Entry of the Czech Republic into the European Union (EU) means an expressive expansion of space for European integrated logistics development and application. Basically logistics changes are necessary if the companies and also state in the Czech Republic do not want to be an outsider on the European market. Logistics is one of the important points of enterprise within a cluster. Cooperation of cluster members on the field of logistics for involved companies means a substantial advantage which companies will gain against their competitors not only on the native but also on the foreign markets. Conclusions of the research of mathematical model for logistic control in an industrial cluster are the critical points of this paper. This mathematical model shows the main logistic advantages for cluster members.

Arbuscular-mycorrhizal internal structures (i.e. total root colonization, arbuscules, vesicles) and external structures (i.e. spore density), and Glomeromycota spore morphotypes, were evaluated in wheat severely infected with Mycosphaerella graminicola - the causal agent of Septoria leaf blotch. Plots in which the infection was controlled with a commercial fungicide at recommended field doses, were also examined. The commercial fungicide used was an admixture of trifloxistrobin and tebuconazole. No negative effects of the fungicide application on arbuscular-mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) were found. The M. graminicola fungicidal treatment actually favoured the formation of arbuscules and AMF spores, as there was a selective increase in the density of spores belonging to the glomoid morphotype. Arbuscular-mycorrhizal fungi have an absolute dependence on the carbon provided by the plant. A severe foliar disease leading to a diminished carbon supply to the roots would generate decreases in carbon availability. Such decreases would strongly affect mycorrhizal associations and development. Furthermore, the change in the green-leaf area produced by a severe foliar disease and/or a reversal of that condition through fungicide treatment could result in shifts in the composition of the AMF community so as to favour glomoid morphotypes. Glomoid species have been previously considered as r-strategists.

Hong Kong is a city with a diversified public transport system. However, the number of private cars has increased abnormally, especially the completion of private housings in the New Territories and North Lantau, due to the daily work of the urban areas or personal needs. The number of citizens of private cars has increased significantly. In recent years, the problem of "frequent and severe congestion" has resulted in the saturation of the more timely railways. The main reason is that the roads in the existing busy areas cannot meet the large number of private cars, and the major roads in the New Territories of Hong Kong and Kowloon have been subject to "frequent and severe congestion". The Government's solution to the problem is to build roads and railways only. In recent years, many new roads and railways, the congestion of old roads and highways have not been improved. Railways cannot change the private car owners to switch to public transport habits, “but increased”, what is the main reason? Where roads and railways solve problems, this study agrees that denser areas without rail services are necessary to build or extend existing rail routes. But what is the need to build a new railway to relieve the existing railway saturation? We use the railway but not others? Is railway extension is one of the cause for traffic congestion? In recent years, the government has recognized that private cars are the main source of traffic congestion in Hong Kong. Government indicated that it planned to introduce another electronic road toll and increase private license plate or registration tax. Hope that this report will help us understand the problems we are facing now and discuss how we can resolve them so as to come up with better solutions.

This paper presents some structural, magnetic and electrical properties of 40 nm and 75 nm thick La$\text{}_{0.7}$Sr$\text{}_{0.3}$MnO$\text{}_{3}$ thin films deposited on vicinal SrTiO$\text{}_{3}$(001) substrates. The vicinal angles were 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10º from the [001] direction towards [110]. Standard SrTiO$\text{}_{3}$(001) substrates were used for comparison and for the growth condition optimization. Structural properties were studied by X-ray diffraction, which indicated that the LSMO films grew with their (001) axis coincident with the (001) axis of the substrate. The surface morphology was carefully studied by atomic force microscopy in tapping mode. Very smooth films and regular step-terrace structures on the La$\text{}_{0.7}$Sr$\text{}_{0.3}$MnO$\text{}_{3}$ surfaces could be observed. The root mean square roughness measured in 2μ m×2μ m images was in the 0.130-0.580 nm range for all angles and both thicknesses. Superconducting quantum interference device magnetometer measurements revealed a Curie temperature in the 340-350 K range and magneto-optical Kerr microscopy enabled magnetic domain imaging and hysteresis loop measurements at 300 K. A uniaxial easy magnetization direction was obtained at 300 K for angles above 4º, with the easy axis along the steps. Finally, preliminary 1/f noise measurements were performed at 300 K for bias currents along and perpendicular to the step direction, showing a noise level as low as that we typically measured on standard SrTiO$\text{}_{3}$(001) substrates. All these results are promising for the future realization of room-temperature devices making use of the anisotropy of the magnetization.

