Przeprowadzono analizę zmian wyposażenia polskiego rolnictwa w ciągniki rolnicze oraz wartości produkcji globalnej, końcowej i towarowej w rolnictwie polskim w latach 1949- 2013. Zastosowano metodę przeliczeń wartości poszczególnych kategorii produkcji rolniczej z cen bieżących na ceny stałe. Przedstawiono modele opisujące współzależności między wyposażeniem w ciągniki a wartością produkcji rolniczej w cenach stałych w postaci funkcji o najwyższym współczynniku dopasowania R2 . Wartość produkcji globalnej w rolnictwie w cenach stałych była w 2013 r. o 124%, produkcji końcowej o 213%, a produkcji towarowej o 420% większa niż w 1949 r. W latach 1949-2013 liczba ciągników użytkowanych w rolnictwie polskim zwiększyła się o 5853%. Stwierdzono dodatnią współzależność między stanem wyposażenia w ciągniki a wartością produkcji rolniczej. Współzależność ta zaznacza się najsilniej, gdy miernikiem produkcji rolniczej jest produkcja towarowa, a najsłabiej, gdy jest to produkcja globalna. Niezależnie od przyjętej kategorii produkcji rolniczej, oceniane współzależności zaznaczają się najsilniej w okresie, w którym liczba ciągników użytkowanych w rolnictwie wynosiła poniżej 600 tys. szt. i słabną w miarę zwiększania się ich liczby.
In the years 1949-2013 number of tractors in use in Polish agriculture increased by 495%. The value of a gross output in constant prices was in 2013 by 124%, final output by 213%, and market output 420% higher than in 1949. Positive correlation between equipment in tractors and the value of agricultural output has been stated. The correlation is strongest when the market output is taken as a meter of agricultural production and the weakest in a case of gross output. Irrespective of the category of agricultural output taken into account, the correlations studied was the most strongly marked within the period when the number of tractors in use in Polish agriculture amounted to below 600 thousand units, and it weakened along with the increase in the number of tractors.

After accession to the EU in 2004 the demand for tractors and agricultural implements has grown, followed by increasing supply of them. In 2012, the supply of brandnew agricultural tractors was by 185.4% higher than in 2003. In 2012 the value of renovation index of tractor fleet in agriculture was by 149.3% higher than in 2003. In spite of significant increase of demand for tractors, their production in 2012 was by 39.2% lower than in 2003. The downfall in number of tractors produced in Poland caused that imported tractors achieved more and more important share in supplies on Polish market. In 2003 the share of imports amounted to 64.0% and in 2012 – 91.4%. Production of most other means of agricultural mechanization was in 2012 higher than in 2003. The increase in a case of manure spreaders amounted to 704.3%; self loading or unloading agricultural tractor trailers – 362.1%; fertilizer spreader – 335.2%; field sowing machines – 245.3%; pick-up balers – 222.1% and harvester threshers – 194.8. Decreases were noted in cases of steamers – by 73.3%; potato planters – by 49.7%; harrows other than disc ones – by 42.2%; potato diggers – by 31.2% and rototillers – by 22.8%.
Po wejściu Polski do Unii Europejskiej zwiększył się popyt na środki mechanizacji rolnictwa oraz podaż krajowa większości z nich. W 2012 roku dostawy ciągników fabrycznie nowych były o 185,4% wyższe niż 2003 roku. Wartość wskaźnika odnawiania parku ciągnikowego była w 2012 roku o 149,3% większa niż w 2003 roku. Mimo znacznego zwiększenia popytu na ciągniki ich produkcja w 2012 roku była o 39,2% mniejsza niż w 2003 roku. Spadek produkcji ciągników w Polsce spowodował sukcesywne zwiększanie udziału importu. W 2003 roku udział ciągników importowanych wyniósł 64,0%, a w 2012 roku – 91,4%. Produkcja większości pozostałych środków mechanizacji rolnictwa była w 2012 roku większa niż w 2003 roku. Wzrost ten w przypadku roztrząsaczy obornika wyniósł 704,3%, ciągnikowych przyczep rolniczych samozaładowczych lub samowyładowczych – 362,1%, rozsiewaczy nawozów mineralnych – 335,2%, ciągnikowych siewników polowych – 245,3%, pras zbierających – 222,1%, a kombajnów zbożowych – 194,8. Spadła produkcja parników – o 73,3%, sadzarek ziemniaków – o 49,7%, bron innych niż talerzowe – o 42,2%, kopaczek do ziemniaków – o 31,2%, a glebogryzarek – o 22,8%.

