Some of pe roxide s : t r i a c e tone t r ipe roxide (TATP) , hexamethylenetriperoxidediamine (HMTD) have been used recently as "irregular" explosives for delinquency and international terrorism purposes. The intimate knowledge of properties and methods of analysis of these substances is necessary for experts. Forensic investigations of some peroxides explosives: triacetonetriperoxide (TATP) and hexamethylenetriperoxidediamine (HMTD) were carried out in this work. The detonation process of peroxides initiation by means of pyroxylin layer ignition was investigated, velocity of detonation at apparent density (ρ HMTD = 0.38 g/cm3, ρ TATP = 0.47 g/cm3) was measured by means of a Russian fotoregister GFR-3. These data were compared with literature detonation velocity values that had been measured at larger densities. The values of detonation velocities complement each other rather well, linear dependencies of D vs. ρ found at densities ρ = 0.35-1.2 g/cm3. The high sensitivity of the investigated analytical methods, that were applied (10-5 -10<-8 g) facilitate the determination of possible times for finding traces of TATP after an explosion. Time t = 6 hours after explosion is the critical time for finding peroxides traces of TATP on a metal surface by means of analytical methods used in this work.

Opis:
The contribution deals with the analysis of the present acquisition methods of spatial information about the objects with spatial composition. Although the field of acquisition of spatial information is quite extensive, attention is focused on the present most commonly used methods as spatial polar method, close-range photogrammetry and terrestrial laser scanning. Each of these methods has its specific characteristics resulting to advantages and disadvantages. The core of analysis is to test the accuracy of the achieved results obtained by measurement on the experimental point field. The contribution aim is to bring to reader the answers to the questions, which of these methods is suitable or unsuitable for the particular case of the spatial information acquisition in terms of statistical testing its accuracy.
Niniejszy artykuł dotyczy analizy obecnych metod pozyskiwania informacji przestrzennej o obiektach o kompozycji przestrzennej. Chociaż obszar pozyskiwania informacji przestrzennej jest dość obszerny, uwaga skupiona jest na aktualnie najczęściej używanych metodach takich jak przestrzenna metoda polarna, fotogrametria bliskiego zasięgu oraz naziemny skaning laserowy. Każda z tych metod ma swoje specyficzne cechy wynikające z wad i zalet. Rdzeniem analizy jest zbadanie dokładności wyników otrzymanych przez pomiar na obszarze eksperymentalnym. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie czytelnikowi odpowiedzi na pytania, która z tych metod jest odpowiednia bądź nieodpowiednia do konkretnego przypadku pozyskiwania informacji przestrzennej w kategoriach testów statystycznych jej dokładności.

The paper focuses on the mathematical models for the study of occupational injuries at the enterprises of the State Forestry Committee of Ukraine over a period of ten years. The major conditions and causes of the accidents have been indicated. The relationship between individual pairs of variables that influence occupational injuries has been determined on the basis of correlation and regression analysis. The correlation dependences of the frequency of occupational injuries on individual factors have been obtained. Using the methods of multifactor analysis, the relationship between the number of injuries and workers' occupations as well as types of works Has been established. The results obtained can be used for enhancing the efficiency of safety measures at the enterprises of for estry with the aim of reducing the rate of injury.

In the recent paper, non-linear methods of data analysis were used to study bubble departure synchronisation. In the experiment, bubbles were generated in engine oils from two neighbouring brass nozzles (with an inner diameter of 1 mm). During the experiment, the time series of air pressure oscillations in the air supply system and voltage changes on phototransistor were recorded. The analysis of bubble departure synchronisation was performed using a correlation coefficient. The following methods of non-linear data analysis are considered. Fast Fourier Transformation, autocorrelation, attractor reconstruction, correlation dimension, largest Lyapunov exponent and recurrence plot analysis were used to examine the correlation between bubbles behaviour and character of pressure fluctuations. Non-linear analysis of bubble departure synchronisation revealed that the way of bubble departures from two neighbouring nozzles does not depend simply on the character of pressure fluctuations in the nozzle air supply systems. The chaotic changes of the air pressure oscillations do not always determine the chaotic bubble departures.

