Preceded by the debate, the 2016 implementation of the school reform in Poland brought serious organisational and program changes. These changes also concern entrepreneurship education, therefore the subject of the article is the discussion on the proposals of the Ministry of Education regarding changes to the school system, in the context of yet another comprehensive organisational and program reform of the Polish education system. The primary goal of the paper is to present the direction of change, based on the current research and discussions conducted by various forums. The author’s claims in this regard are based not only on his reflections but also on the voices presented by the participants of Kraków entrepreneurship conferences and conventions of teachers, as well as by the authors of the papers included in the previous volumes of this annual. Under the limited number of hours dedicated to the teaching of entrepreneurship in post-primary schools in general education, that is, compulsory for all pupils, the most important is the careful selection of objectives and content of entrepreneurship education. The article concludes with the presentation of the essential conditions influencing the success of the implementation of changes, mainly related to the appropriate preparation of entrepreneurship teachers.

Opis:
The architectural and structural analysis of selected high-rise buildings in Japan is presented in this paper. Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya have the largest share in development of high-rise buildings. Those cities are very densely populated and moreover they are located in one of the most active seismic zones. The combination of these factors has resulted in the creation of sophisticated designs and innovative engineering solutions, especially in the field of design and construction of high-rise buildings. The foreign architectural studios (Jean Nouvel, Kohn Pedesen Associates, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill) which specialize in the designing of skyscrapers, played a major role in the development of technological ideas and architectural forms for such extraordinary engineering structures. Among the projects completed by them, there are examples of high-rise buildings that set precedents for future development. An essential aspect which influences the design of high-rise buildings is the necessity to take into consideration their dynamic reaction to earthquakes and counteracting wind vortices. The need to control motions of these buildings, induced by the force coming from earthquakes and wind, led to the development of various methods and devices for dissipating energy during such phenomena. Currently, Japan is a global leader in seismic technologies which safeguard seismic influence on high-rise structures. Due to these achievements the most modern skyscrapers in Japan are able to withstand earthquakes with a magnitude of over seven degrees at the Richter scale. Applied damping devices applied are of a passive type, which do not require additional power supply or active type which need the input of extra energy. In recent years also hybrid dampers were used, with an additional active element to improve the efficiency of passive damping.

Opis:
A modified "Pareto principle" has been applied to the analysis of the temperature field in three-phase high-voltage cables. In the paper the temperature field is described by thirteen distinct parameters including the geometrical dimensions of the system. By solving the thermal conductivity equation 2p times, it is possible to determine the parameters belonging to set A, which exert a decisive influence on the temperature of the cable core. To describe the ABC sets elements of linear algebra are applied. The paper’s concluding notes present a preliminary optimization procedure of the system.

Opis:
Waveforms measured and recorded in a ferroresonant circuit are the base for many computations, including simulation of ferroresonance circuit over - current/voltage responses and modelling a nonlinear coil. During such a study of ferroresonance phenomenon, the time dependent nonlinear differential equations are derived from R – Ψ(i) – C ferroresonant circuit. The system of nonlinear equations is numerically solved using various algorithm applications. In applied mathematics, in particular the context of the nonlinear dynamical systems analysis, phase – plane/space graphs are a visual display of certain characteristics of kinds of differential equations. The aim of the paper is a full plane/space presentation of all possible states of a test circuit when the ferroresonance occurs. Poincare maps application is also mentioned in the paper.

The paper discusses possible roles of consciousness in a semiotic (meaning-making) activity of a cognitive agent. The discussion, we claim, is based on two related approaches to consciousness: on Chalmers’ theory of phenomenal and psychological consciousness and on Damasio’s neural theory, which draws a distinction between core and extended consciousness. Two stages of cognitive-semiotic processing are discussed: the moment of perception of a sign as a meaningful entity and the metasemiotic processes understood as the human capacity to reflect on signs and their usage, analyse and control processes of recognition, interpretation of signs and to detect and correct errors in semiotic activity. In the case of the first stage, it is argued that signs as meaningful entities have a distincly experiential character. The feeling of meaningfulness is a result of phenomenal consciousness, in particular a result of the so-called valuation features of phenomenal experience. I claim that this aspect of cognitive-semiotic activity is possible owing to a special neural mechanism called a semiotic marker. It is argued that semiotic systems have to be able to use signs as signs, i.e. they should display some metacognitive capacities, in particular an ability to analyse semiosis at a metalevel. It is argued that such metasemiosis is dependent on psychological consciousness (in Chalmers’ terms: awareness) and is realized at the neural level in the form of extended consciousness. The paper is based on a particular understanding of cognitive semiotics as a discipline involving analyses of cognitive processes as semiotic processes, i.e. processes requiring usage of signs.

In this paper, an efficient mapping of intellectual property (IP) cores onto a scalable multiprocessor system-on-chip with a k-ary 2-mesh network-on-chip is performed. The approach is to place more affine IP cores closer to each other reducing the number of traversed routers. Affinity describes the pairwise relationship between the IP cores quantified by an amount of exchanged communication or administration data. A genetic algorithm (GA) and a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) solution use the affinity values in order to optimize the IP core mappings. The GA generates results faster and with a satisfactory quality relative to MILP. Realistic benchmark results demonstrate that a tradeoff between administration and communication affinity significantly improves application performance.

