The paper presents the relationship between the level of logistics and the solutions applied in the agribusiness enterprises. The research was conducted in 504 companies. The logistics level was determined on the basis of contribution of cost of logistics in the overall expenses of the company and based on existence of a separate logistics department in a given company. Relevant dependence has been detected only between existence of a separate organisational unit dedicated to logistics and the solutions applied in the area of logistics. For level of logistics costs, in most cases, no significant correlation with the use of information technology was seen. The share of cost of logistics in company expenses was determined to be a poor indicator of level of logistics and modernity of the company.

Obecnie wykorzystanie technologii informatycznych może uczynić nasze życie lepszym i łatwiejszym, a rozwój Internetu może zasadniczo zmienić sposób działalności w firmach. Podmioty świadczące usługi logistyczne widzą potrzebę zmiany tradycyjnego modelu logistycznego na model e-logistyki. Jest to konieczne w celu dostosowania się do dynamicznych zmian w świecie globalnego handlu elektronicznego. Obecna gospodarka cyfrowa jest napędzana dużą ilością informacji, nowymi narzędziami ICT i technologiami wykorzystywanymi przez wszystkich do osiągnięcia rozwoju działalności. Korzystanie z e-logistyki może zminimalizować koszty nabycia, przesyłania, odbioru i sprzedaży nie tylko towarów, ale także usług. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest zdefiniowanie pojęć i określenie znaczenia wykorzystania systemów e-logistyki w biznesie na przykładzie Elektronicznej Giełdy Towarowej (EGT). W pierwszej części opracowania autorzy wyjaśniają różnice między logistyką i e-logistyką. Kolejna część pracy prezentuje aspekty i założenia dotyczące e-logistyki. Dalsza część artykułu skoncentrowana została na zbadaniu aktualnej sytuacji w zakresie wykorzystania systemów e-logistyki na przykładzie EGT, efektem czego jest analiza porównawcza wybranych elektronicznych giełd towarowych.
Nowadays, the use of Information Technologies Systems can make our life better and easier, as the incredible growth of the Internet is changing the way corporations conduct their business. Logistic service operators see the need to change the traditional logistics system into e-logistics. It is necessary to accommodate the dynamic changes in the commercial world. The current digital economy is driven by modern information and new ICT tools, new technologies used by everyone for stronger development of their activities. Using e-logistics may minimize the costs of acquisition, transmission, reception and sales. The purpose of this article is to analyze the notion and importance of using e-logistic systems in business with the example of Electronic Freight Exchange (EFX). In the first part of the paper, the authors explain the difference between logistics and e-logistics. The next part of the paper is devoted to presenting the aspects and fundamentals of e-logistics and their advantages as well. Moreover, the areas which might be improved are indicated. The further part of the paper is focused on the situation in e-logistics systems with the EFX example. In that section a comparative analysis of selected electronic freight exchanges can be found. This study brings its contribution to the understanding of the changes in logistics, in particular, in the EFX systems.

The rate of growth in terms of the changes of dynamics in logistics is due to the development in services, including physical, information and financial flows, important for the entities of numerous economic sectors. The contemporary logistics not only has to catch up with the current changes, but also, in many cases, it must get ahead of them, meeting the expectations of its clients. A constant element of the logistics activity should be both the investigation and forecasting of the changes. A growing complexity of business processes in the globalised economy, based on knowledge in the business environment with complex corporate relations, makes the managers support the decision-making processes using state-of-the-art information technology (IT) tools. An essential supporting role is fulfilled by the integrated management systems, ensuring a cohesion and control of the internal and external processes performance in the enterprise operation. The article aims at presenting the role of integrated management systems, considered as tools supporting business logistics processes. It demonstrates the specificity of the operation of a selected economic organization, which makes the management apply unitary measures. With the development of integrated systems in mind - and using the example of the case study - the solutions were demonstrated, the aim of which is to effectively support the management of purchases, supplies and maintenance within the department in the enterprise under study, especially the logistics processes. An essential element of the research is the role of innovativeness in the logistics development, including the implementation of the latest teleinformation technology solutions.

