The article highlights the results of modern entertainment buildings design in Kielce performed by Ukrainian and Polish students. Opis:
The aim of the study was to investigate the possibility of using optimization methods for the design of energy-saving microclimate control system in specialized agricultural buildings, such as mushroom-growing cellars or storage of potatoes as well for the microclimate control in these facilities. The results of simulation studies have shown that the use of optimization in microclimate control systems in specialized agricultural buildings enables implementation of the variables depending on the needs of the control strategy (e.g. control during which energy consumption is minimized or technological losses are minimized). This is not possible in the systems currently in use.
Celem pracy było zbadanie możliwości wykorzystania metod optymalizacji podczas projektowania energooszczędnego systemu sterowania mikroklimatem w specjalistycznych obiektach rolniczych, takich jak pieczarkarnie czy przechowalnie ziemniaków, a także podczas sterowania mikroklimatem w tych obiektach. Wyniki badań symulacyjnych wskazały, że zastosowanie optymalizacji w układach sterowania mikroklimatem w specjalistycznych budynkach rolniczych umożliwia realizację zmiennych, zależnych od potrzeb strategii sterowania (np. sterowania podczas którego minimalizowane jest zużycie energii lub minimalizowane są straty technologiczne). Nie jest to możliwe w aktualnie stosowanych układach.

Opis:
The problem of the verification of constructional solutions of prototype objects considered in the aspect of exploitation requirements is discussed in the study. The object’s reliability was assumed as the assessment criterion. The proposed assessment-decision model allows reliable assessments of each realised enterprise, if the prototype reliability in real conditions is lower than the project requirements.
W artykule omówiono zagadnienie weryfikacji rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych obiektów prototypowych w aspekcie wymagań eksploatacyjnych. Jako kryterium ocenowe przyjęto niezawodność obiektu. Zaproponowany w opracowaniu model ocenowo-decyzyjny pozwala na dokonywanie miarodajnych ocen każdego realizowanego przedsięwzięcia modernizacyjnego w przypadku, gdy niezawodność prototypu w warunkach rzeczywistych jest niższa od wymagań projektowych.

We present a flexible, formal framework for maintenance scheduling for public facilities. Key features of the model include an accelerating deterioration scheme, a general utility measure, and real estate market effects in the salvage function. The model is rich enough to capture a range of stylistic scenarios pertaining to public facilities while remaining simple enough to allow formal analysis of the optimal maintenance schedule. Based on our analysis, we draw a phase diagram that classifies the generic behavior of the optimal solution. We illustrate our analysis in numerical examples that highlight essential trade-offs and the time dependence of the facility maintenance problem. Under simplifying assumptions, we also derive the basics of an exact solution.

Opis:
The article presents an algorithm for digital image processing of astronomical objects in order to effectively determine the position of these objects. The proposed method has been optimized due to its effectiveness of removing noise and distortion caused by atmospheric turbulence and imperfections in long exposure photography of astronomical objects. This solution is ready for implementation in a system for automatic identification of stars in the recorded images. Such a system is designed for GoTo circuits at telescope’s drives, which can automatically point a telescope to astronomical objects. The method was verified by simulation in MATLAB program on real images of astronomical objects.

In the context of developing automated optical inspection system, this work brings into focus the aspect of de-velopment of evaluation algorithms for thickness distribution extraction from the object model reconstructed after surface scanning. Within this work an algorithm for the evaluation of local differences between two triangle meshes is presented. The pair of triangular meshes is representing the front and backside of a scanned 3D-object. The resulting array of differences vector corresponds to the shortest local distances (i.e. local thickness) between sides of object.

The article concerns the problem of imbalanced data classification. Two algorithms improving the standard SMOTE method have been created and tested. To measure the distance between objects the Euclidean or the HVDM metric was applied, depending on the number of nominal attributes in a dataset.
Artykuł dotyczy problemu klasyfikacji w przypadku, gdy mamy do czynienia z klasami niezrównoważonymi. W tym celu stworzone zostały dwa algorytmy poprawiające wyniki uzyskiwane za pomocą standardowego algorytmu SMOTE. Do pomiaru odległości między obiektami zastosowano metrykę euklidesową lub metrykę HVDM, w zależności od liczby cech nominalnych w zbiorze.

