Artykuł ten przedstawia krótkie podsumowanie prowadzonych operacji helikopterowych Argentyńskich Sił Lotniczych (AAF) w argentyńskiej części Antarktydy. Jest to transkrypcja wykładu przeprowadzonego w oparciu o prezentację sporządzoną w Power Point, jaki został zaprezentowany 26 czerwca 2015 roku podczas X Krajowego Forum Wiropłatowego zorganizowanego w Instytucie Lotnictwa w Warszawie.

Opis:
Let K be a Hutchinson fractal in a complete metric space X, invariant under the action S of the union of a finite number of Lipschitz contractions. The Open Set Condition states that X has a non-empty subinvariant bounded open subset V, whose images under the maps are disjoint. It is said to be strong if V meets K. We show by a category argument that when K ⊄ V and the restrictions of the contractions to V are open, the strong condition implies that [formula] termed the core of V, is non-empty. In this case, it is an invariant, proper, dense, subset of K, made up of points whose addresses are unique. Conversely, [formula] implies the SOSC, without any openness assumption.

Opis:
The possible existence of a circular structure in the Kościerzyna region (northern Poland) was suggested in two papers in the 1980s. The current studies were aimed at verifying this hypothesis. Analysis of a digital terrain model of the pre-Quaternary surface relief as well as of the present terrain revealed the existence of a large structure of ca. 50 km in diameter. Its geometry was established based on a model of the Neogene/Pliocene surface and identifiable lineaments. Its characteristic feature is the presence of rim-like forms, an internal plateau, and a “high” in the centre. The structure is estimated to date from before the Pleistocene. The circular structure has been reshaped by glacial erosion and accumulation, and is now buried under Quaternary deposits. The existence of the Kościerzyna circular structure was confirmed by conducted studies, but my hypothesis of an impact origin is still uncertain and needs to be confirmed by future research.

Let X be a complete metric space, and S the union of a finite number of strict contractions on it. If P is a probability distribution on the maps, and K is the fractal determined by S, there is a unique Borel probability measure $ \mu_P$ on X which is invariant under the associated Markov operator, and its support is K. The Open Set Condition (OSC) requires that a non-empty, subinvariant, bounded open set $ V \subset X$ exists whose images under the maps are disjoint; it is strong if $ K \cup V \ne 0 $.In that case, the core of $ V, \check{V} = \bigcap_{n=0}^\infty $ is non-empty and dense in K. Moreover, when X is separable, $\check{V}$ has full $\mu_p$-measure for every P. We show that the strong condition holds for V satisfying the OSC iff $\mu_P(\delta V) = 0 $, and we prove a zero-one law for it. We characterize the complement of V relative to K, and we establish that the values taken by invariant measures on cylinder sets defined by K, or by the closure of V, form multiplicative cascades.

This paper presents the first results of a new way of using MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) sensor data to visualize phytopigment inconstancy in the near-surface layer of water basins. Other sensors of this class alike, the MODIS spectral resolution is too low to reproduce the minimums of reflectance Rrs caused by phytopigments in water. However, MODIS is remarkable for the presence of a channel at 469 nm combined with channels at 412, 443, 488, 531, 547, and 555 nm. This makes it possible to distinguish the spectral limits of preferential light absorption by chlorophyll a (412—469 nm) and by accessory pigments (469—555 nm). These capabilities were realized thanks to spectral pixel indexation (SPI) of MODIS images of the sea surface. The SPI boils down to the fact that a user determines the presence of pigment minima in spectra of every image pixel, finds the sum of the wavelengths of these minima as a WRM code and assigns it to the image pixel as one of its attributes. WRM code = 100 is assigned to pixels free of the minima. Such indexation makes it possible to examine the inconstancy of phytopigments on the background of aquatic environment variability. Application of SPI approach to MODIS images of the Gulf of Mexico and the Baltic Sea made it possible to reveal new patterns of phytopigment dynamics during HABs events.

In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for the strong convergence of an implicit random iteration process with errors to a common fixed point for a finite family of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive in the intermediate sense random operators and also prove some strong convergence theorems using condition (C) and the semi-compact condition for said iteration scheme and operators. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the recent ones obtained by S. Plubtieng, P. Kumam and R. Wangkeeree, and also by the author.