Opis:
Several experiments combining analog design with digital parametric design have been presented, where the relationship between material properties and the designed shape of an architectural element play an important role. This approach allows to create digital material formations or to structure freeform surfaces, control their tectonics, through parametric modulation. Similar research tasks were initiated in the years 2003-2004 during the classes conducted at the Architectural Associations School of Architecture in London. In Poland, for the first time, making use of that experience, a number of similar teaching experiments were carried out in 2013 under the academic supervision of Krystyna Januszkiewicz and Mateusz Zwierzycki, at the newly established Research Laboratory of the students of the Faculty of Architecture of Poznan University of Technology.

The internet, while making shopping easy for consumers, represents a challenge for entrepreneurs seeking to ensure that internet users get transparent, easy to navigate websites and applications. They note, however, that gender is considered to be one of the factors differentiating consumer attitudes. Gender marketing is a relatively new concept developing mainly in Anglo-Saxon countries. It focuses mainly on women, who are seen as making the predominant part of purchase decisions. Moreover, female consumers are recognized as looking for the perfect product, focused on the opinions of others and seeking to contact others. These features are believed to be different from men - who purchase in a thoughtful and independent manner. The article attempts to identify the importance of the role of the Internet as a tool of entrepreneurs in making decisions. A juxtaposition is made between the beliefs of representatives from both groups about consumer needs and the facts about online sales. The authors analyzed the differences in behavior of those connected with entrepreneurship, namely online among Polish women and men and put them in the context of current assumptions about consumer attitudes of both sexes.
Ułatwiający konsumentom zakupy Internet stanowi wyzwanie dla przedsiębiorców dążących do zapewnienia internautom przejrzystych, prostych w obsłudze stron internetowych i aplikacji. Przedsiębiorcy pamiętają jednak, że płeć jest uważana za jeden z czynników różnicujących postawy konsumenckie. Gender marketing jest koncepcją stosunkowo nową i rozwija się głównie w krajach anglosaskich. Skupia się głównie na kobietach, które postrzegane są jako podejmujące przeważającą część decyzji zakupowych. Konsumentki ujmowane są ponadto jako poszukujące idealnego produktu, skupione na opiniach innych i dążące do kontaktu. Cechy te uważa się, że różniące je od mężczyzn, dokonujących zakupów przemyślanych i w niezależny sposób. W artykule podjęto próbę określenia znaczenia roli internetu w podejmowaniu decyzji handlowych. Dokonano zestawienia przekonań na temat potrzeb konsumenckich przedstawicieli obu rodzajów z faktami dotyczącymi sprzedaży internetowej. Autorzy przeprowadzili analizę różnic w zachowaniach związanych z e-commerce wśród polskich kobiet i mężczyzn i osadzili je w kontekście dotychczasowych założeń na temat postaw konsumenckich obu rodzajów.

