Opis:
Smart farming is about managing a farm using modern information and communication techniques in order to increase the efficiency and quality of plant and animal production and to optimise human labour inputs. It is an inseparable part of a sustainable agricultural economy, where energy-saving and low-emission solutions are of particular importance, e.g. in livestock construction. Animal buildings are one of the main building elements of a farm. The paper presents the use of modern solutions that may result in lower energy consumption, and thus lower operating costs of the building. They also reduce the consumption of natural resources and the emission of pollutants, and ensure animal welfare and safety of the operators’ work. Rational use of energy depends, among others, on from the used insulation materials for the construction of livestock buildings, technical equipment, i.e. lighting, heating, ventilation, as well as zootechnical devices. The profitability of livestock production can also be supported by the use of solar, wind, water and biomass energy. Photovoltaic cells, solar collectors, wind turbines, heat pumps and agricultural biogas plants are used for this purpose.

Opis:
The purpose of the article is to create a mechanism for making investments by enterprises and institutional participants in the building energy cluster. The authors explore the possibility of attracting additional financial resources for implementing energy saving measures through issuance of municipal bonds and compensatory financing on the basis of tax deductions (Tax Increment Financing – TIF). The study of the practice of local borrowing in Ukraine has demonstrated the fragmented nature of the existing system. However, provided the appropriate regulatory and legal framework and the experience of other countries are taken into account, the development of the local borrowing market can be a source of financial resources for the implementation of energy saving projects. According to the results of the study of the financial compensatory technology "Tax Increment Financing" (TIF), proposals for the formation of a mechanism for making investments by enterprises and institutional participants in the building energy cluster are provided, where its structure identifies the levers, tools, methods of funding energy-saving measures, the coordination center of the energy cluster has been determined and participants of this integration formation are proposed.

Opis:
Residential and public buildings use for heating more than 40% of the total energy consumption in the European Union. Therefore, this paper discusses the modifications to the building energy standard, which is currently in force. It is based on the requirements included in the Polish technical building regulations and standards. The proper energy-saving police have been implemented to this kind of consumers to diminish the energy consumption. The analysis pertains to the values of heat transfer coefficients of building partitions as well as the indexes of the energy demand for various types of buildings. The analysis was conducted between 1974 and 2013. Moreover; the changes within this range, which will come into force in 2014 and will continue to 2021, which act in accordance with the technical requirements suitable for buildings, were also discussed. Furthermore, minimal thicknesses of insulation materials which enable meeting this requirements of a heat transfer coefficient for building partitions, were examined in the article.

The article introduces selected aspects of creating material sets for an external wall connection with a balcony slab. The integral part of this work are calculations and analyses concerning the thermal quality of joints with balcony slabs produced using various construction and material solutions. Proper selections of the material layers of a building case in regards to thermal aspects and humidity essentially influence the building demand for energy (EU, EK i EP) and pollutant emissions into the natural environment.

Opis:
Rapid economic, environmental changes and finite energy resources dictate the need for rational use of energy. Civil engineering is the sector responsible for the highest energy consumption. Therefore, efforts should be made to reduce the energy consumption of construction works in progress. An indispensable factor of development is the introduction of modern technologies. Contemporary architectural thought aiming at increasing the share of transparent facades may be helpful in achieving these goals. This is an important aesthetic aspect. Large panes of glass give the building a modern character, but also visually increase the space and passively allow you to acquire large amounts of heat. Despite the difficulties and costs associated with the construction and operation of high-rise buildings, they are erected more and more often, also in Poland. Modern technology and advanced calculation theory make it possible to build these structures much more economically than previous conventional systems. In this paper, I present a variant static analysis of a tall building structure with large glazing.
