Opis:
The paper presents and analyzes new type air heater, which uses the thermosyphon’s technology, aims to replace the existing horizontal tubular air heater of first-degree for steam generators Nos.5,6,7 and 8 at TPP Maritsa East-2 in Bulgaria. The main advantage of the air heater with heat pipes is the ability to lower the temperature of exhaust gases to levels that are impossible for the conventional tubular air heaters, thus increasing the efficiency of the steam generator. Along with the increased energy efficiency, reductions in CO2, SOx and NOx emissions into the atmosphere are achieved. The preheating of the air, used for air combustion by recirculation relieving the operation and improving the combustion in the steam generator, is also reduced.

Opis:
The studies of the ultimate thermal flows have been carried out in metallic and poorly heat-conducting porous structures, which operate when gravitational and capillary forces act jointly and cool various devices of thermal power plants in order to create a scientific methodology. The mechanism of destruction of metal vaporizing surfaces and poorly heat-conducting coatings of low porosity made of natural mineral media (granite) has been described on the basis of the problem of thermoelasticity and experimental data. Thermal flow dependences on time of their action and depth of penetration of temperature perturbations were identified based on analogy. Capillary-porous systems have high intensity, heat transport ability, reliability, compactness. The results of calculations and experiment showed that the maximum thickness of the particles that detach under the influence of compression forces for granite coatings is (0.25÷0.3).10-2 m. Sections of compression curves that determine the detachment of particles with dimensions of more than 0.3×10-2 m for large thermal flows and short feed times, are screened by the melting curve, and in the case of small thermal flows and time intervals – the expansion curve.

Opis:
Physalis peruviana is one of the most promising tropical fruit plants because of its rapid growth, high yield, and nutritional quality. Th is study was designed to investigate plant development under heavy metal contamination (Cd, Pb) and responsiveness to arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) colonization by Rhizophagus clarum and Claroideoglomus claroideum. Th e antioxidant capacity, total lipid content and fatty acid profi le in fruits, accumulation of Cd and Pb in diff erent plant parts, plant dry biomass, and mycorrhizal colonization were determined. As a result of inoculation, a considerable reduction in Cd and Pb in the fruits was observed, compared with non-inoculated plants. Th e fruit number and dry weight increased in plants associated with C. claroideum. Th ese plants also showed higher acid phosphatase activity, root protein accumulation and glomalin production. Th e type of antioxidant defense was AMF strain-dependent. Antioxidant activity and H2O2 neutralization were enzymatic rather than non-enzymatic processes in the fruits of C. claroideum plants compared with those forming an association with R. clarum. Mycorrhizal establishment changed the composition and concentration of fruits’ fatty acids. Th e ratio of unsaturated fatty acids was increased. With respect to the accumulation of bioactive compounds in golden berry the present fi ndings are important for obtaining the optimum benefi ts of mycorrhizal association under unfavorable conditions.
