    The article outlines the problem of the strategic evaluation of the enterprise relationships with the economic impact groups (stakeholders). This evaluation is a part of the strategic controlling and lies in quantifiable (absolute or relative) determining of the enterprise interests concerning the economic impact groups, its contribution to their activities and vice versa – interests and contributions of economic impact groups to the enterprise activity in order to balance their interests. Purpose – The article aims to justify the main objectives, indicators and methods of strategic evaluation of enterprise relationships with the economic impact groups. Design/Methodology/Approach – In the article, which is the result of a case study, the methodological basis of the study is fundamental provisions on enterprise development strategy in the context of its cooperation with economic impact groups and methods of strategic evaluation of this cooperation.Findings – Methods of strategic evaluation of enterprise cooperation with the main economic impact groups have been developed.Originality/Value – Scientific substantiation of possible ways of strategic evaluation of enterprise cooperation with internal and external economic impact groups feasibility and effectiveness.Article type – Original paper.

    Opis:
    The work contains a description of a developed experimental and theoretical method of modeling of solid waste combustion in a device equipped with a moving grate and capability to optimize the work of waste incineration plant. Implementation of this issue was based on results of experimental studies made on a laboratory scale boiler. This was possible by defining and testing indicators of quantitative assessment of combustion such as: reaction front rate, ignition rate, the rate of combusted mass loss and the heat release rate. These indicators as measurable "criteria indicators" allow transfer of parameters from a laboratory-scale unit, working in the transient egime into an industrial full scale grate device working continuously in stable determined conditions. This allows for wide optimization possibilities in the operation of a waste incineration plant, in particular the combustion chamber, equipped with a moving grate system.

    Theoretical background: The need for national industrial revival requires the assessment process of the financial and investment components of industrial potential, since such process allows for the development of a further strategy of industrial development of the country, taking into account the available opportunities as well as implementing effective government controls aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the national economy.Purpose of the article: The development of a methodological foundation for a complex economic assessment of financial and investment components of industrial potential.Research methods: A comparative analysis was used to study methodological approaches to the economic assessment of potential, laying the groundwork for conceptual foundations of a comprehensive economic evaluation of the financial and investment components. The types of analysis used were: a system analysis – to set the system of assessment indices and indicators of financial and investment components of industrial potential; an integral assessment analysis – to determine the integral levels of the potential development for certain types of industrial activity based on standardisation of indicators reflecting the development of financial and investment components; a statistical analysis – to identify changes in the development level of the financial and investment components of potential for certain types of industrial activity; and an abstract-logical analysis to draw conclusions and formulate theoretical generalisation of the obtained results.Main findings: Our research collected the experiences of former scientists and developed methodological bases in order to study industrial potential as a complex economic category, the development of which is conditioned by the development level of its financial and investment components. The authors’ approach to a comprehensive economic assessment of the financial and investment components of industrial potential is based on the identification of both input and output indicators. Such allocations allowed the determining of the reproductive potential of the financial and investment components as a potential opportunity to attract relevant resources, as well as implemented potential, which characterises the effectiveness of their use (the opportunity used). Next, the input indicators were further split into general indicators – which are characterised by quantitative parameters of the scope of the resources, and reflect the involvement scale – and partial indicators, which reflect the qualitative resources characteristics. The proposed integrated indicators of the development levels of financial and investment components have a complex hierarchical structure. For example, the first level generates a set of indicators that provide for a qualitative and quantitative assessment of the development state, the second level determines the integral indices in terms of individual types of indicators, while the third level is based on the potential type (reproductive and implemented). A modified Harrington’s scale was proposed to draw a conclusion on the development level achieved for the financial and investment components of industrial potential. Research was conducted using the methodology proposed, on the development levels of financial and investment components of potential for various types of industrial activity. The results showed the existence of a high level of both reproductive and implemented potential in the production of computers, electronics and optical devices, and basic pharmaceutical products, which demonstrates the technological progress in the structural industrial potential transformation. The proposed methodological approach will allow for the definition of a “critical area” in the financial and investment components development necessary for the adoption of appropriate management decisions with regard to adjusting industrial potential development strategies.

