Opis:
The relative ‘plane-parallel’ error in a mean cloud optical thickness retrieved from ground-based pyranometer measurements is estimated. The plane-parallel error is defined as the bias introduced by the assumption in the radiative transfer model used in cloud optical thickness retrievals that the atmosphere, including clouds, is horizontally homogeneous on the scale of an individual retrieval. The error is estimated for the optical thickness averaged over the whole domain, which simulates the mean cloud optical thickness obtained from a time series of irradiance measurements. The study is based on 3D Monte Carlo radiative transfer simulations for non-absorbing, all-liquid, layer clouds. Liquid water path distributions in the clouds are simulated by a bounded cascade fractal model. The sensitivity of the error is studied with respect to the following factors: averaging time of irradiance used in an individual retrieval, mean cloud optical thickness, cloud variability, cloud base height and solar zenith angle. In the simulations presented in this paper, the relative bias in the domain averaged cloud optical thickness retrieved from pyranometer measurements varies from +1% for optically thin clouds to nearly –20%. The highest absolute value of the relative bias is expected for thick and variable clouds with high bases (e.g. 1 km) and retrievals based on long-term mean irradiances (averaging time of the order of several tens of minutes or hours). The bias can be diminished by using short-term irradiance averages, e.g. of one minute, and by limiting retrievals to low-level clouds.

The paper aims at the higher reactive power management complexity caused by the access of distributed power, and the problem such as large data exchange capacity, low accuracy of reactive power distribution, a slow convergence rate, and so on, may appear when the controlled objects are large. This paper proposes a reactive power and voltage control management strategy based on virtual reactance cloud control. The coupling between active power and reactive power in the system is effectively eliminated through the virtual reactance. At the same time, huge amounts of data are treated to parallel processing by using the cloud computing model parallel distributed processing, realize the uncertainty transformation between qualitative concept and quantitative value. The power distribution matrix is formed according to graph theory, and the accurate allocation of reactive power is realized by applying the cloud control model. Finally, the validity and rationality of this method are verified by testing a practical node system through simulation.

In this paper, using cloud model and Delphi, we build a comprehensive evaluation cloud model to solve the problems of qualitative description and quantitative transformation in ship navigation adaptability comprehensive evaluation. In the model, the normal cloud generator is used to find optimal cloud models of reviews and evaluation factors. The weight of each evaluation factor is determined by cloud model and Delphi. The floating cloud algorithm is applied to aggregate the bottom level’s evaluation factors, and comprehensive cloud algorithm is used to aggregate the highest level’s evaluation factors to get comprehensive evaluation cloud model. Finally, evaluation result is got by matching comprehensive evaluation cloud model and optimal cloud model of reviews. As case study, the model is applied to the small LNG ship’s navigation adaptability in Southeast Asia. Compared with the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, the model proposed in this paper is more intuitive and reliable in comprehensive evaluation of the small LNG ship’s navigation adaptability.

Opis:
As the popularity of cloud computing increases, safety concerns are growing as well. Cloud forensics (CF) is a smart adaptation of the digital forensics model that is used for fighting the related offenses. This paper proposes a new forensic method relying on a blockchain network. Here, the log files are accumulated and preserved in the blockchain using different peers. In order to protect the system against illegitimate users, an improved blowfish method is applied. In this particular instance, the system is made up of five distinct components: hypervisor (VMM), IPFS file storage, log ledger, node controller, and smart contract. The suggested approach includes six phases: creation of the log file, key setup and exchange, evidence setup and control, integrity assurance, agreement validation and confidential file release, as well as blockchain-based communication. To ensure efficient exchange of data exchange between the cloud provider and the client, the methodology comprises IPFS. The SSA (FOI-SSA) model, integrated with forensic operations, is used to select the keys in the best possible way. Finally, an analysis is conducted to prove the effectiveness of the proposed FOI-SSA technique.

The paper describes a solution of reverse engineering tasks using the equipment of the laboratory of the Technical University in Zvolen. The first task was linked to evaluation of a wear rate of the tool used to for mulching and elimination of unwanted wood or weed vegetation. The obtained data will be used as a base line for determination of the time interval for the tool replacement. We developed a prototype of components and their drawing documentation for a single-purpose machine for cutting barley. We created the 3D model using the method of photogrammetry. The finished drawing documentation and prototypes were handed over to the company KRUP. Finally, we identified the most suitable procedures for creating a model of a part with a complex shape. We tested the techniques of editing the point cloud processing, as well as of smoothing the surfaces and automating the creation of partial geometric elements of the model. Based on the properties of the component, which is the starting point of the entire reverse engineering process and from the achieved results, we set recommendations for the selection of appropriate procedures.

Opis:
This article evaluates the accuracy of 3D models made from point clouds obtained from photogrammetry. Photographs were taken from ground level and using a drone, and data processing was performed in 3DF Zephyr. The models were compared with the actual dimensions of the buildings. Four different building objects with varying degrees of complexity were analysed. The aim of the research is to analyse the conditions for taking photographs and how they are transformed into a point cloud, and to see how and whether the complexity of the shape of the facade affects the accuracy of the 3D model made from the point cloud. The inaccuracy of the point cloud in the form of point spread for all analysed cases was 1.8±0.4 cm on average. The largest measurement error was found in the case of a multi-storey building. Despite the presented inaccuracies, it was considered advantageous to use the point cloud obtained through photogrammetry in the inventory. No difference was observed in the accuracy of the model depending on the complexity of the building. Recommendations were made regarding the conditions for taking photographs.

Opis:
Due to the ever-better accessibility of the digital terrain model (DTM), it is enjoying growing popularity as a source of information about the surrounding world. It became even more approachable when DTM data covering the whole of Poland was made available free of charge on the Geoportal website. The GRID with a resolution of 1 meter per 1 meter covers virtually the entire country. The data on the Geoportal does not only refer to the measurements processed into a grid of squares, but also includes measurement data. They can be accessed through a systematic division into section sheets in the 1992 system. The paper presents research on assessing the accuracy of these publicly available data, compared to measurements obtained with the GNSS observations. The analysis involved data directly from the measurement device, not yet processed into a grid of squares. As part of the research, the height of 3 objects was compared. It was decided to measure the terrain profiles. To get as close as possible to the source data provided at the Geoportal website, the selected points of profiles previously identified in the point cloud were measured. This approach freed the final results from the need for height interpolation for the data selected for analysis. As result, the potential source of errors in such an approach was eliminated. Although during a classical profile measurement with this technology the selection of points would certainly be different, for research purposes this approach seems optimal. For this reason, in addition to the expected deviations resulting from the height differences of the tested points, deviations from the data from the point cloud of the XY coordinates, related to the adopted technology, are also presented.

Opis:
Transmission lines’ live working is one of an effective means to ensure the reliable operation of transmission lines. In order to solve the unsafe problems existing in the implementation of traditional live working, the paper uses ground-based lidar to collect point cloud data. A tile based on the pyramid data structure is proposed to complete the storage and calling of point cloud data. The improved bidirectional filtering algorithm is used to distinguish surface features quickly and obtain a 3D model of the site. Considering the characteristics of live working, the speed of data reading and querying, the nearest point search algorithm based on octree is used to acquire a real- time calculation of the safe distance of each point in the planned path, and the safety of the operation mode is obtained by comparing with the value specified in the regulation, and assist in making decisions of the operation plan. In the paper, the simulation of the actual working condition is carried out by taking the “the electric lifting device ascending” as an example. The experimental results show that the established three-dimensional model can meet the whole process control of the operation, and has achieved practical effect.
