Opis:
One of the directions of the heavy duty machine is the operator cabin construction, which provides a high level of comfort. Adequate control of active suspension drives can reduce low frequency and large amplitude vibrations occurring in a number of cabin degrees of freedom. The main link of the mechanism is the platform with cab suspended on two rockers and one actuator. Article proposes methods for determining the length of suspension arms, the width of the platform and centres of the joints, which are connected to the suspension. It has been proved for the flat case that if the momentary centre of rotation of the platform relative to the machine frame is located inside the road roughness zone is a single drive can effectively reduce transverse vibration and angle vibration around the longitudinal machine axis. Further conditions that determine links size are to prevent from peculiar positions, to avoid collision between cab wall and suspension joints. Presented relations between the height of the waist rough roads, wheelbase machine, cab mounting height on the machine and the dimensions of the link suspension mechanism. Presented dimensional calculation results cab suspension links dedicated to Caterpillar 924 GZ loader. Assuming the vertical driving cab calculated inaccuracy of its transverse displacements. Presented the results showing influence of the cab assembly height on the cabin mounting links dimensions.

In this paper, an analysis is performed on a quarter-car model of car suspension with semi- -active and active damper utilizing the sliding mode (SMC) and linear-quadratic control (LQR). The effect of control parameters and time delays in the transmission of control signal on the factors related to the safety and comfort of driving is investigated. The results obtained from numerical simulations are shown in form of frequency characteristics for several selected performance factors.

The paper deals with the control design of semi-active seat suspension systems. A semi-active vibration control strategy basing on the inverse dynamics of a spring or damper element and a primary controller is studied. The optimisation procedure proposed in the paper makes it possible to calculate controller settings and these, in turn, to define vibroisolation properties of semi-active suspension systems.
W pracy przedstawiono sposób projektowania systemu sterowania semi-aktywnym układem zawieszenia siedziska. Analizowano algorytm sterowania semi-aktywnego, który bazuje na modelu odwrotnym elementu sprężystego lub tłumiącego oraz na kontrolerze głównym. Procedura optymalizacji zaproponowana w pracy dodatkowo wspomaga dobór nastaw regulatora, ktore to nastawy definiują właściwości wibroizolacyjne semi-aktywnego układu zawieszenia.

The steam turbine blades of low pressure stages are endangerd by the high-cyclic fatigue due to the combined loading of dynamic stresses by the steam time-variant pressure and the pre-stress from centrifugal forces. Therefore, the importance of their experimental dynamic analysis in the design stage is critical. For laboratory tests of the blades, the piezo actuators placed on the blades, unlike electromagnets placed in the stationary space, give a possibility to excite the flexural vibration of the blades within the bladed disk by time continuous forces independently of the rotor revolutions. In addition, the piezo actuators can be also used to control the vibrations of the blade. Therefore, several dynamic experiments of the clamped model blade equipped with PVDF films were performed for the force description of the piezo foils and their behavior as actuators of the blade vibration. The numerical beam models were used for numerical analysis of the vibration suppression effects both by additional parametric excitation and by active damping. The optimal phase shift of piezo actuator voltage supply was ascertained both for amplitude amplification and suppression. The results contribute to the knowledge of the actuation and active damping of blade vibration by the piezo elements.

In this paper, analysis of a half-car model with linear and nonlinear semi-active dampers is performed. Using Matlab-Simulink software, a response of the system to a harmonic excitation of variable frequency and to an impulse excitation is found. The effect of both the distribution of spring-supported mass and the asymmetry of the support on the frequency characteristics of velocities and displacements at the mounting points of the dampers are analyzed. Additionally, characteristics of forces generated by the semi-active dampers and the response of the system when crossing an obstacle are determined.

The paper concerns an effect of the damping force controlling a vehicle suspension system. The investigated vehicle suspension system consists of innovatory Vacuum Packed Particles controllable dampers which allow controlling the vehicle body vibration. The main objective of performed and presented in the paper studies is to determine properties of the Vacuum Packed Particles (VPP) damper and propose a preliminary control strategy. The control in the vehicle suspension system can be realized by controlling the underpressure resulting in various jamming mechanisms in the granular core. Some algorithms of vibration control are also proposed and discussed.

When a reduction of vibration amplitude usually designers resort to dampers based either on dry friction, internal material damping or fluid viscosity, each one of these mechanisms having its peculiar field of application. To improve performance while at the same time reducing costs and environmental load, electromagnetic damping devices are finding new applications, beyond the fields where they have a long history. Moreover, electromagnetic dampers can be easily controlled, obtain active or even ‘intelligent’ vibration control. Three examples from the internal combustion engines, automotive and gas turbine fields are discussed in some detail to show the potential advantages of this technology.
