    The article provides information on relationships and dependencies between education and human security. The author tries to combine these two areas (levels) of meaning into one whole, giving them a uniform form of definition – the concept of safety education. This concept includes elements such as values, attitudes, human awareness, counteracting threats, a sense of security or institutionalism. The content of the article consists of two main parts: determinants of the safety education process and the essential social and cultural threats to human existence. Much attention has been devoted to the risks to personal security. The main idea of the article proves that personal (human) safety together with a sense of peace and stagnation as well as structural safety have a fundamental impact on the sense of security of individuals.

    Opis:
    In a small child education, an important place is occupied by the need to shape active attitudes towards personal and public security as well as acquiring knowledge about what favors and what endangers health. The article presents the results of a research conducted in the kindergartens in Bydgoszcz, concerning the assessment of safety rules compliance by preschoolers in various interlocking contexts. The study covered such safety areas as: road traffic safety, fire prevention, safety at the time of undertaking various forms of activity including play, safety in contact with plants, animals as well as medicines and chemical agents. As a result of the collected research material analysis it was established that the level of safety rules compliance is generally high, and is differentiated by such factors as: family environment, gender, local environment and educational and didactic conditions in a kindergarten.
    W edukacji małego dziecka ważne miejsce zajmuje konieczność kształtowania czynnych postaw wobec bezpieczeństwa własnego i innych oraz przyswajania wiedzy o tym, co sprzyja, a co zagraża zdrowiu. Artykuł jest prezentacją wyników badań prowadzonych w bydgoskich przedszkolach dotyczących oceny przestrzegania zasad bezpieczeństwa przez przedszkolaków w różnych kontekstach zależnościowych. Badaniem objęto takie obszary bezpieczeństwa, jak: bezpieczeństwo ruchu drogowego, profilaktyka przeciwpożarowa, bezpieczeństwo w czasie podejmowania różnych form aktywności, w tym zabawowej, bezpieczeństwo w kontakcie z roślinami, zwierzętami oraz lekarstwami i środkami chemicznymi. W wyniku analizy zebranego materiału badawczego ustalono, że poziom przestrzegania zasad bezpieczeństwa jest na ogół wysoki, a różnicują go takie czynniki, jak: środowisko rodzinne, płeć, środowisko lokalne oraz warunki wychowawczo-dydaktyczne w przedszkolu.

    Military classes in Poland can be defined as classes of lower secondary and upper secondary schools, which carry out broadly defined education for safety and participate with the Ministry referred to by their name. Also, the programmes of these classes are enriched with issues related to the defence of the country, the history of the Polish army and the evolution of patriotic attitudes among children and young people. Military classes in Poland are very popular among both teachers and students. The purpose of this article is to examine military classes in Poland, with particular focus on experience in this field, as well as an indication of capabilities, and, thus, the developmental prospects of these classes. The analysis was carried out starting with a presentation of the origins of functioning military classes, after which the current possibilities of building programmes of these classes were presented. In the next part of the work the author has carried out a preliminary diagnosis of the functioning of military classes. Subsequently, the proposal of a programme of military classes, which was developed at the National Defence Academy in Warsaw in 2014, is revealed. The whole article ends with a summary and conclusions.

    The desire to live a safe life is one of the most important human needs, while education is the basis of knowledge of the society as a whole. To ensure the safety of the individual and the security of the state, there is a need for stable cooperation between various security institutions. There are many safety education institutions that work for the needs of state security. These include the Education for Safety Bureau, the post of Education for Safety Inspector, the post of School Safety Coordinator, School Safety Clubs, etc. The aim of this paper is to describe the situation in education based on safety education teaching in the 21st century. Other objectives include indicating tasks and rational solutions in education on the basis of the principles introduced by scholars, such as J.A. Comenius, J. Locke, I. Kant, which remain valid to this day.

