Opis:: Environmental protection policy is a multi-faceted issue which interests researchers in different branches of knowledge. The implementation of solutions of the environmental protection may take different forms among which are legal instruments. One of those legal instruments is the environmental protection policy. The aim of this article is to analyse this policy and to evaluate its functioning in the Republic of Poland as one of the public policies. Furthermore, a crucial part of this article is to define the environmental protection policy, national environmental policy and its legal bases. What is more, the article will present the analysis of purposes, directions and areas included in the Polish National Environmental Policy - 2030. To make this analysis complete it is required to indicate symptoms of the sustainable development in the environmental protection policy. As a main tool of consideration, the dogmatic-legal method, has been used. The analysis of the main topic consists of legal acts and literature on the subject (containing Polish and foreign scientific publications).

Opis:: The main goal of the research is to develop a set of guidelines for the development of business within the framework of the green industry, in compliance with all current environmental regulations, as applied to the realities of the current economic situation in China. The methodology basis is a combination of system analysis of the key principles of business development within the framework of environmental strategy in China with a comprehensive analysis of green industry concept as a factor limiting the activities of enterprises to avoid environmental pollution. The results obtained in the research indicate the presence of significant results in the interaction of government and business in the framework of mutually beneficial collaboration for the growth of the green industry. Chinese business structures invest in the development of “green” industrial and manufacturing technologies while ensuring the necessary level of environmental protection.

Opis:: The article focuses on identifying priority areas for greening and sustainable development for OECD countries and Ukraine. They aim to achieve overall progress in the interaction between the economy and the environment. Additionally, the aim is to create prerequisites for encouraging innovation and investment to find new sources of economic growth that are compatible with ecosystems that are capable of recovering from damage. It has been demonstrated that although the global goals of greening economies are relevant for all countries, they must be tailored to the regional and national specificities, as well as each country’s level of economic development. The study used general qualitative and quantitative methods of economic research, including systematic, comparative analysis, methods of logical and statistical analysis, and index method, among others. The applied theoretical and methodological approach allowed us to identify general trends in the development of environmental factors in the OECD countries and Ukraine and their impact on economic growth. Specifically, the study analyzes the current state of affairs and perspectives for greening and sustainable development based on a comprehensive assessment of the level of greening in these economies and the relationship between the internal ecological environment – assessed using the indicators of “green growth” – and their economic development. The article also justifies priorities for greening and sustainable development and suggests practical measures for their implementation. They can serve as a basis for developing a policy of effective environmental management and elaborating a national system of environmentally friendly management and administration.
Artykuł koncentruje się na określeniu priorytetowych obszarów ekologizacji i zrównoważonego rozwoju dla krajów OECD i Ukrainy, mających na celu osiągnięcie ogólnego postępu w interakcji między gospodarką a środowiskiem, a także stworzenie koniecznych warunków wstępnych do wspierania innowacji i inwestycji w celu znalezienia nowych źródeł wzrostu gospodarczego, zgodnych z ekosystemami wykazującymi zdolność regeneracji. Udowodniono, że chociaż globalne cele gospodarki ekologicznej są istotne dla wszystkich krajów świata, muszą być dostosowane do specyfiki regionalnej i krajowej, a także do poziomu rozwoju gospodarczego każdego kraju. W badaniu wykorzystano ogólne jakościowe i ilościowe metody badań ekonomicznych, w tym analizę systematyczną, porównawczą, metody analizy logicznej i statystycznej, metodę wskaźnikową i inne. Zastosowane podejście teoretyczne i metodologiczne pozwoliło zidentyfikować ogólne trendy rozwoju czynników środowiskowych w krajach OECD i na Ukrainie oraz ich wpływ na wzrost gospodarczy. W badaniu przeanalizowano w szczególności obecny stan i perspektywy ekologizacji i zrównoważonego rozwoju w krajach OECD i na Ukrainie w oparciu o wyniki kompleksowej oceny poziomu ekologizacji tych gospodarek oraz relacji między wewnętrznym środowiskiem ekologicznym – ocenianym za pomocą wskaźników „zielonego wzrostu” – a ich rozwojem gospodarczym. Artykuł uzasadnia również wprowadzenie priorytetów w zakresie ekologizacji i zrównoważonego rozwoju, a także sugeruje praktyczne środki ich realizacji. Mogą one służyć jako podstawa do opracowania polityki skutecznego zarządzania środowiskiem i opracowania krajowego systemu zarządzania i administracji przyjaznego środowisku.

Opis:: Crucial problem of transport in the cities, as a source of pollution of the environment, are uncontrolled individual motorization, permanently increasing number of motor vehicles on the roads and streets that expels human primary need for walking. Reduced social area is also loaded with vibrations and increased sound pressure which often exceeds recommended 80 dB/A. Accent is on ecological problems caused by: polluted air, which comes from gas emissions (full of aerosol, metals, dust, soot, smoke), cutting and disappearance of green areas in order to provide space for transport, making huge amount of secondary waste (e. g. tyres, metal, used oil, liquids). To improve present sequences and reduce negative effects in the future it is necessary to take different measures: fiscal, administrative, educational, which will restrict use of individual, particularly car traffic. Same measures should be used to encourage users to use public transportation. Transport in the cities, with all weaknesses and comparative advantages, should be separately analyzed mode of road transport and also be an individual part in strategic documents. The most important questions that such strategy of transport in the cities should include are: regulation, privatization or other more efficient mode of organization in public transport of passengers, as well as urban elements of sustainable development of the urban areas and transport.
Podstawowym problemem transportu w miastach, jako źródła zanieczyszczeń środowiska, jest niekontrolowana indywidualna motoryzacja, notorycznie zwiększająca ilość pojazdów na drogach, która wypiera podstawową potrzebę człowieka, jaką jest chodzenie. Zmniejszone obszary nie będące ulicami są narażone na wibracje i zwiększony hałas, który często przekracza zalecane 80 dB/A. Akcent postawiono na problemy ekologiczne spowodowane przez: zanieczyszczone powietrze, które pochodzi z emisji spalin (pełne aerozolu, metali ciężkich, pyłu, siarki i dymu), wycinanie zielonych obszarów w celu zapewnienia odpowiedniej przestrzeni dla transportu, tworzenie dużej ilości odpadów (na przykład opony, metal, zużyte paliwo, ciecze). Aby poprawić obecne następstwa i zredukować negatywne efekty w przyszłości, konieczne jest podjęcie różnych kroków: fiskalnych, administracyjnych, edukacyjnych, które ograniczą indywidualne użytkowanie samochodów i ograniczą ruch. Transport w miastach, ze wszystkimi swymi słabościami i zaletami, powinien być osobno analizowanym rodzajem transportu i być osobną częścią w dokumentach strategicznych. Najważniejsze sprawy, które taka strategia transportu powinna obejmować to: regulacje, prywatyzacja lub zorganizowanie innych bardziej wydajnych rodzajów transportu publicznego pasażerów, jak również miejskie elementy ciągłego wzrostu obszarów miejskich i transportu.
