The article presents a computer algorithm to calculate the estimated operating cost analysis rail bus. This computer application system compares the cost of employment locomotive and wagon, the cost of using locomotives and cost of using rail bus. An intensive growth of passenger railway traffic increased a demand for modern computer systems to management means of transportation. Described computer application operates on the basis of selected operating parameters of rail buses.

Opis:
The multifunctionality is one of the most important aspects of the sustainable development in the regional economy management. There are essentially two approaches to the analysis of multifunctionality. One is to interpret multifunctionality as a characteristic of an economic activity. The second way of interpreting multifunctionality is in terms of multiple roles assigned to agriculture. In this view, agriculture as an activity is entrusted with fulfilling certain functions in society. Social functions are linked to employment and income generation in rural areas and hence sustaining the viability of rural communities and maintaining rural society. The study evaluates the influence of external and internal factors on development of social capital in the selected region and authors will focus mainly on the impact of local stakeholders and policy measures. The interaction between relevant stakeholders as public sector, civil society, local business sector and primary sector is expected to be beneficial for development of social capital.
Multifunkcjonalność jest jednym z najważniejszych aspektów zrównoważonego rozwoju regionalnego zarządzania gospodarką. Zasadniczo istnieją dwa podejścia do analizy multifunkcjonalności. Jednym z nich jest interpretowanie multifunkcjonalności jako cechy działalności gospodarczej. Drugi sposób interpretacji multifunkcjonalności tyczy się wielu ról przypisanych do rolnictwa. Z tego punktu widzenia, rolnictwu jako działalności powierzone jest pełnienie określonych funkcji w społeczeństwie. Funkcje społeczne powiązane są z zatrudnieniem i generowaniem dochodów na obszarach wiejskich, a tym samym z utrzymaniem rentowności społeczności wiejskich i utrzymywaniem społeczeństwa wiejskiego. Badanie ocenia wpływ czynników wewnętrznych i zewnętrznych na rozwój kapitału społecznego w wybranym regionie i autorzy skupią się przede wszystkim na wpływie lokalnych interesariuszy i środków politycznych. Oczekuje się, że interakcja pomiędzy zainteresowanymi podmiotami, jak sektor publiczny, społeczeństwo obywatelskie, lokalny sektor biznesu i sektor surowcowy będzie korzystna dla rozwoju kapitału społecznego.

The article presents a new method of selecting operating parameters of vehicles which allows to prolong their useful life. The theoretical and practical aspects of the new approach were discussed. The key methods of optimizing the use of vehicles and their transport routes were analysed. The proposed method of selecting operating parameters of transport vehicles was based on elements of the dynamic programming model using heuristic algorithms. A model and then an algorithm and a computer program for selecting operating parameters for vehicles were developed.

W artykule opisano zastosowanie zielonej gospodarki na rzecz stałego rozwoju agroekosystem na Ukrainie. Na podstawie porównania definicji "stałego rozwoju" i "zielonej gospodarki" stwierdzono, że zielona gospodarka jest organizacyjną i ekonomiczną podstawą dla stałego rozwoju. Przeprowadzono analizę agroekosystemów Ukrainy i stwierdzono prowadzenie ekstensywnej metody prowadzenia gospodarki rolniczej, co prowadzi do pogorszenia stanu ekologicznego ekosystemu rolniczego. Zaproponowano mechanizm zarządzanie stałego rozwoju agroekosystem na Ukrainie w oparciu o koncepcję "zielonej gospodarki"
Some possibilities to apply green economy in order to achieve sustainable development of agro-ecosystems in Ukraine are described in the article. On the basis of the comparison of such definitions as “sustainable development” and “green economy” it was concluded that green economy is organizational and economic fundamentals for sustainable development. The analysis of agro-ecosystems of Ukraine is performed and the extensive method of farming leading to the deterioration of the ecological conditions of agro-ecosystems is determined. Management mechanism of sustainable development of agro-ecosystems in Ukraine based on the concept of “green economy” is suggested.
В статье описана возможность использования зеленой экономики для обеспечения устойчивого развития агроэкосистем в Украине. На основе сравнения дефиниций «устойчивое развитие» и «зеленая экономика» сделан вывод, что зеленая экономика выступает организационно-экономической основой обеспечения устойчивого развития. Проведен анализ агроэкосистем Украины и отмечено экстенсивный способ ведения сельского хозяйства, что ведет к ухудшению экологического состояния агроэкосистем. Предложен механизм управления устойчивым развитием агроэкосистем в Украине на основе концепции «зеленой экономики».