Trans-Resveratrol, a natural polyphenol found in various plant species, has gained significant attention due to its potential health-promoting properties. This article reviews the biological activities attributed to trans-Resveratrol, its dietary sources, and the analytical methods employed for its quantification. The compound antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, cardioprotective, and neuroprotective activities are discussed in detail. Furthermore, the sources of trans-Resveratrol, including grapes, berries, and certain nuts, are examined in terms of their content variability and factors influencing production. Various chromatographic, spectroscopic, and immunoassay methods for the analysis of trans-Resveratrol in different matrices are also explored. This comprehensive overview underscores the significance of trans-Resveratrol as a potential molecule for enhancing human health and longevity.

Opis:
The aim of this paper is to examine the applying of economic-mathematical methods for evaluating the performance of corporate social responsibility in Ukraine. We identified a set of quantitative and qualitative indicators which can estimate the state of socially oriented business management. The results of the integral indicators calculating of socially oriented management allowed defining the coefficients which show the level of company’s reputation. The applying of fuzzy sets theory, methods of cointegration analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression allowed evaluating the performance of corporate social responsibility. The most important activities which impact on the performance of corporate social responsibility are good business practice in relation to suppliers and other business partners, competency management system, charity, sponsorship activities and regional employment rate.

The article presents the essence, nature and importance of strategic analysis as one of the key elements of a successful enterprise development. The authors give the basic definitions of strategic analysis using business vocabulary and other views. The basic methods of strategic analysis are present. The influence of external and internal environment of the activities of the company is analyzed and in accordance with this, the classification of the methods of strategic analysis is carried out. The authors came to the conclusion that methods of strategic analysis of internal environment of the enterprise includes: the method ‘tree of aims’, LOTS method, MOST model. Methods of strategic analysis of external environment of the enterprise include: Ansoff’s product/ market growth matrix, Cooper portfolio matrix, Model of ‘5 competitive forces by Porter’, the BCG model, New BCG matrix, GE/ МcKinsey matrix, Thompson and Striklend method, ‘7S’ McKinsey, ADL/ LC matrix, Hofer/ Schendel model, PEST analysis. Methods of strategic analysis used in the study of external and internal environment includes: Abel model, SWOT analysis, Shell/ DPM model, PIMS model, SPASE analysis, Seiners matrix. Presented strategic analysis methods have been extended to the latest achievements in the field of economic analysis. Last part presents possibility to use analytical production function to estimate total labour productivity in the enterprise. Methods of strategic analysis illustrate the potential of internal and external environment, analytical production function allows to measure the effectiveness of the use of this potential.
Artykuł prezentuje istotę, charakter i wagę analizy strategicznej jako jednego z kluczowych elementów udanego rozwoju przedsiębiorczości. Wykorzystując terminologię biznesową, autorzy przytaczają podstawowe definicje i metody analizy strategicznej oraz prezentują różne inne poglądy. Autorzy dokonali analizy wpływu środowiska zewnętrznego i wewnętrznego na działalność firmy i biorąc pod uwagę powyższe czynniki, sklasyfikowali metody analizy strategicznej. Doszli do wniosku, że metody analizy strategicznej wewnętrznego środowiska przedsiębiorstwa obejmują: metodę „drzewko celów”, metodę LOTS oraz model MOST. Natomiast metody analizy strategicznej zewnętrznego środowiska przedsiębiorstwa obejmują: matrycę produktu i wzrostu rynkowego Ansoffa, portfolio Coopera, model „pięciu sił konkurencyjnych Portera”, model BCG, matrycę nowego modelu BCG, matrycę GE / McKinseya, metodę Thompsona i Striklenda, matrycę „7S” McKinseya, matrycę ADL/LC, model Hofera / Schendela oraz analizę PEST. Metody analizy stosowane w badaniu strategicznego środowiska zewnętrznego i wewnętrznego zawierają: model Abella, analizę SWOT, model Shell/DPM, analizę modelu PIMS, analizę SPASE oraz matrycę Seinersa.

