Opis:: This article discusses the role of piano as a didactic aid in early education. The piano is a great aid to motivate, sparks creativity, and effectively engages children in the learning proces. A case study conducted by the author proposes different techniques of integrating the piano in the context of music lessons. The study contains a variety of musical activities and proposes specific teaching instructions to work with rhymes.

Opis:: The paper describes a mathematical model of PHA biopolymer production process by Pseudomonas putida KT2442 where the octanoic acid is used as a substrate. The process is modeled using mass balances for fed-batch cultivation. Proper fitting to experimental data is obtained by identification of the model parameters. The model exhibits good agreement with experiments and its possible application for control is considered in the paper.

Opis:: The pseudo-entropy hybrid model is suggested as the measure of uncertainty of operators' subjective preferences. Because of the introduced relative prevailing preferences factor the proposed hybrid model has advantages comparatively to the traditional measures of uncertainty in the view of Boltzmann's or Shannon 's entropy. According to the relative dominating preferences index the pseudo-entropy varies within [-1...1] showing the sign and magnitude of the relative subjective assuredness. Analytical expressions have been achieved. The theoretical concept is illustrated with examples and graphs.
