In the article there are described main oil pipeline installations and main oil terminals in the Baltic Sea region. Oil facilities are gathered in the network of critical infrastructure. Impact of changing climate/weather on that infrastructure is taken into account. One medium size terminal is described in details and weather impact on the operation of that terminal is considered.

In the report considered urgency of account in calculations of pipe lines of dynamic loads from seismic influences of natural and technical nature. Dependencies are offered on the base of studying the features of arising the striking loads for the determination of their value. For excluding the resonance processes and reducing the dynamic loads are offered technical deciding on blanking the elevated pipe line fluctuations, protected by patents Russia.
W artykule położono nacisk na konieczność uwzględnienia w obliczeniach obciążeń dynamicznych wywołanych wpływami sejsmicznymi o charakterze naturalnym i technologicznym. Na podstawie analizy przebadanych czynników wywołujących obciążenia podano zależności do obliczenia ich wartości.

Opis:
Basic notions of the ageing multistate systems safety analysis are introduced. The system components and the system multistate safety functions are defined. The mean values and variances of the multistate systems lifetimes in the safety state subsets and the mean values of their lifetimes in the particular safety states are defined. The multi-state system risk function and the moment of exceeding by the system the critical safety state are introduced. The exemplary safety structures of the multistate systems with ageing components are defined and their safety functions are determined. As a particular case, the safety functions of the considered multistate systems composed of components having exponential safety functions are determined. Applications of the proposed multistate system safety models to the evaluation and prediction of the safty characteristics of the oil piping transportation system is presented as well.

Opis:
Purpose: Due to changes in the volume of oil transportation, part of the pipelines must be temporarily decommissioned. The purpose of the work is theoretical and experimental study of pressure fluctuations during operation of oil pipelines and their impact on the durability of the pipeline material in work state and after temporary decommissioning (conservation). Design/methodology/approach: The results of oil pressure fluctuation research have given a chance to choose the terms of experimental research providing of the pipe metal mechanical features changes research during oil pipeline exploitation. Findings: Fatigue test modes are selected based on the calculations of the mathematical model developed. Experimental studies of the dependence of the fatigue strength of the pipe material on the conditions of operation have been carried out, which made it possible to determine the parameters of the fatigue curve of the samples. Has been defined that fatigue strength for the new metal pipe samples is more for 20-25% than for the metal samples which had the contacts with lime milk and for 30-40% more than for metal samples which were under exploitation. Research limitations/implications: In the future, more combination of "pipe material - preservation medium" should be explored to establish pain of general regularities. Practical implications: The probabilistic curves of the pipeline non-destruction are constructed, which will be used for practical calculations of the reliability and durability of the 13G1S-U steel pipelines. Originality/value: Mathematical model is made that describes non-stationary oil moves in oil pipeline, that has been caused by jump like changes of oil supply in oil pipeline, on this basis was defined, that oil pressure in oil pipeline provides within non stationary process in a range of 0.4-0.6 Hz frequency and amplitude fluctuation of pressure is 0.1-0.5 MPa.

Opis:
Media pipeline transportation, in particular energy commodities has a very high share in the world economy. It has many advantages over other methods of transmission of the products on land but there are concerns about the safety of the pipeline system. When we are designing the pipeline, we take into consideration maximal discharge pressure of medium, but any change in pumping parameters results the appea rance of an unsteady (transient) process, which in some cases may lead to a rapid increase in pressure. The largest increase in pressure in the pipeline comes at a time of a complete stop fluid flow. There is formed a water hammer, which may cause a major accident up to pipeline leaks inclusive. Subject of considerations in the paper is the analysis of changes in pressure over time in the pipeline obtained in 12 experiments of stop oil pump unit in the trunk pipeline for different pumping parameters and properties of the medium. Based on the recorded changes of pressure in measurement points were fitted regression models allowing to forecast an increase in pressure along the pipeline route caused by water hammer.

Opis:
The paper subject is the concept of a system for monitoring the operation of a pipeline transport network using telematics for the needs of the oil industry on a selected example. Transport telematics allows to deliberately influence the proces of moving cargo/ data using the elaborated deliberate decisions, as a result of the prior analysis of information and knowledge obtained using a dispersed system of sensors associated with means of pipeline transport, infrastructure, environment and man. The concept of the process of monitoring the technical condition of pipelines for the purpose of ensuring the required efficiency of the transport system and decisions regarding the process of their operation using a dedicated distributed monitoring system of selected operational parameters will be presented. In particular, the paper will focus on the location and categorization of pipe damages.