How we function in social reality is determined by various types of cognitive schemas. These concern people, social events and other phenomena. According to the concept offered by various postpositivist currents, including postmodernism, poststructuralism and critical theory, such schemata cannot be objective. The most important element of postmodern considerations is the discovery of the arbitrary nature of modernity. This means rejecting the Enlightenment belief in progress. Innovation, understood as modernity resulting from human reason, is illusory in the postmodern perspective. Innovation consists precisely in a rejection of the myth of the existence of some absolute, objective truths that constitute the social order. The world is textual, made up of many alternative narratives. Definitions, including legal definitions, are socially constructed. They arise from specific social conditions, at a particular stage of development of a particular group. The assumption made by postmodernists is that language, including professional language – such as the language of law or legal language – is neither neutral nor transparent. The innovative power of this language lies in its use of narratives that influence the functioning of social groups of varying degrees of complexity. It is therefore necessary, adopting a postmodern interpretation, to look at the text of legal language in a similar way as we look at other texts. That is, to see in the narrativity of this language structural similarities with other texts that constitute social reality.

Hard coal mines and mining enterprises involved in hard coal exploitation in the area of the Upper Silesian Coal Basin (Górnośląskie Zagłębie Węglowe) are characterised by the presence of natural hazards typical of this type of exploitation. These hazards include the risks related to methane, coal dust explosion, endogenous fires, as well as rock burst and caving of roof rocks. The article presents the results of a taxonomic analysis aimed at determining the similarity of hard coal mines and mining enterprises in Poland in terms of the dangerous incidents caused by the risks related to methane, coal dust explosion, endogenous fires, as well as rock burst and caving of roof rocks. The analysis was carried out for the 2008-2018 data and encompassed a total of 26 hard coal mines and mining enterprises located in the Upper Silesian Coal Basin. The analysis was performed using the k-means method of non-hierarchical clustering. The main objective of the article was to determine homogenous groups (clusters) of mines exhibiting the greatest similarity in terms of dangerous incidents caused by the activation of natural hazards in the years 2008-2018. These data can be successfully used for the development of preventive measures and risk analyses for these enterprises.

The paper presents definitions and relative measures of the system sensitivity and sensitivity of its errors. The model of a real system and model of an ideal measuring system were introduced. It allows to determine the errors of the system. The paper presents also how to use the error sensitivity analysis carried out on the models of the measuring system to the correction of the nonlinearity error of its static characteristic. The corrective function is determined as a relation between the input variable of the tested system and its chosen parameter. The use of the proposed method has been presented on the example of a phase angle modulator. The obtained results have been compared with the results of analytic calculations. The idea of a phase angle modulator is also presented.

In the paper the problem of the cast iron substitute thermal capacity estimation is discussed. This parameter appears when the macroscopic mathematical model of alloys solidification bases on the one domain method (fixed domain approach). In the case of cast iron the form of function describing the course of temperature-dependent thermal capacity is quite complex. Using the experimental data, in particular the measured cooling, heating curves at the set of points selected in the casting – mould domain the identification problem has been solved using the gradient methods. The results presented concern the gray iron 3.21% C and 1.9% Si.

The comparative analysis of the standard of living of the population is significant from the viewpoint of evaluation of economic changes as well as determination of the distance between countries with regard to social development. The goal of the article was to compare, using the methods of multidimensional comparative analysis (MCA), the standard of living in the countries of the European Union using a single indicator. This indicator, as an aggregated value, synthesizes the information from all variables defining a complex phenomenon, enabling a comparison of countries with regard to the standard of living. The point of departure for the research was a creation of a set of variables, divided into 8 subgroups: health care, labour market, salaries, housing conditions, education, culture and recreation, communication, environmental protection, and social benefits. On the basis of this group of variables, a comparison of the European Union countries between 2006 and 2011 was made, specifying the position of Poland, with regard to the standard of living of inhabitants and evaluation of the extent of Poland’s similarity to other EU countries. The source base of the articles was information from secondary sources: Internet sites, publications on European statistics, as well as data published by the GUS (Central Statistical Office of Poland).

This paper presents the methods for the evaluation of budget variance risk, i.e. the risk of a difference between the budgeted and actual figures. The postulated approach is based on extreme value analysis (EVA), to offer, among other things, the evaluation of maxima distribution parameters for studied phenomena. The proper recognition of these parameters yields potential for calculation of probabilities for budget variance to pass certain levels established as critical. This methodology can be used to evaluate deviation levels by time period, and to compare them against historical data. The main objective of this paper was to examine the utility of the theory of extreme values in the estimation of budget deviation risks. The study presents the results of probabilistic analyses of data obtained from a budgetary cost control unit of a production company located in eastern Poland, for the period of 2011-2012. The developed method of analysis and assessment of budget deviations is in line with the development of concepts and methods of management accounting.