Poland belongs to leading producers of strawberries in Europe and strawberry production has played a significant role in Polish agribusiness for many years. The present study, conducted in a commercial plantation of a specialized horticultural farm during the period 2009–2011, evaluated the amount and quality of yield of two strawberry cultivars (‘Elsanta’ and ‘Albion’) grown under different cropping systems. The study determined the amount and structure of marketable yield. The different production systems included the cultivation of strawberries from fresh waiting-bed plants and frigo plants (class A and A+). Plants were grown in the ground and on black plastic under the row cropping system and the double-row strip cropping system. The average fresh marketable yield for cv. ‘Elsanta’ was 13.0 t·ha-1 and it was higher by 53.0% than the average strawberry yield for cv. ‘Albion’ (7.1 t·ha-1). Treatment D, in which cv. ‘Elsanta’ class A+ frigo plants were grown on black plastic under the double-row strip cropping system, proved to be the best yielding system – the average fresh marketable yield was 14.4 t·ha-1, while the total marketable yield 17.4 t·ha-1. The lowest average fresh marketable yield was obtained from the cv. ‘Albion’ plantation established from class A frigo plants grown in the ground under the double-row strip cropping system – only 4.9 t·ha-1. The percentage of fresh marketable fruits in the total marketable yield ranged from 66.6% for cv. ‘Elsanta’ to 89.6% for cv. ‘Albion’ plants.
W badaniach przeprowadzonych w latach 2009–2011 na plantacji towarowej w specjalistycznym gospodarstwie ogrodniczym oceniano wielkość i jakość plonu dwu odmian truskawki (Elsanta i Albion) prowadzonych w różnych systemach uprawy. Określono wielkość i strukturę plonu owoców deserowych i przeznaczonych do przetwórstwa. Różne systemy produkcji obejmowały uprawę truskawek z sadzonek wielokoronowych oraz sadzonek frigo klasy A+ i A, posadzonych zarówno w gruncie jak i na czarnej foli, w systemie rządowym i pasowo-rzędowym oraz na zbiór w tradycyjnym terminie owocowania i zbiór opóźniony. Średni plon owoców deserowych odmiany Elsanta w latach 2009–2011 wyniósł 10,8 t·ha-1 i był o 53,0% większy od średniego plonu truskawek odmiany Albion (7,1 t·ha-1). Najlepiej plonującym okazał się system uprawy z sadzonek frigo klasy A+ odmiany Elsanta uprawianej w systemie pasowo-rzędowym na czarnej folii (kombinacja D) – przeciętny plon owoców deserowych wyniósł 14,4 t·ha-1, zaś ogólny plon handlowy – 17,4 t·ha-1. Najmniejszy średni plon owoców deserowych osiągnięto z plantacji odmiany Albion prowadzonej w systemie pasowo-rzędowym z sadzonek frigo A w gruncie – tylko 4,9 t·ha-1. Udział owoców deserowych w ogólnym plonie handlowym wahał się od 66,6% na odmianie Elsanta do 89,6% na roślinach odmiany Albion.

The enoyl-CoA hydratase catalyzed hydration of alfa,beta-unsaturated thiolesters has been modeled by using the crystal structure of 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)cinnamoyl-CoA bound at the active site. The quantum chemical calculation used the ONIOM mixed level procedure to permit the substrate thiolester and water molecule to be modeled using B3LYP/6-31G(d) level of theory and the active site residues modeled at a semiempirical level using the PM3 Hamiltonian. The results permitted the identification of a stable thiolester enolate intermediate, supporting a stepwise reaction mechanism. The calculation also suggests that the same proton removed from the nucleophilic water molecule is transferred to C alfa in the subsequent protonation of the enolate intermediate. This observation reconciles the stepwise mechanism with the previously reported double isotope effect study [3].

A multiferroic tunnel junction (MFTJ) is a promising device for future memory systems with discrete and different logic states which are controlled by a combination of electric and magnetic fields. The goal of ongoing research is to present ferroelectric and ferromagnetic properties, especially at room temperature (RT), represented as high values of tunnel electroresistance (TER) and tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). A key aspect is the appropriate preparation of a sample allowing epitaxial growth. The thin layers were prepared by pulsed laser deposition on atomically smooth monocrystalline SrTiO₃ (STO) substrates. The ferromagnetic metal layers La_{0.67}Sr_{0.33}MnO₃ (LSMO) are separated by a layer of a ferroelectric insulator - BaTiO₃ (BTO). The same structure of LSMO, BTO and STO (perovskite) and a similar lattice constant make it possible to obtain high-quality heterostructures. Magnetic measurements confirm differences in the magnetic coercivity of the top and bottom LSMO layer, which allows to obtain their parallel and antiparallel magnetization orientation. A modification of the interfaces of BTO by thin MgO layer enables an increase in the value of the TER effect.

In the paper we present the main idea of the concept which we have called confrontational concept of mathematical epistemology. We refer it to philosophy of mathematics (in the context of epistemology of research) as well as to didactic problems (in the context of teacher preparation). Although we tried not to involve our discussion directly with any existing concepts of the philosophy of mathematics, however, in the paper one can notice some elements of modern formalism as well as Lakatos quasi-empiricism or a modern approach to structuralism.

In summer 2017 numerous dead round gobies (Neogobius melanostomus) and individuals covered with white coating were observed in the Puck Bay. The aim of our research was to determine the microbiological composition of the round goby from the Puck Bay, focusing on the presence of pathogens. Bacteria were identified by biochemical methods and, by sequencing of 16S rRNA. The dominant bacterial species were Shewanella baltica, Pseudomonas spp. and Aeromonas spp. - opportunistic pathogens, commonly present in many fish species, which may become harmful for the organism in unfavorable conditions. It was the first trial to determine the composition of the bacterial flora of N. melanostomus from that area.
