Opis:
Tourism is often seen as an important factor in local development. The good or relatively good financial standing of tourist gminas and their inhabitants is usually emphasised while the positive impact of tourism on the development of infrastructure and other effects generally seen as favourable. What is less often emphasised are the problems associated with the development of tourism. The purpose of this article is to recognise the consequences of tourism development in a gmina of high tourism and recreation value and set them against the opinions of its inhabitants.

Opis:
The project presented in this article, which consists in designing and launching a three-stage suborbital rocket with a 40 kg payload covers the subjects of the rapid development of a multi-stage proof-of-concept vehicle with a limited time to deploy. These finite resources and a negligible percentage of the technology available tested in-house in advance led to the implementation of chosen, well-known industrial solutions into the concept for a winning strategy. This paper presents the recent achievements and lessons learned from the production phase of the components, namely: the rocket motor, control section compartment, guidance and navigation bay, together with recent achievements and future challenges. This set of components, derived from the project, will fill the gap in the technological chain for future Polish launchers and munition. The three-stage suborbital rocket development project is divided into three phases, which will last a total of three years. The first phase is the conceptual design stage, along with laboratory tests of solutions and subsystems used in the rocket. The second phase consists in flight tests for individual stages, together with the decisive flight of a three-stage rocket made to reach the Kármán line. The final stage involves the commercialization of the developed technology and the creation of a service for carrying research loads of up to 40 kg. The project is valued at approximately USD 5 million. The project is co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCRD) as part of dedicated support for the Polish space industry.

Opis:
The paper presents investigation of shock initiation effects on highly energetic material LX-04, an HMX based one, by a blunt brass projectile using numerical modelling methods implemented in LS-DYNA software. Multi – Material Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (MM-ALE) formulation has been used to provide the possibility of fulfilment of the elements with multiple materials accordingly to multiple phases of the composition detonated. The work is focused on LS-DYNA’s equation of the state keyword *EOS_IGNITON_AND_GROWTH_IN_HE. Proper comparison with experimental data is presented. The introduction into the subject of highly nonlinear transient dynamic finite element analysis, possibilities, and superiority of this kind of modelling are being discussed. Reasons of sustaining the need of data by numerical solutions rather than experimental handling in military applications are given. Some of typical technical issues, occurring during such a fast-performing phenomenon, and the need of experimental validation of the models are typed together with detonation-state determination’s observation capabilities.

Opis:
This paper discusses analytical method for realization of preliminary missile stability design calculations. Action has been taken to estimate influence of replacing massive blocks of analogue electronics with compact solutions of digital electronics in missiles remaining in operation. On an example of a short-range 9M33M3 missile from 9K33 „OSA” set and its previously analysed aerodynamic characteristics, the analysis of the centre of gravity location impact was carried out to determine maximum loads occurring in the two most interesting phases of flight: after booster engine burnout and directly after cruise engine burnout. The suggestion for modification suggestion of flight parameters’ optimization is presented which defines stability and its critical impact of these parameters on aeronautical engineering. For the tested missile, the methodology suggestions for the modification is discussed with the comparison of serially produced copies to define the ability of improving the flight parameters. The paper includes visualizations and quantity analysis of: maximal loads on the fuselage, minimal turn radius, and control wing inclination angle as missile’s angle of attack function.
