left sides. The A-P length of the FR was 7.7 ± 2.2 mm. No significant between-side difference in the mean volume of the AN cell bulge was apparent observed (p=0.906). This volume did not differ significantly by age or sex (p=0.844 and p=0.971, respectively). We found no correlation between the volume of the AN cell bulge and the A-P length of the FR (r = 0.098, p=0.192). Conclusion: In the present study, no correlation between AN cell volume and the A-P length of the FR was found. When studying the anatomical complexity of the FR, it is essential to consider the AN cell volume. We suggest that preoperative CT imaging is critical when endoscopic sinus surgery is planned. However, further studies with larger numbers of patients are needed to explore the relationship between AN cell pneumatization and the anatomy of the FR.

From the process technology point of view it is becoming increasingly difficult to continue scaling in traditional way due to fundamental limitations like resolution, quantum effects or random fluctuations. Opis:
The paper presents an experimental device that was created in order to obtain the real values of the forces acting in the vertical direction on the lock‑off element, the so‑called brake body, the 2nd design option. The lock of this design is used in the automated parking garage, designed by KOMA – Industry, s.r.o, to lock the parked vehicles on pallets in the units of the rack parking system. The forces acting in the vertical direction on the body of the fixation lock when pushing the brake pulley into the circular recess in the brake ramp are theoretically calculated for two design variants of the brake ramp used in practice, i.e. “without” and “with” a rounded (filleted) circular recess segment in the brake ramp. The experimentally determined forces acting in the vertical direction on the brake body were determined for two types of compression coil springs with a rectangular cross section of the spring wire.

Opis:
The legal issue that is discussed in the article is what kind of actions a public prosecutor can perform during a recess or an adjournment in the trial. The issue is questionable in the doctrine of Polish criminal procedure law. The author presents an opinion that a public prosecutor cannot perform any evidentiary actions because there is no clear statutory authorisation and, moreover, because he is a party to the judicial proceeding, and evidentiary activities are restricted for proceeding organs. The author supports the opinion using three methods of legal interpretation: the grammatical, functional and structural ones.
Problemem prawnym, który próbowano rozwiązać, jest to, jakie czynności może wykonać oskarżyciel publiczny w czasie przerwy albo odroczenia rozprawy. Kwestia ta w doktrynie polskiego prawa karnego procesowego jest sporna. Autor wyraził zaś pogląd, że oskarżyciel publiczny nie może wykonać żadnej czynności dowodowej ze względu na brak wyraźnego upoważnienia ustawowego, a nadto, gdyż jest stroną postępowania, a czynności dowodowe są zastrzeżone dla organów procesowych. Pogląd ten autor uzasadnia wykorzystując trzy metody wykładni przepisów prawa, tj. gramatyczną, funkcjonalną i systemową.