The article presents the architecture of an integrated telematics system to manage mixed passenger transport services in an urban agglomeration. The study of the railway line catchment area includes three main generators of passenger traffic, i.e. settlement network, occurrence of economic operators generating commuting to work, presence of commercial, administrative, cultural and educational, scientific, recreational, and religious worship centres, etc. The study was carried out for each railway line included in the Wrocław railway node. Wroclaw is a city which has been aspiring for many years to become an European metropolis. It is therefore necessary to look at alternative ways of solving communication problems of residents. The system of the railway network of Wroclaw railway node predisposes it to perform an even broader role for the city. The use of telematics tools can streamline the flow of information. In this paper we apply neuro-fuzzy systems to predict waste production in a company. Waste is produced by companies at every phase of their business, e.g. at the stage of supply, production and distribution. We used data on the production waste of one of the typical Polish manufacturing companies operating in the automotive industry. We predicted monthly waste production by data-driven learning of neuro-fuzzy systems. Neuro-fuzzy systems share with artificial neural-networks the ability to learn from data and the interpretability with fuzzy systems. In the experiments we achieved a high rate of prediction.

The main goal of the article is to share some experimental view onto VR training applications, that allows for adaptation of the directed training scenario to a user being trained. The resulted application allows to the three scenarios being selected in any combination of ones, as well as the tasks modification through the input files, before a test starts. The program was developed in the Unity engine, using the modern UnityXR framework providing extensive support for leading virtual reality hardware. The resulting solution presents the possibility of an efficient training in Virtual Reality while modifying the course of training without any needs to recompile the program, and also it shows some positive values of using VR technology as a didactic solution.
Głównym celem artykułu jest podzielenie się eksperymentalnym spojrzeniem na aplikacje treningowe VR, które pozwalają na dostosowanie scenariusza szkolenia ukierunkowanego do szkolonego użytkownika. Powstała aplikacja pozwala na wybór trzech scenariuszy w dowolnej kombinacji, a także modyfikację zadań poprzez pliki wejściowe, przed rozpoczęciem testu. Program został opracowany w silniku Unity, z wykorzystaniem nowoczesnego frameworka UnityXR zapewniającego szerokie wsparcie dla wiodącego sprzętu wirtualnej rzeczywistości. Uzyskane rozwiązanie przedstawia możliwość efektywnego szkolenia z Wirtualnej Rzeczywistości przy jednoczesnej modyfikacji przebiegu szkolenia bez konieczności rekompilacji programu, a także pokazuje pozytywne walory wykorzystania technologii VR jako rozwiązania dydaktycznego.

Głównym celem artykułu jest podzielenie się eksperymentalnym spojrzeniem na aplikacje treningowe VR, które pozwalają na dostosowanie scenariusza szkolenia ukierunkowanego do szkolonego użytkownika. Powstała aplikacja pozwala na wybór trzech scenariuszy w dowolnej kombinacji, a także modyfikację zadań poprzez pliki wejściowe, przed rozpoczęciem testu. Program został opracowany w silniku Unity, z wykorzystaniem nowoczesnego frameworka UnityXR zapewniającego szerokie wsparcie dla wiodącego sprzętu wirtualnej rzeczywistości. Manufacturing and logistics process in conditions of the contemporary market must be multidimensional and multicriterial. Activities associated with production and logistics are closely related. Improvement of the manufacturing process and logistics areas in enterprises has a great importance and can bring a lot of benefits. Each optimization of the manufacturing and logistics proces should be analyzed, adapted to needs of the given enterprise and successively implemented. The article describes proposals to improve the manufacturing and Logistics process in researched enterprise, through identification of functional problems. In addition, indicates important possible benefits, resulting from the use of tools, systems and techniques to optimize production and logistics areas in the organization.
W warunkach współczesnego rynku proces produkcji i logistyki musi mieć charakter wielowymiarowy i wielokryterialny. Działania związane z produkcją i logistyką są ze sobą ściśle powiązane. Doskonalenie procesu produkcji i obszarów logistyki w przedsiębiorstwach ma ogromne znaczenie i może przynieść wiele korzyści. Każda optymalizacja procesu produkcji i logistyki powinna być przeanalizowana, dostosowana do potrzeb danego przedsiębiorstwa i sukcesywnie wdrażana. Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia propozycje doskonalenia procesu produkcji i logistyki w badanym przedsiębiorstwie, poprzez identyfikację problemów funkcjonalnych. Ponadto wskazuje istotne możliwe do uzyskania korzyści, wynikające z zastosowania narzędzi, systemów i technik optymalizujących obszary produkcji i logistyki w organizacji.

In recent years lean thinking (also referred as slim) increases its popularity not only in industry, but also in the entire business world. There are many confirmed effects demonstrating the high effectiveness of this philosophy: a clear improvement of economic indicators, an increase in current satisfaction and the acquisition of new clients; better, stable quality of offered products and services; efficient organization of production; more effective management; high productivity of work and production; minimizing the costs of production and storage of stocks. Why is Lean implementation in our domestic conditions not easy and sometimes ineffective? In this study we will try to answer these very important questions.