The paper concerns the quantitative assessment of the availability of the groups of machines of the two different types of construct /design/ – traditional and modular, which perform the same functions and in the analyzed groups constitute koon-type reliability structures. The main aim is to determine the size of the differences in the availability and reliability of such groups of machines at different values of the characteristics regarding the failure rate and renewal of their subassemblies and modules. The solution to the problem was obtained through digital simulation, for which the model and assumptions were developed by the authors. The obtained results indicate that the groups of the machines of modular construct /design/ are characterized by better reliability and availability, which may constitute one of the guidelines in the process of making investment decisions and planning the use and maintenance of this type of machines.
Artykuł dotyczy ilościowej oceny gotowości grup maszyn o dwóch różnych typach konstrukcji: tradycyjnej i segmentowej, które pełnią te same funkcje i w analizowanych grupach tworzą struktury niezawodnościowe typu kzn. Głównym celem jest określenie, jak duże są różnice w gotowości i niezawodności takich grup maszyn przy różnych wartościach charakterystyk dotyczących awaryjności i odnowy ich podzespołów i segmentów. Rozwiązanie problemu uzyskano na drodze symulacji cyfrowej, do której model i założenia opracowali autorzy. Uzyskane wyniki wskazują, że lepszą niezawodnością oraz gotowością charakteryzują się grupy maszyn o konstrukcji segmentowej, co może stanowić jedną ze wskazówek w procesie podejmowania decyzji inwestycyjnych i planowania eksploatacji tego typu maszyn.

Resorting to the arguments of the theory of the interpretation of culture texts, particularly Harold Bloom’s concept of misreading, the power of interpretative ascertainment achieved by the museum public and the museum institution is equalled. Relating the literature theories to the museum realm, the Author discloses the contingency (namely the conditioning always dependent on the context) of the interpretative activity in a museum institution. In a series of four intellectual experiments the interpretative instability of a museum object is approximated, while its possible consequences for a museum institution are pointed to.
Autor – przywołując argumenty z teorii interpretacji tekstów kultury, zwłaszcza koncepcję misreading Harolda Blooma – zrównuje moc interpretacyjnych ustaleń dokonywanych przez publiczność muzealną i instytucję muzeum. Odnosząc ustalenia literaturoznawcze do świata muzealnego, odsłania przygodność (czyli uwarunkowanie zawsze zmiennym kontekstem) czynności interpretacyjnych w instytucji muzealnej. W serii czterech eksperymentów intelektualnych przybliża niestabilność interpretacyjną obiektu muzealnego i wskazuje możliwe tego konsekwencje dla instytucji muzeum.

The quality of the construction services provided has always played an important role not only in maintaining the safety and proper functioning of the construction objects in question, but also in other related features, which will also be the subject of a research study with the target group of the construction objects in question in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship in Poland. This article explains the concept of quality and quality in terms of construction services. It indicates their essence and the process of implementation in the long-term perspective during the operation and exploitation of a building object. The process of quality assessment is based on the selection of contractors for construction works using fuzzy logic. The procedure of prequalification with the use of fuzzy sets was also used for such an assumed purpose.

The paper presents application of the GPS - Thales Mobile Mapper satellite navigation receiver for conducting the direct underwater inventory and location of objects on the bottom of inland water reservoirs. The design description of the measurement set consisting of the manual GPS/GIS receiver, specialist watertight casing with function keys and floating GPS antenna is presented. The possibilities of using the set directly in underwater navigation conducted by a scuba diver on shallow depth were investigated. The results of search for obstacles located earlier using the hydroacoustic methods: the single beam echo sounder (SBES) and sidescan sonar (SSS) were described. The analysis of accuracy of the underwater GPS navigation was also conducted.
