    The efficiency of the aircraft exploitation process is a problem, to which more and more attention is paid not only in the commercial aviation, but also in the military one. One of the factors, which have a direct impact on its level, is the operated aircraft or helicopter technical readiness that is the ability of airworthiness when there is a need to use them in order to perform specific aviation tasks. In turn, the aircraft technical readiness level is affected by a number of factors, the most important of which include its characteristics, technical service system and logistical security system. This paper is devoted to the issue connected with the aircraft technical readiness assessment as well as identification of factors, which have an impact on its level, and also their impact level analysis. Furthermore, the particular attention was paid to technical services. The research results of a few types of aircraft in terms of the technical service malfunction and damage impact on their technical readiness level were also presented. At the end, the importance of such an approach and the possible use in practice were emphasised.

    One of the problems becoming increasingly important in the exploitation process of each technical object is effectiveness expressed as a ratio of the value of obtained results to the related expenditure. There are several criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of the exploitation process. However, in their selection, it is necessary to take into account the characteristics not only connected with a concrete object or system, but also with a model of its use. In civil aviation, especially in case of airlines and various kinds of service companies, the effectiveness of exploitation system of the aircraft fleet is assessed primarily in economic terms. However, in military aviation, due to its characteristics, slightly different criteria must be applied. In practice, the effectiveness of such systems is usually assessed based on the index of technical exploitation readiness, which specifies the system readiness to execute the agreed tasks within predetermined time. This paper presents selected aspects of technical readiness related to the exploitation system of trainer aircraft in military aviation. The issues connected with determining the total flying time, conducted within the framework of the training cycle, are discussed. The factors affecting the state of technical readiness related to the exploitation system of the aviation technology as well as methods for determining the required number of aircraft to perform the tasks planned for a given period and the index of available service life resources.

    Today, executives from the system of maintenance of technical systems for special purposes (military combat vehicles), are trying to improve their organizational processes and create competitive advantage through increasing the quality of maintenance services (increase effectiveness), reducing the total cost (increase efficiency) and reduce the maintenance cycle-time. One of the possible ways for improvements in the maintenance system is the application of lean concept of maintenance, by usage of different tools as 5S, Layout, Visual systems, Kanban and new developed “Technical system maintenance” tool. In order to gain a better understanding of this concept, the paper presents a new developed maintenance model for the application of the lean concept in the real maintenance system. The results of empirical and experimental testing of the proposed model are analysed based on Analysed of methods and effects of improvements (IMEA), Benchmarking methods and multi-criteria, 22 analysis by using the statistical software application MINITAB. The special character of experimental testing are obtained regression equations that describe the changes of the duration of the maintenance cycle, depending on the applied lean tools. The obtained results show that the duration of maintenance cycle is reduced for about 23%, the improvement of maintenance effectiveness is around 14% and the efficiency is showing an upward trend.
    W dzisiejszych czasach, kadra kierownicza zarządzająca systemami utrzymania ruchu układów technicznych specjalnego przeznaczenia (np. wojskowych pojazdów bojowych) stara się usprawniać procesy organizacyjne i tworzyć przewagę konkurencyjną poprzez podniesienie jakości usług serwisowych (zwiększenie efektywności), redukcję kosztów całkowitych (zwiększenie wydajności) oraz skrócenie czasu trwania cyklu eksploatacyjnego. Jednym z możliwych sposobów udoskonalenia systemu utrzymania ruchu jest zastosowanie pojęcia szczupłego utrzymania ruchu z wykorzystaniem różnych narzędzi, takich jak 5S, Layout, Visual systems, kanban oraz nowo opracowanego narzędzia "Obsługi Ruchu Systemu Technicznego". Aby lepiej zrozumieć tę koncepcję, w artykule przedstawiono nowo opracowany model obsługi technicznej, który pozwala na zastosowanie koncepcji szczupłego utrzymania ruchu w rzeczywistym systemie obsługi. Wyniki empirycznych i eksperymentalnych badań proponowanego modelu analizowano na podstawie analizy metod i efektów doskonalenia IMEA, metod benchmarkingowych oraz analizy wielokryterialnej 22 przy użyciu oprogramowania statystycznego MINITAB. W badaniach eksperymentalnych otrzymano równania regresji, które opisują zmiany czasu trwania cyklu eksploatacyjnego w zależności od zastosowanych narzędzi. Uzyskane wyniki wskazują, że przy zastosowaniu proponowanej metody czas trwania cyklu eksploatacyjnego ulega skróceniu o około 23%, efektywność utrzymania ruchu wzrasta o około 14%, a wydajność wykazuje tendencję wzrostową.

    Readiness and reliability is a special attribute of rescue systems (army, police, fire service), where performance at the highest level is more important than economic efficiency. For this reason, special attention is given to the process of renewal of technical objects. In such systems, a preventive strategy is most often used. Though this is a safe model, it does not always take into account the specifics of the use of a technical object. Moreover, in some situations, it forces the end of life of a device that could still continue to operate as intended. The article analyzes precisely such technical objects, removed from operation after just 10 years of use. It was shown that such approach is not justified and that modern management strategies must be implemented also in relation to machinery and equipment operating in rescue systems. The most important achievements of the article are the use of reliability analysis methods in the systems where it is not common, and the indication of the benefits of such analysis. It has been shown that knowing the characteristics of reliability, you can consciously control each process and make decisions in this regard based on the technical condition of the facility and not on instructions. In the case under study, this would make it possible to undermine the decision to withdraw the analyzed objects from operation.

    This article seeks to address the pressing issue of developing the innovative activity of the domestic economy through the use of the potential of small and medium-sized enterprises, which has to do with the possibility of application of existing experience of the more developed foreign countries in order to achieve economic success. The purpose of this study is to examine the trends in the development of innovative activity of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine, as well as to determine the distribution of the total amount of expenditures by areas of innovation. Analysis of the literature on this issue has shown that the economic development of a country depends on many factors, and the use of intellectual potential is quite a significant factor in modern society. The relevance of this issue is supported by the fact that the majority of developed countries that have high levels of national income and are distinguished by the quality of life of the population are introducing the latest innovative inventions and using them appropriately in: production, agriculture, trade and other fields of activity. The research of the development of innovation activity of small and medium-sized enterprises in the article is carried out in the following logical sequence: analysis of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine, analysis of small and medium-sized enterprises of EU countries, evaluation and comparison of innovation activity of Ukraine and EU countries. The methodical tools of the study included methods of statistical analysis. The study period was 2010-2018. The object of analysis is the process of development of innovation activity of small and medium-sized enterprises, as they are the majority of enterprises in Ukraine. The article presents the results of the analysis of the state of innovation the activity of small and medium-sized enterprises, which showed that our country needs significant transformation in this direction. Studies show that increasing the turnover and the production of small and medium-sized enterprises depends on the level of innovative development. The results of the study may be useful for small and medium-sized enterprises.
