The paper discusses the problem of using stainless steels in construction. Characteristics of steel marking systems in the European standards have been characterized. Basic types of steel are presented together with their short characteristics. Examples of use of stainless steels in construction are discussed, both in terms of construction elements and equipment.
W pracy poruszono problematykę zastosowania stali nierdzewnych w budownictwie. Scharakteryzowano systemy oznaczeń stali trudnordzewiejących w normach europejskich. Przedstawiono podstawowe rodzaje stali wraz z ich krótką charakterystyką. Omówiono przykłady zastosowania stali nierdzewnych w budownictwie, zarówno w odniesieniu do elementów konstrukcyjnych, jak i wyposażenia obiektów.

Artykuł prezentuje problematykę akademickiego kształcenia nauczycieli języków obcych w trzech różnych systemach edukacyjnych. Ukazuje ją w kontekście kultury edukacji oraz kultury szkoły, przedstawiając ich wpływ na sposób organizacji i realizacji procesów kształcenia. Szkoła i generalnie edukacja, w tym także uniwersyteckie przygotowanie do zawodu nauczycielskiego to miejsce rozbudowywania tzw. kapitału społecznego. Refleksja nad tym, jak wyglądają te procesy, odgrywa kluczową rolę dla planowania i realizowania efektywnych działań edukacyjnych, także z wykorzystaniem tzw. dobrych praktyk każdego z systemów. W odniesieniu do koncepcji badań porównawczych, analizom komparatystycznym poddane zostają wyznaczniki pedeutologiczne kształcenia nauczycieli i nauczycielek w Iranie, Niemczech i Polsce. Ramą porównawczą są zaś europejskie standardy kształcenia nauczycieli.
This article discusses the issues of academic education of foreign language teachers in three different educational systems. It presents them in the context of education culture and school culture, showing their influence on the way of organization and realization of education processes. School and education in general, including university preparation for the teaching profession is a place of developing so-called social capital. Reflection on the way these processes operate plays a key role in the planning and implementation of effective educational activities, using the so-called good practices of each of the systems. In the comparative research, the teacher training programmes in Iran, Germany and Poland are subject to comparative analysis against the framework of European standards for teacher education.

The article is devoted to minimum standards in the new procedural instrument - the European Account Preservation Order. The main purpose of the preservation proceeding is to grant an interim order of creditor’s claim on debtor assets, without overburdening his property. Due to the complicated procedure established by Regulation (EU) No 655/2014, the European Account Preservation Order should serve as an additional and optional measure for the creditor, the examination of the minimum standards is essential. The Author indicates the relation between above-mentioned regulation and other regulations and gives explanation why this instrument is another symptom of the new EU legislator's approach to cross-border civil matters. Since the debtor is a person whose interests are most affected by the preservation on the bank account, it is necessary to specify his rights and obligations in this proceedings.

An important object of state policy is the regulation of social relations, i.e. a system of sufficiently stable and independent ties between individuals and social groups that are essential for the existence and functioning of society. The constitutional consolidation of Ukraine’s status as a social state implies the need to pursue an active policy to ensure the rights of all members of society to a decent living, social protection, participation in production management, maintaining a stable socio-economic situation, and mitigating social inequality. Therefore, the state’s social dialogue is a means of establishing a social compromise in society and a factor in the formation of a unified labor and social policy. The methodological basis of the study is several general scientific and special methods of cognition, the choice of which is determined by the peculiarities of its object, subject, purpose, and objectives. The purpose of the article is to clarify the theoretical, legal, and legislative characteristics of the concept of social dialogue from the perspective of their compliance with the current trends in the development of labor and legal doctrine, and to study the issues of social dialogue at the national and European levels as a factor in the formation of a common labor and social policy.

This paper examines the status of European English (EE) in current linguistictheory, in particular the hotly debated issue of whether or not it is possible to treat EE as an endonormative linguistic variety in its own right. Alternatively, EE may remain a form of English as a foreign language (EFL), and the decision has far-reaching socio-political consequences. Some relevant data from Polish English is discussed in this context. It is argued that there is no reason to reanalyse the observed deviations from English native standards as simplifications or innovations characteristic of a new language. The debate is shown to relate to the opposition between utilitarian and epistemic goals in foreign language teaching methodology, as exemplified by the dichotomy between competence and performance or between training for interaction and training of the faculties of the mind.

