Opis:
The term entrepreneurship has been seen from a productive perspective, tending towards the development of business ideas. However, today it is also associated with the strengthening of skills and attitudes on a personal level. In Colombia, Law 1014 of 2006 regulates entrepreneurship as part of academic training, at all educational levels. Despite it being an initiative raised by the government, concrete actions on the subject are being directed by teachers in classrooms. For this reason, the views of high school teachers, through the lens of qualitative research, are essential for exploring the reality that education occupies in this aspect, and that increasingly highlights some obstacles which hinder its progress. Therefore, the aim of this article – immersed in the framework of a doctoral thesis about the practices of entrepreneurship among high school teachers in public schools in Bogotá – is to expose which actions have been aimed at integrating entrepreneurship into Colombian high school education from the experience of teachers, as well as to unveil their criticism of the absence of the entrepreneurial process from the first grades established in the law, the role of the National Service of Learning (SENA) as an important institution in Colombia related to entrepreneurship in the classrooms, the lack of a more human vision that is less focused on production in entrepreneurship education, and the huge gap in teacher training in the area.

Opis:
Education system and the teacher are ascribed a vital role in the knowledge society. Learning and education outcomes greatly depend on the teacher’s qualifications, motivation and personality features. In accordance with the idea of making academic studies more practical, teachers’ entrepreneurial competences gain more and more significance. The role of the teacher in market economy is frequently associated with the organisation of educational process (learning), becoming a natural leader and developer of an attractive educational offer. The paper discusses physical education teachers’ managerial competences. In order to evaluate the level of these competences, surveys were conducted among physical education graduate students majoring in PE teaching. The analysis encompassed several skills recognised as characteristic for entrepreneurial competences of university graduates. It was stipulated that the level of managerial competences acquired in the course of studies deviates considerably from the expected one.

Opis:
The interest in education for entrepreneurship in primary and secondary schools constantly rises and it arouses a need to examine its impact on certain entrepreneurial characteristics. Not much research focusing on this topic has been conducted as yet. Research usually shows its positive impact on the intention to do business. In this study, we examined the mutual relation of five variables: pupils’ entrepreneurial spirit, pupils’ attitude to entrepreneurship, the school education focus on entrepreneurship, teachers’ influence and the influence of their relatives-entrepreneurs. To collect data, we used ASTEE questionnaire. The researched sample consisted of 268 pupils from primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic. Only medium or small correlation values were found between the researched variables, which means that the formation of pupils’ entrepreneurial spirit and attitude to entrepreneurship is not principally influenced by the learning content about entrepreneurship and by teachers. The findings can support the opinion that education for entrepreneurship and preparation for entrepreneurship is more effective in a thought-out entrepreneurial ecosystem.
