Opis:
The paper is devoted to internet applications supporting personal finance management (PFM). The main aim of the paper is to describe presumptions for development of PFM applications and to compare – from the user’s point of view – selected PFM websites in Polish, taking into consideration two categories: credibility and functionality. Within each category several factors were considered. The factors’ assessment has resulted in the creation of websites positioning.

Opis:
Today, mobile technologies have become an inseparable element of travel planning. They give travellers access to all necessary information on an ongoing basis from almost anywhere in the world. The largest group of application users on mobile devices are members of the young generation, in particular Y and Z. The practical goal of the article was to present the ways of using mobile applications in tourism by members of the Y generation. The analysis of the survey results indicated that two-thirds of the respondents used mobile applications to organize a trip, and the rest combined traditional and modern tools in order to achieve the highest efficiency. At the same time, 98.9% of respondents believed that mobile applications would take over a significant part of the tourism market or even dominate the market in the coming years along with the development of their quality and usability. Surveys were conducted among 94 users of these technological solutions and the research results are presented in descriptive and graphic form, and a characterization of the studied generation was also made

Today, savvy matrix, keen homes, brilliant water systems, canny transportation, are framework frameworks that associate our reality more than we at any point thought conceivable. The basic vision of such frameworks is generally connected with one single idea, the Internet of Things (IoT), where using sensors, the whole physical foundation is firmly combined with data and correspondence advances; where clever observing and the board can be accomplished by means of the utilization of organized implanted gadgets. These gadgets will associate with web to share diverse kinds of information. We have proposed an Industrial Monitoring System utilizing XAMPP server and detecting based applications for web of things. In this paper we use detecting gadgets to check diverse parameters like creation tally, brightening force, control utilization, relative mugginess and temperature of room.

Opis:
The fields of computer science and electronics have merged to result into one of the most notable technological advances in the form of realization of the Internet of Things (IoT). Internet of Things (IoT) is an innovative idea which will transform the real world objects into intelligent virtual objects in the near future. Nowadays internets of things are generating an enormous data, that data are applied in data mining to extract the knowledge. To many, the massive data generated or captured by IoT are considered having highly useful and valuable information. Some data mining algorithms are used to analyze the potential data in internet of things. This paper begins with a discussion of the IoT and then, it describes about three data mining algorithms such as clustering, classification, and association rules. At last the application areas of Internet of things are discussed in this paper.

Opis:
This paper presents the results of experimental research focused on wave energy harvesting and its conversion to power Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The harvesting and conversion process was performed using a wave energy converter (WEC) consisting of a lead zirconate titanate piezoelectric ceramic perovskite material and a prototype power electronic circuit. The designed WEC was considered as a power supply for an end node device (END) of an IoT network. The END consisted of a long-range radio module and an electronic paper display. A set of physical experiments were carried out, and the results confirmed that an energy surplus was supplied by WEC compared to the energy consumed by the END. Hence, the proposed scheme was experimentally validated as a convenient solution that could enable the autonomous operation of an IoT device. The use case presented here for the proposed WEC was analysed for selected sea areas on the basis of wave statistics. The novelty of this paper arises from an investigation that confirms that WECs can significantly contribute to the development of wireless and mobile IoT communication powered by freely available sea wave energy.

Opis:
The aim of this study is to analyze the role that the Internet plays in the enjoyment of human rights and answer the question of whether we may be in the process of recog-nizing a new right, namely the right to Internet access. The conclusions are built upon a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the Internet-related recommendations adopted by the UN treaty-based bodies in the period between 2007 and 2017. Moreover, the paper is supplemented by a brief overview of the relevant recommendations formulated under the mechanism of the Universal Periodic Review. Analysis of the content of rec-ommendations allowed them to be classified into two groups – the first one integrates recommendations that refer to the duty of non-interference, and the second concerns the duty to expand Internet infrastructure across the country. The article ends with a call for further investigation of the normative potential of Article 15(1)b of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, as this hitherto forgotten provision might shed a new light on the proposed right to Internet access.

Opis:
This article reviews chosen topics related to the development of Information Quantum Technologies in the major areas of measurements, communications, and computing. These fields start to build their ecosystems which in the future will probably coalesce into a homogeneous quantum information layer consisting of such interconnected components as quantum internet, full size quantum computers with efficient error corrections and ultrasensitive quantum metrology nodes stationary and mobile. Today, however, the skepticism expressing many doubts about the realizability of this optimistic view fights with a cheap optimism pouring out of some popular press releases. Where is the truth? Financing of the IQT by key players in research, development and markets substantially strengthens the optimistic side. Keeping the bright side with some reservations, we concentrate on showing the FAST pace of IQT developments in such areas as biological sciences, quantum evolutionary computations, quantum internet and some of its components.

Opis:
The Internet shopping optimization problem arises when a customer aims to purchase a list of goods from a set of web-stores with a minimum total cost. This problem is NP-hard in the strong sense. We are interested in solving the Internet shopping optimization problem with additional delivery costs associated to the web-stores where the goods are bought. It is of interest to extend the model including price discounts of goods. The aim of this paper is to present a set of optimization algorithms to solve the problem. Our purpose is to find a compromise solution between computational time and results close to the optimum value. The performance of the set of algorithms is evaluated through simulations using real world data collected from 32 web-stores. The quality of the results provided by the set of algorithms is compared to the optimal solutions for small-size instances of the problem. The optimization algorithms are also evaluated regarding scalability when the size of the instances increases. The set of results revealed that the algorithms are able to compute good quality solutions close to the optimum in a reasonable time with very good scalability demonstrating their practicability.