Opis:
Modern Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) are now being widely deployed; in order to ensure that these deployments will bring maximum benefit to end users and other stakeholders, an ITS architecture, which defi nes how the deployed system would fi t into overall ITS structure, has to be defi ned. Help is available to achieve these goals from the European ITS Framework (FRAME) Architecture, now being upgraded by the European project E-FRAME. Within this project also the importance of mutual influence between standards and architecture is judged.

Economic transformation has had a positive influence in Poland on statistical indices that characterize occupational safety and health (OSH). Surprisingly, working conditions have not deteriorated. Methodological differences make comparing statistical data in various countries difficult. OHS standards in Poland are harmonized with European and international ones. Testing and certification, quality and OSH management systems are very important, as are education and training in OSH and international cooperation. Increasing unemployment is a significant threat to the development of OSH or even maintenance of its current state.

Public opinion was outraged by information that Pegasus technology, intended to combat terrorism and organized crime, was also used to combat the opposition, surveil political opponents, and influence the outcome of elections in some member states of the Council of Europe and the European Union. These organizations have undertaken studies of these situations and have formulated a number of recommendations to Member States, including Poland. The author analyzed these documents and suggests that even if they are only the so-called “soft law”, the dispositions contained therein should be consistently implemented in accordance with the values of democracy, the rule of law and the protection of human rights. Full implementation of these recommendations by Poland is necessary to improve its image among democratic European countries.
Opinia publiczna została poruszona informacjami, że technologia Pegasus, przewidziana do zwalczania terroryzmu i przestępczości zorganizowanej, była stosowana również do zwalczania opozycji, inwigilowania przeciwników politycznych, a także wpływania na wynik wyborów w niektórych państwach członkowskich Rady Europy i Unii Europejskiej. Organizacje te podjęły badania tych sytuacji i sformułowały szereg zaleceń do państw członkowskich, m.in. Polski. Autor poddał analizie te dokumenty i sugeruje, że nawet jeśli mają one charakter jedynie tzw. „miękkiego prawa”, to zawarte w nich dyspozycje powinny być konsekwentnie zrealizowane zgodnie z wartościami demokracji, praworządności i ochrony praw człowieka. Pełna realizacja tych zaleceń przez Polskę jest niezbędna dla poprawy jej wizerunku wśród demokratycznych państw Europy.

The European Commission for Democracy Through Law was created in 1990 and for the last three decades has adopted a number of documents of related to electoral standards in democratic states. They include legal opinions on national laws (or draftlaws), as well as documents of a more general nature, concerning specific topics (studies, reports). In this article, the author aims at presenting the main documents that include the electoral standards developed by the Venice Commission. However, as the opinions of the Venice Commission are not binding, the second part of this contribution presents the way this contribution of the Venice Commission is taken into account in the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights in cases concerning the alleged violations of the right to free elections.
Europejska Komisja na rzecz Demokracji przez Prawo została stworzona w 1990 roku i w ciągu ostatnich trzydziestu lat przyjęła ona szereg dokumentów związanych ze standardami prawa wyborczego w państwach demokratycznych. Są to opinie prawne o krajowych aktach prawnych (lub ich projektach), ale także dokumenty o charakterze ogólnym dotyczące określonych kwestii (studia, raporty). Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie podstawowych dokumentów zawierających standardy w zakresie standardów prawa wyborczego wypracowanych przez Komisję Wenecką. Biorąc jednak pod uwagę fakt, że opinie Komisji Weneckiej nie mają charakteru wiążącego, druga część niniejszego opracowania przedstawia w jaki sposób dorobek Komisji Weneckiej brany jest pod uwagę w orzecznictwie Europejskiego Trybunału Praw Człowieka w sprawach, w których zarzucono naruszenie prawa do wolnych wyborów.

Artykuł prawnie analizuje międzynarodowe standardy przesłuchiwania nieletnich podejrzanych o popełnienie przestępstwa. Przeanalizowano porządek proceduralny i cechy taktyczne przesłuchania nieletniego, które są określone w prawie międzynarodowym. Autorka określa kryteria, szczegółowe zasady przesłuchania, a także wymagania dotyczące takiego postępowania procesowego. Niezbędna jest dalsza poprawa ustawodawstwa krajowego zgodnie z międzynarodowymi standardami w dziedzinie postępowania karnego wspierającego postępowanie przygotowawcze.
The article legally analyses international standards of the interrogation of juveniles who are suspected of having committed a criminal offence. The procedural order and tactical features of the interrogation of a minor, that are outlined in international law, are analysed. The author defines the criteria, specific rules of interrogation, as well as requirements for such procedural action. Further improvement of national legislation in accordance with international standards in the field of criminal procedural support of pre-trial investigation is necessary.