Opis:
Effect of polymer swelling that was considered to be a problem, gives today a possibility, to complete wells that are a problem one for conventional packer setting and sealing. Polymers (rubbers) can swell in hydrocarbons or water based fluids as well. Several ways of application have been accepted. Mainly they are connected with open hole and sand screen completions in unconsolidated formations. The ability of changing the volume to more than several hundred percent, can help to avoid packer failure. When defining swelling packer elements it is important to determine their mechanical properties, swelling speed in various fluids, and stability (ageing tests). To implement home made products it was necessary to provide laboratory testing equipment for such purpose. The developed apparatus enables use of different fluids, temperature change up to known reservoir temperature, and pressure differential that element can withstand.
Zjawisko pęcznienia polimerów, które dawniej stanowiło problem, obecnie daje nowe możliwości w sytuacji, gdy nie wystarcza zastosowanie jednego, konwencjonalnego pakera. Polimery (gumy) mogą pęcznieć w węglowodorach lub płynach na osnowie wodnej. Możliwych jest kilka rozwiązań. Głównie dotyczą warunków panujących w nieuzbrojonym otworze i tam, gdzie zastosowano sita w przypadku formacji słabo zwięzłych. Zdolność do zmiany objętości do kilkuset procent może spowodować nieskuteczne działanie pakera. Określając elementy pakera ważne jest by uwzględnić jego właściwości mechaniczne, prędkość pęcznienia w różnych płynach oraz stabilność (testy na starzenie). W celu zastosowania rodzimych produktów konieczne było przeprowadzenie badań laboratoryjnych umożliwiających przetestowanie różnych środowisk (płynów), jak również modelowanie zmiany temperatur złożowych i ciśnień, które w przyszłości paker miałby wytrzymać.

Great economic losses to the dairy industry are associated with bovine mastitis, which results in poor milk quality and high treatment costs. Anti-inflammatory proteins play an important role in the suppression of the immune response against invading pathogenic microorganisms and are therefore being studied for possible use in the early diagnosis of mastitis. In our study, we used milk samples from 15 cows of Holstein Friesian breed with different health status (5 healthy, 5 subclinical, and 5 clinical animals), and tested them using immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis to evaluate the presence of IL-2, IL-10, TGF-β1, βDEF-2, DEF-3, and Cathelicidin LL37 proteins. The calculation of positively and negatively stained cells for each biomarker was performed using the semiquantitative counting method. We found the presence of all factors with the exception of Cathelicidin LL37, which was almost absent in milk samples of all animal groups. The significant decrease of IL-10, β-def2, and β-def3 expression levels within the 3 days of sampling, found in the milk of animals with sub- and clinical mastitis, indicates the loss of antiinflammatory protection of the affected cow’s udder. In contrast, the stable increase of IL-2 and TGF-β1 positive cells observed in the milk of mastitis-affected cows, and the similar expression of these factors in the milk of healthy animals, indicate the possible lack of involvement of these cytokines at an early stage of udder inflammation.

The influence of Au nanoparticles dimension on the photocatalytic performances of the $TiO_2$ aerogels-Au composites was evaluated. Structural and morphological peculiarities of the $TiO_2$ aerogel, unloaded and loaded with 5 and 22 nm Au nanoparticles, were studied by transmission electron microscopy technique, X-ray diffraction and $N_2$-sorption measurements. UV-Vis diffuse reflectance measurements were performed to determine the band gap energies. The photocatalytic activity was evaluated by monitoring the salicylic acid photodegradation. It was found that the Au nanoparticles promote the anatase phase crystallization and produce the decrease of the specific surface area and band gap energy values. The porous composite with the smallest Au nanoparticles dimension exhibits the best photocatalytic performances.