In the modern world the alternative energy sources, which considerably depend on a region, play more and more significant role. However, the transition of regions to new energy sources lead to the change of transport and logistic network configuration. The formation of optimal core transport network today is a guarantee of the successful economic development of a region tomorrow. The present article studies the issue of advanced core transport network development in a region based on the experience of European and Asian countries and the opportunity to adapt the best foreign experience to Russian conditions. On the basis of artificial intelligence methods for forest industry complex of Sverdlovskaya Oblast the algorithm of problem solution of an optimal logistic infrastructure allocation is offered and some results of a regional transport network are presented. These methods allowed to solve the set task in the conditions of information uncertainty. There are suggestions on the improvement of transport and logistic network in the territory of Sverdlovskaya Oblast. Traditionally the logistics of mineral fuel plays main role in regions development. Actually it is required to develop logistic strategic plans to be able to provide different possibilities of power-supply, flexible enough to change with the population density, transport infrastructure and demographics of different regions. The problem of logistic centers allocation was studied by many authors. The approach, offered by the authors of this paper is to solve the set of tasks by applying artificial intelligence methods, such as fuzzy set theory and genetic algorithms.
В современном мире альтернативные источники энергии, которые в значительной степени зависят от региона, играют все более значимую роль. Однако переход регионов к новым источникам энергии приведет к изменению транспортно- логистического конфигурации сети. Формирование оптимальной опорной транспортной сети сегодня является залогом успешного экономического развития региона завтра. Настоящая статья изучает вопрос опережающего развития опорной транспортной сети региона на основе опыта стран Европы и Азии, а также возможность адаптировать лучший зарубежный опыт к российским условиям. На основе методов искусственного интеллекта для лесопромышленного комплекса Свердловской области предлагается алгоритм решения задачи оптимального логистического распределения инфраструктуры и представлены некоторые результаты моделирования региональной транспортной сети. Эти методы позволили решить поставленную задачу в условиях информационной неопределенности. Дать предложения по совершенствованию транспортной и логистической сети на территории Свердловской области. Зависимость логистики от минерального топлива, является устойчивой тенденцией развития регионов, однако при составлении стратегических планов необходимо на ряду, с плотностью населения, особенностями транспортной инфраструктуры и прогнозом демографических изменений, также предусмотреть альтернативные возможности смены источников энергоресурсов. К проблеме размещения логистических центров обращались многие авторы. Особенностью подхода, предлагаемого авторами этой статьи является применение методов искусственного интеллекта, в частности, теории нечетких множеств и генетических алгоритмов.

This paper addresses the problem of modeling the nonlinear coil used for ferroresonant circuit analysis. The effect of ferroresonance is described and a general modeling approach is presented. The hysteresis modeling problem is also shortly discussed, on the example of a ferromagnetic coil. A brief overview of available literature and contributors to this area are provided. A series RLC circuit supplied from an AC source is discussed. The application of the fractional derivative in the modeling of an iron core coil is presented and suggestions of model implementations are given. The computations performed are illustrated by means of waveform data obtained from computer simulations and compared with those obtained from measurements performed in a specially prepared laboratory setup.

Opis:
The article is a voice in the discussion on the changes entailed by the new reform of the Polish education system (introduced as of the 2017/2018 school year). An important part of it is the process of the cultural and literary education of 4–8th graders described in the core curriculum, who are described as representatives of the generation of “screen readers”. The assumed perspective enabled the author to present the possible directions of educational activities in the face of the developmental and socio-cultural needs of pupils growing up under the major impact of modern media and technology. The proposed solutions offer examples and encouragement for interpretative, reflective and creative reading and implementation of the binding core curriculum.
Artykuł jest głosem w dyskusji nad zmianami, które wiążą się z nową reformą polskiej oświaty (wprowadzaną od roku szkolnego 2017/2018). Ważną jej część stanowi projektowany w podstawie programowej proces kształcenia kulturowo literackiego uczniów klas 4–8, którzy są tu opisywani jako reprezentanci pokolenia „ekranowych czytelników”. Przyjęta perspektywa pozwoliła przedstawić możliwe kierunki postępowania dydaktycznego wobec potrzeb rozwojowych i społeczno-kulturowych uczniów wzrastających pod znacznym wpływem nowoczesnych mediów i technologii. Zaproponowane rozwiązania są przykładem i zachętą do interpretacyjnego, refleksyjnego, twórczego czytania i wdrażania aktualnej podstawy programowej.

It is theoretically considered one of the simplest particular cases of a variational problem of control in an active aviation system acting in conditions of multi-alternativeness and conflicts. With the help of the Euler-Lagrange equations it is obtained the canonical distributions of the subjective preferences for the given functional; differential equation of the second order for finding extremals of the controlled functions of the functional The differential equation satisfies the conditions of existence and unique solution. Mathematical modeling is fulfilled with the help of the hybrid pseudo-entropy function. Plotted corresponding diagrams.
