Opis:: According to the state program ‘Archive 2025’ for wide access to archival documents in Kazakhstan the web portal ‘Unified electronic archive of documents was launched’. At the moment, there is no information on the funds of the Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation on this site yet, but it is planned to add it to the electronic catalog in the future. For the successful implementation of data on documents stored in the funds of the Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, it is necessary to analyze which types of documents are most popular among the archive users (both in the reading room and when executing information requests by the archive) and which need to be translated into electronic format as a priority, for this purpose, the reports of the Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation were studied for the period from 1974 to 2021.

Opis:: This article presents the academic profile of Sir Charles Hilary Jenkinson, who in the first half of the 20th century had major influence on the development of Anglo-Saxon archival thought. The theoretical models and conceptual solutions he suggested have been a subject of academic reflection conducted in different parts of the archival world. The article contains the profile of H. Jenkinson in the context of professional experience, which found its reflection in the archival theory he presented. The text discusses the essential components of concepts and assumptions presented in the Manual of Archive Administration which remains the most famous and recognised book he authored. This article was created based on an analysis of materials which constitute the archival legacy remaining after H. Jenkinson and a review of Anglo-Saxon literature of the subject.
Artykuł przedstawia sylwetkę naukową sir Charlesa Hilarego Jenkinsona, który w pierwszej połowie XX w. wywarł istotny wpływ na rozwój anglosaskiej myśli archiwalnej. Zaproponowane przez niego modele teoretyczne i rozwiązania koncepcyjne były i nadal są przedmiotem refleksji naukowej prowadzonej w różnych częściach archiwalnego świata. Artykuł zawiera biogram H. Jenkinsona ukazujący kontekst doświadczeń zawodowych, które znalazły swoje odzwierciedlenie w przedstawionej przez niego teorii archiwalnej. W tekście omówiono kluczowe elementy pojęć i założeń zaprezentowanych w książce Manual of Archive Administration, która pozostaje najbardziej znanym i cenionym dziełem jego autorstwa. Artykuł powstał w oparciu o analizę materiałów składających się na spuściznę archiwalną pozostałą po H. Jenkinsonie oraz przegląd anglojęzycznej literatury przedmiotu.

Opis:: The Poznań Branch of the PAN Archive in Warsaw was established in May 1956. From April 1974, the headquarters of the Branch was located in the building of the Poznań Society of Friends of Sciences in Poznań. The Archive collects, pro- cesses and makes available archival materials on the activities of the Polish Aca- demy of Sciences and legacies of scholars. The legacies that form the backbone of archival resources are gathered through purchases, donations and deposits. Then they are compiled in the form of inventories and made available for re- search purposes. The collections of the Archive of the Polish Academy of Scien- ces in Poznań contain rich documentation of the history of science in Poznań and in Poland. They concern both scientific institutions, including laboratories, edi- torial offices and some institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Univer- sity of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań and other Poznań universities, as well as bio- graphies of individual scientists, especially those connected to Poznań and Great- er Poland. Archival collections with valuable materials related to groundbreaking events in the post-war history of Poznań and Poland are also interesting. Archival collections are also displayed at exhibitions and during scientific conferences. Archives from two legacies are available on the CYRYL portal – the Poznań Local Digital Repository.