This article is dedicated to the economic mechanism of the dynamic sea port logistic (transport) cluster in the economy of the Odessa region. The need to transition to the new cluster structures and their implementation into the Ukrainian economy is caused by the high degree of efficiency, as well as the influence, which the ports and logistics businesses have on the economy of the country. In this paper, models of influence of transport and logistics companies in the form of cluster on the effectiveness of foreign economic activity of the Odessa region are associated with the State Enterprise "The Odessa Sea Commercial Port". The results can be used at sea ports, transport and logistics, and other industrial enterprises, as well as to create sea port dynamic clusters. Defined and described in the paper models and mechanisms are universal, so they can be used for the calculations to improve the efficiency of foreign economic activity in different regions.

Pursuant to the statistics data of Eurostat, the economy of European Union is slowly recovering from year lasting recession. The gross domestic product volume increased in 2nd quarter of the year 2013 by 0,3%. The industrial companies in EU are nevertheless facing still increasing competitiveness as the European and global markets are developing under current business conditions. To be successful within the frame of current supply chains the companies must have well-developed logistics management systems to effectively treat with flows streaming in their inner or outer supply chains. One of the main elements of company logistics management systems is inventory management subsystem to plan, to manage and to control particular stock items. In the paper it is briefly described the methodics to design effective inventory management system whether in industrial or service company (Hart, Musil & Taraba, 2014).

The aim of this paper is to present the influence of information technologies (IT) on the organization structure, particularly in the context of virtual organizations’ (VO) development. The work describes examples and new models of virtual organizations. Subject connected with this type of organization is comparatively young and has appeared in the Internet era. Thanks to the development of communication technology enterprises can function in more elastic and competitive way: in innovative virtual forms. This new type of organizations will enlarge their market share. There are possibilities to reduce costs and be more competitive in the same time. Electronic and computer systems make the fundaments of the virtual organization management. Main activities of such organization are: information flow control, planning, production, service, distribution of products, and promotion. In the global economy virtual projects can be perceived as an optimal model of the organization activity. The new organizations are aiming to reinforce their competitive position, as well as to increase the profitability; they have also to take care of the smallest project details, the exact control of costs and optimisation of schedules. Virtual projects and organizations are still not well recognized. New researches should be taken up in this field.

Most for-profit organisations must constantly improve their business strategies and approaches to remain competitive. Many of them choose to embark on Lean or Six Sigma journeys with the intention of maximising productivity and increasing sales. Despite a significant progress in the development of the Big 3 Improvement Methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints - TOC), many manufacturers are still involved in ineffective operations, resulting in longer-than-desired lead times, late deliveries, high inventories and considerable operational costs. All of these business errors seriously challenge the company's competitiveness. The aim of the paper is to demonstrate the importance of effective analysis of maintaining the appropriate level of inventory in gaining a competitive advantage of the company using the company's key resources in the competitive struggle on the market while conducting continuous reporting of reasons for not achieving the assumed business goals, and using the principles of the economy of bandwidth in order to maximize the profitability.