    The purpose of the article is to indicate important aspects related to education for safety in hierarchically structured institutions, such as uniformed services, taking the State Fire Service as an example. Proper preparation of hierarchically structured institutions is the key to eliminating threats or effectively removing the effects of their occurrence. The key element in preparing services for activities is education for safety, in particular professional development as a process of systematic and continuous professional activity aimed at updating, expanding and deepening knowledge and skills related to the profession. The State Fire Service as a rescue service has implemented a professional improvement system that prepares firefighters to correctly and effectively provide help in the event of a hazard to life, health and property and the environment, the functioning of this system is the subject of consideration in the following article.
    Celem artykułu jest wskazanie ważnych aspektów związanych z edukacją dla bezpieczeństwa w instytucjach zhierarchizowanych, jakimi są służby mundurowe, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Państwowej Straży Pożarnej. Odpowiednie przygotowanie instytucji zhierarchizowanych jest kluczem do niwelowania zagrożeń lub efektywnego usuwania skutków ich występowania. Elementem kluczowym w przygotowaniu służb do działań jest edukacja dla bezpieczeństwa, w tym szczególnie doskonalenie zawodowe jako proces systematycznej oraz ciągłej aktywności zawodowej mający na celu aktualizowanie, rozszerzanie oraz pogłębianie wiedzy i umiejętności związanych z wykonywanym zawodem. Państwowa Straż Pożarna jako służba ratownicza posiada wdrożony system doskonalenia zawodowego, który przygotowuje strażaków do prawidłowego i skutecznego niesienia pomocy w przypadku zagrożenia życia, zdrowia i mienia oraz środowiska. Funkcjonowanie tego systemu jest przedmiotem rozważań w poniższym artykule.

    Opis:
    The system o of air education and trainings functioning currently inn countries organized in ICAO association was presented in this work Authors payed attention to the fact, that specialistic air -trainings are entered into existing national educational systems. The security of passengers and crews of aerodynes is a most important matter in the air transport. Not only practical trainings, but also theoretical trainings and the b background knowledge of the candidate on the flying staffer there have the essential influence on the security level. This fact was illustrated in the article with several examples, which illustrate typical, though often underestimated, aspects of the organization of educational systems and trainings, especially theoretical trainings. In spite of intensive searching authors of the article did not manage to reach a case study from the range of the methodology of air-trainings , understood as a multistage process, which lasts practically through the entire life of the airman. Mabe this results from the fact that an aviation is created by technicians, and the theory of the education is a domain of humanists who do not understand the world of the technique. Presented work can be therefore treated as the invitation to the assumption of common interdisciplinary research.
    Od zarania dziejów człowiek próbuje przeciwdziałać zagrażającym mu niebezpieczeństwom i opanować wrogie sobie żywioły. Źródłem sukcesów w tej walce jest wiedza zbierana przez pokolenia. Ta wiedza jest przekazywana działającym w warunkach zagrożenia osobom przez systemy edukacji i szkoleń. Te systemy są jednak bardzo niedoskonałe. Dlatego, zdaniem autorów, ludzie wykonujący konkretne zadania i podejmujący związane z tym decyzje popełniają błędy, prowadzące do zdarzeń niebezpiecznych, wypadków i katastrof, których teoretycznie można byłoby uniknąć. Od wielu lat, a nawet od wielu wieków prowadzone są poszukiwania najlepszego systemu instrukcji edukacji i szkoleń osób odpowiedzialnych za bezpieczeństwo. Stworzono wiele systemów dedykowanych do każdego obszaru działania. Te systemy pracują dobrze, ale mogłyby pracować lepiej. Jednym z powodów tego stanu rzeczy jest brak współpracy specjalistów z zakresu bezpieczeństwa różnych obszarów, brak transferu wiedzy oraz niedocenianie szczególnej roli ogólnego wykształcenia technicznego. Autorzy tej pracy przedstawiają różne systemy edukacji używane w inżynierii bezpieczeństwa, opisują ich wady i zalety i proponują zmiany wiodące do poprawy efektywności. Przedstawiona opinia jest wynikiem analizy wielu zdarzeń i incydentów wypadkowych oraz zawodowych doświadczeń autorów pracujących jako nauczyciele akademiccy i inżynierowie bezpieczeństwa.

    The subject of the research conducted for the purpose of this article was the crisis generated by the COVID 19 pandemic, which continues to spread around the world. An attempt was made to define the current and anticipated consequences of the pandemic in terms of several areas of the broadly understood concept of safety. Purpose: The purpose of the article was to present one of the possible methods for examination of the multidimensional safety problems generated by the pandemic at a national and international level. Method: The article was prepared using a problem based approach and elements of the heuristic method: the new look method and the analogue method The research part was, in turn, based on critical document analysis. Results: The article demonstrates the possibilities offered by a holistic research perspective and the need for an inter and transdisciplinary approach. On the basis of the current experience with the pandemic, several theoretical models were suggested for examining the consequences of COVID 19 and prepare for similar challenges in the future The applicability of these models was previously tested empirically in relation to the crisis management system in Poland. Conclusions: The conclusions may have cognitive and practical value, especially in relation to safety systems and the related subsystem of health safety, as well as for education.