    The article aims to analyse the development of tools, and assess the resource potential for industrial enterprises in Ukraine, and it also discusses the ways of forming a scientific research methodology. The success of the functioning of an economic entity is determined by the level of resource availability, their structure, the rate of renewal, the efficiency of use and the level of specialization. The scope of an enterprise determines all of these factors by its resource potential. Economists are looking for the best solutions for its evaluation, and thus various ways of previously known and tested methods of improving are proposed.     Artykuł ma na celu analizę rozwoju narzędzi i ocenę potencjału zasobowego przedsiębiorstw przemysłowych na Ukrainie, a także omówienie sposobów kształtowania metodologii badań naukowych. O sukcesie funkcjonowania podmiotu gospodarczego decyduje poziom dostępności zasobów, ich struktura, tempo odnawiania się, efektywność wykorzystania oraz stopień specjalizacji. Zakres przedsiębiorstwa determinuje wszystkie te czynniki poprzez jego potencjał zasobowy. Naukowcy ekonomiści szukają najlepszych rozwiązań do jego oceny; proponowane są różne sposoby dotychczas znanych i sprawdzonych metod doskonalenia. Autorzy zwracają uwagę, że nie ma obecnie jednolitej metodologii oceny potencjału zasobowego przedsiębiorstwa w realnym sektorze gospodarki. Istniejące narzędzia pomiarowe to odrębne wskaźniki charakteryzujące efektywność przedsiębiorstwa. Jednak dla pełnej oceny konieczne jest, aby była wszechstronna i systematyczna. W związku z tym zaproponowano procedurę i system wskaźników do oceny głównych rodzajów zasobów, które może zastosować każde przedsiębiorstwo przemysłowe w celu poprawy jego wydajności.

    This article addresses selected methodological aspects of a process based management system based on analysis of hazards and threats and risk evaluation for an oil port infrastructure in context of insurance. The oil port terminal is regarded as important system of the critical infrastructure that require careful system oriented approach to deal with integrated aspects of environmental, safety and security management to reduce risk of potential consequences of abnormalities and accidents, especially major accidents with catastrophic consequences. The risk of potential economic losses should be also minimised applying in practice an effective business continuity management system. Careful evaluations of relevant risks carried out for the oil port infrastructure are crucial also for the insurance company. Some requirements and activities of the risk engineer and the underwriter in the insurance process are outlined including important factors influencing risks. It is emphasised that determining and evaluating a set of key performance indicators based on data from site audits and analyses can be useful for the safety management of the oil port and its insurance.

    The necessity of enterprise rating activity based on multiple criteria, as well as the significance of selfrating in modern business environment has been proven. The tools for enterprise rating evaluation, including structure methods for rating, and a system of indicators for rating evaluation of the enterprise’s functioning were developed. Thereupon, technology of enterprises rating evaluation was improved and the procedure for selecting functional strategies for their activities according to rating results (partial and complex ratings and rankings) was proposed.

    There is a need for vehicle relocation, whether for delivering new vehicles to their selling destinations, pulling inoperative or damaged vehicles out of traffiic, or removing illegally parked vehicles from the street. The relocation of illegally parked vehicles in the City of Zagreb is done by constantly monitoring parked vehicles or through citizen telephone alerts. The paper analyses the vehicle relocation service of the Zagrebparking company, which, in addition to overseeing car park management in public car parks and garages, is in charge of removing illegally parked vehicles. Due to the cyclic nature of its operations, a high share of empty rides, high vehicle investment costs, small quantities of cargo transported, high fuel prices, and high fuel consumption in the urban environment, Zagrebparking’s Vehicle Relocation Department operates with unnecessarily high costs. In this paper, vehicle relocation efficiency is analysed by presenting indicators of vehicle utilisation as part of a systematic evaluation of the company. Improvements to the current service are also provided.

    The work presents a methodology that allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of the system in accordance with accepted standards in terms of the three components of the “passenger–carrier–department” system, taking into account the interests of each side. The given comprehensive effectiveness evaluation of the urban public passenger transport system shows that a new scientific idea consists in forming fundamentally new sets of indicators for each participant of the system (passenger–carrier–department of transport) that correspond to the conditions of functioning of the urban passenger transport system in Russian Federation. The article presents a classification model for the formation of a basic system of indicators and a functional scheme for grouping and ranking them. The effectiveness of the urban public passenger transport system can be considered separately for each participant in the system from its side, in two directions: horizontal (by year, for example, for an enterprise) and vertical (in the current period for all participants).