The effective management of logistics flows requires the right methodology and tools, which can be used on all managerial levels, including national. In particular, in the aspect of the real problem of increase of the effectiveness of Poland’s logistics system, it is necessary to develop a model of macro-logistics flows as a managerial tool to all its decision-makers. This real problem initiates scientific questions of a methodological character, in particular how to model the national input-output logistics flows, how to construct such a model, and some more general issues regarding the national logistics system, its aims and structure, if the model and modelling are assumed to be core management elements of the system. Thus, the national input-output logistics flows are the object of research, which is aimed to develop a model of these flows, especially in the case of the Polish economy. The above aim is carried out with the usage of the following methods: literature study, input-output table and Sankey diagram.
Skuteczne zarządzanie przepływami logistycznymi wymaga odpowiedniej metodologii i narzędzi, z których można korzystać na wszystkich poziomach zarządzania, w tym na poziomie krajowym. Zwłaszcza w aspekcie problemu zwiększenia efektywności polskiego systemu logistycznego konieczne jest opracowanie modelu przepływów makrologistycznych jako narzędzia zarządzania nimi przez decydentów. Ten problem rodzi pytania naukowe o charakterze metodologicznym – przede wszystkim, jak modelować krajowe międzygałęziowe przepływy logistyczne, jak zbudować taki model oraz niektóre bardziej ogólne kwestie dotyczące krajowego systemu logistycznego, jego celów i struktury, jeżeli zakłada się, że model i modelowanie stanowią podstawowe elementy zarządzania tym systemem. Zatem w niniejszym artykule przyjmuje się krajowe międzygałęziowe przepływy logistyczne za przedmiot badań, które z kolei mają na celu opracowanie modelu tych przepływów, szczególnie w przypadku polskiej gospodarki. Powyższy cel jest realizowany za pomocą następujących metod badawczych: studium literatury, tabeli przepływów międzygałęziowych oraz diagramu Sankeya.

The authors of the article examined the municipal waste management system in Poland in terms of the impact of European Union directives introducing a circular economy in the European Union countries. When assessing the functioning of the system, the social factor was taken into account, as municipal waste management has a significant impact on social life. For example, increasing costs of waste management, resulting in high increases in fees for garbage collection, cause opposition from residents. Lack of funds for the implementation of waste management tasks by municipalities may result in failure to comply with the obligatory recycling levels, which may result in imposing fines on the municipalities. In addition, recycling rates may not be met due to the coronavirus epidemy. It should be emphasized that, just as the introduction of municipal responsibility for waste management in 2012 was equated to a revolution called commonly the “junk revolution”, the conversion of the entire economy to a closed loop is an extremely difficult challenge for municipalities, as neglect of waste management may result in an ecological disaster.

There are only few religious organizations that are as controversial as the Church of Scientology. This religious organization is accused by their opponents of many negative practices such as ideological indoctrination, brainwashing or the economic exploitation of the followers and sympathizers of this “sect”. An interesting feature of the activities of this church, and a well-known one, too, is that it is very much interested in business management and “therapeutic contacts” with people who deal with in business management and “therapeutic contacts” with people who deal with managing companies. It church in question organizes various courses and trainings for groups of business leaders which, according to its critics, make people addicted to these practices. An important reason for the interest in business issue is, obviously, seeking profit, however, there are many indications that it is also important for this church to gain influence upon the development of management practices, and to control the most important people in the economy. The interest in businesspeople is also related to the very essence of the Church of Scientology, which combines its therapeutic effectiveness with management efficiency. All of this contributes to the phenomenon of the Church of Scientology currently having one of the most effective and, at the same time, one of the most controversial management systems of all contemporarily-active religious groups.

Development of waste management system in the European Union is studied. The waste management practice in a range of the EU countries is analyzed. Main principles of solving the problem of managing waste in the EU are revealed. Comparison of indicators for waste management in the EU and Ukraine is provided. The dominant European trends among other areas of waste – “zero waste” and “circular economy” – are identified. Hanrijhama is a medium size village in district East Midnapore of West Bengal, India and popularly known for its agriculture and its year ending folk-festival Gajon and Charak. The male-female ratio is higher than the average of the state. This village has a very high rate of literacy than the average rate of the state also. There is ample facility for education starting from pre-primary to high school education with two ICDS schools, one primary school and one higher-secondary school. However, for higher education, the villagers have to depend on the colleges located within its block and sub-divisional area. Agriculture is the main source of economy of the village. Although paddy is the main agricultural crop, but various vegetables are also cultivated by large amount to earn livestock of the villagers. The soil is also favourable for production of variety of crops. The village is rich with floral diversity with different species of plants. Although there are large wet land area and central canal for supplying water for cultivation but it is not sufficient. So huge water is harvested from the ground through deep tube well that is not favourable for sustainable development. So proper agricultural planning is required for sustainable environmental development. The year ending folk festival plays an important role in the economy of the village.
