Opis:: Solutions of Industry 4.0 cover more and more areas of the economy. In logistics, digitization applies to each of the functional areas. Introducing IT solutions in logistics leads to an increase in the reliability of communication, faster stock rotation, and a higher level of service. It enables higher work efficiency and overall productivity. Changes in work productivity in three warehouses as a result of the implementation of a WMS class system and accompanying necessary changes in the equipment and organiza tion of warehouse space was analysed in this work. The source of data for the analysis was the measurement of labour productivity for 12 months: three months before the implementation of the WMS and nine after its implementation. Work productivity after the implementation of the WMS increased by 40% compared to the level before it. The period of introducing WMS and obtaining an increase in personnel productivity was at least six months. Labour productivity in the analysed period increased in each month of the analysis. Only one of the three warehouses showed stabilization of workforce productivity at a level 50% higher than before the implementation. The research results confirm that the presence of WMS in the warehouse makes it possible to reach a significant increase in work productivity in warehouses.

Opis:: Products should always be accurately identified, regardless of the type of warehouse and the specificity of stored products. Proper acceptance of a given product into a warehouse is the basis for the implementation of subsequent warehouse processes and affects the optimization of the entire logistics chain. Appropriate marking and marking of the location of products deposited in the warehouse is currently determined by an IT system that supports companies in organizational, technological and administrative activities. The aim of the article is to present a model of the process of identification of products accepted and placed on a warehouse using the Anteeo WMS information system.
Produkty powinny zawsze być dokładnie zidentyfikowane, niezależnie od rodzaju magazynu i specyfiki przechowywanych produktów. Właściwa akceptacja danego produktu w magazynie jest podstawą do realizacji kolejnych procesów magazynowych i wpływa na optymalizację całego łańcucha logistycznego. Odpowiednie oznakowanie i oznaczenie lokalizacji produktów zdeponowanych w magazynie jest obecnie określane przez system informatyczny, który wspiera firmy w działaniach organizacyjnych, technologicznych i administracyjnych. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie modelu procesu identyfikacji produktów przyjętych i składowanych w magazynie przy użyciu systemu informatycznego Anteeo WMS.

Opis:: The aim of the article was to present research on the application of information systems in optimizing warehouse processes. The theoretical aspects describing the fundamentals of warehouse processes were discussed. The theoretical foundations of information systems were also developed, with particular emphasis on systems used in warehouse processes. The results of conducted research among manufacturing organizations with complex warehouse processes were presented, which declared the implementation of ERP, WMS, and SCM systems. Based on the research findings, conclusions were drawn along with the direction of development in the area of digitizing warehouse processes.

Opis:: The article presents some aspects concerning the application of Information and Computer Technologies in logistics processes. In order to improve management processes the integrated informatics and communication systems, dedicated applications and hardware solutions are used increasingly. The market offers a variety of solutions developed strictly for Transport and Logistics consisting of a multitude modules and applications meeting standard and non-standard requirements of supply chains. Specified solutions are used in warehouses and other types of logistics facilities realizing internal transport. A useful tool for supporting management of warehousing processes in logistics facilities is Warehouse Management System with RFiD technology for information collection and advanced planning. The RFiD is identification technology using radio waves for reading and recording information about products, logistics units or equipment on electronic chip. Construction of RFID systems largely depends on the destination of the system. The special attention is paid to the use of RFID technology to manage transportation system in warehousing facilities. The main features of RFiD technology are discussed.

Opis:: This paper presents possibilities for the utilization of spatial information derived from various sources (GPS field measurements, map scanning, data resources in centres for land survey and cartography documentation, orthophotomaps, WMS and WFS data, map Websites). It also draws attention to potential problems encountered in the process of data integration with the use of state-of-the-art processing technologies and making available geographical information. The authors also introduce the issue of the quality of processed data in the aspect of their accuracy and reliability, and the possibility of their incorporating into Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) resources.
W artykule przedstawiono możliwośd wykorzystania informacji przestrzennych pochodzących z różnych źródeł (pomiary terenowe GPS, skany map, zasoby danych w ośrodkach dokumentacji geodezyjnej i kartograficznej, ortofotomapy, dane WMS i WFS, serwisy mapowe). Opisano także potencjalne utrudnienia napotykane w procesie integracji danych z zastosowaniem najnowszych technologii przetwarzania i udostępniania informacji geograficznej. Autorzy poruszają także temat jakości przetworzonych danych w aspekcie ich dokładności i wiarygodności oraz możliwości włączenia do zasobów infrastruktury informacji przestrzennej (IIP).

Opis:: An elaborately designed system has been devoted to the recovery of the line shape function of absorption spectrum. Laser power passing through trace gas has been divided into the real-time and delayed components, and their difference, i.e. the equivalent of the first-order derivative spectrum, is recorded and integrated to reconstruct the absorption line profile. Since the real-time and delayed signals are derived from the only gas cell and photodetector, the elimination of background is more effective, relative to the general used double beam detection that involves two gas cells and photodetectors. Compared with the 1st harmonic detection used in the wavelength modulation spectroscopy, here the generation of derivative spectrum is achieved without modulating the injection current of laser. Additionally, the expensive lock-in amplifier working for wavelength modulation spectroscopy is replaced by a homemade device, which is made of an all-pass filter and an instrumentation amplifier. Therefore, the complexity and cost are significantly reduced, and the stability is improved. For the purpose of validation, recovering of the absorption spectroscopy is carried out using a methane sample at its R(3) absorption line of the 2ν₃ overtone, and the obtained data are found to be in a high agreement with theoretical deductions.

Opis:: In the mining industry there is a lack of good standards of creating the mining maps. Such documents are usually issued by non-free software for commercial purposes. Main aim of this article is to analyze the possibilities free and open standards for style spatial data, in according to Polish law and norms. Achieving this goal was possible because of system using Web Services, also based on open software and standards. This article presents installation and configuration of a geospatial service system based on free and open source software: GeoServer, PostGIS and OpenLayers. The sample vector mine data were converted and saved in the spatial database PostGIS and then they were published by using geodata server GeoServer as Web Map Service. Next there were created the portrayal styles of the mining maps elements. The main aim was the adaptation to Polish PKN norms: Mapy górnicze. Umowne znaki granic (Mining maps. Conventional symbols of borders) and Umowne znaki podziemnych wyrobisk górniczych (Conventional symbols of underground excavations). For these styles there were used SLD and SVG OGC standards. Last step was connected with creation of geospatial web services client using OpenLayers. It allowed to display maps just in web browser.
W pracy przedstawiono instalację i konfigurację systemu usług geoprzestrzennych opartych na oprogramowaniu typu „open source”: GeoServer, PostGIS oraz OpenLayers. Pozyskane przykładowe wektorowe dane kartograficzne mapy wyrobisk górniczych zostały skonwertowane oraz zapisane w przestrzennej bazie danych PostGIS, a następnie za pomocą serwera danych przestrzennych GeoServer zostały udostępnione w postaci usługi WMS. W kolejnym etapie stworzono style wyświetlania poszczególnych elementów mapy górniczej w celu dostosowania ich do norm górniczych PKN: Mapy górnicze. Umowne znaki granic oraz Umowne znaki podziemnych wyrobisk górniczych. Wykorzystano do tego standardy SLD oraz SVG, które posłużyły do resymbolizacji kartograficznej. Ostatnim krokiem było opracowanie klienta usług geoprzestrzennych przy użyciu biblioteki OpenLayers, który umożliwił wyświetlenie mapy w środowisku przeglądarki internetowej.
