    Opis:
    The number of disabled persons in Poland currently amounts to 5 mln and it has one of the lowest indicators of employment on the European scale, which does not exceed 23%. From the 483 thousand professionally active persons, 33% work outside of the sheltered labor market (GUS, 2011). In reference to the above, the author has chosen as a subject of research the efficient and attractive tools to support the employment of persons with disabilities from the perspective of enterprises on the open labor market.
    W Polsce spośród 5 mln osób niepełnosprawnych (gdzie blisko 2,2 mln stanowią osoby znajdujące się w wieku produkcyjnym), uczestniczących w życiu zawodowym jest jedynie 0,5 mln. Co więcej, różnica proporcji osób niepełnosprawnych pracujących na otwartym rynku pracy w stosunku do pracowników niepełnosprawnych pracujących w ZPCh zarejestrowanych w SODiR, w ostatnich latach wynosiła aż 30/70. Państwo polskie wykreowało od lat 90-tych szereg instrumentów w zakresie wsparcia zatrudniania osób z niepełno sprawnościami. W zamyśle twórców instrumenty te mają stanowić skuteczne zachęty szczególnie dla otwartego rynku pracy. Autorzy artykułu próbują odpowiedzieć na pytanie: dlaczego pomimo szerokiego wachlarza instrumentów wspierających zatrudnianie ON wciąż mamy do czynienia z niezwykle niskim wskaźnikiem wykorzystywania kapitału ludzkiego tych osób na otwartym rynku pracy.

    Management of organisations in a global economy, globalisation and governance, and progressively wider and deeper integration processes put forth to managers different levels of hierarchical, multi-dimensional requirements in the sphere of competence, mainly in the fields of knowledge, competences and experience – including managerial competences, personality traits, ethical and moral behaviour (the system goals and values). In the twenty-first century economy based on knowledge and innovation, the manager is the one who has a huge impact on the development of the organisation, a person with a unique opportunity to create his own ideas. This paper discusses various competences of managerial level staff which are a prerequisite for successful organisation management. Among others the following competences are elaborated on: leadership, negotiating, interpersonal, team-working, technical, knowledge management and managerial competences. It is stressed that every manager, regardless of the level of management, position and functions, needs to be effective and efficient in managerial activities. Therefore knowledge and managerial competences, personality, experience, intelligence, imagination, are the key traits that should characterise a manager.
    Zarządzanie organizacjami w gospodarce globalnej oraz coraz szersze i głębsze procesy integracyjne stawiają przed współczesnymi menedżerami różnych szczebli kierowniczych wielowymiarowe wymagania w zakresie kompetencji. W artykule przedstawiono kluczowe kompetencje pracowników szczebla kierowniczego, które są warunkiem niezbędnym skutecznego zarządzania organizacją. Są to kompetencje w zakresie umiejętności interpersonalnych, technicznych, technologicznych i organizacyjnych oraz zarządzania wiedzą, umiejętność pracy zespołowej, sztuki negocjacji. W artykule podkreślono, że każdy menedżer, bez względu na pozycję i funkcję, musi być skuteczny i efektywny w działaniach kierowniczych. Stąd wiedza i kompetencje menedżerskie, jak również osobowość i doświadczenie, inteligencja, wyobraźnia i kreatywność są kluczowymi cechami przywódczymi, które powinny cechować każdego menedżera współczesnej organizacji.

    Opis:
    Standardization of requirements is a common practice in the trade of many products. The developed international standards and systems for wooden packaging (EPAL, UIC and ISPM15:2009) provide a unified standard for quality and safety that is updated and complemented by best practices and technologies. Confirmation of meeting the standard is to obtain a certificate or license. These standards have been recognized by logistics organizations, state administrations and packaging manufacturers in many countries in the world. The labeling of packaging meeting the requirements of the standards is recognizable and fulfills the function of confirming the legality of their origin and safety for the environment.

    Nowadays almost every action is accompanied by a constant haste. The goods, the information and the financial resources flow must be faster than ever before. A company success in distribution channels in current market is conditioned by a logistics and a quality of a provided services. All those actions are enabled with bearing the possible lowest own costs. Such functioning of the enterprise can be improved and become more effective by the development of IT system in logistics of the e-commerce, which is enabling unified way for the communication and the collaboration both inside and outside the enterprise. The scientific target of the article is to present to readers the meaning, the features, the possibilities and the changes in the supply chain of modern systems in e-logistics of distribution, by using an up-to-date IT. While writing this article, authors based on the available literature of the subject and on their own reflections and experiences. To the analysis were given the components such as description, functions and properties, application and evaluation.

    The use of sugar beets is no longer limited to the production of sugar. The application of the beets as a substrate in biogas plants is a new domain that is gaining in importance. The biomass logistics for sugar beets from the field to the sugar factory, known as campaigns, has been greatly improved in the recent years. The harvest of beets for sugar production, usually by agricultural wage enterprises, is very powerful and the subsequent logistical steps are well coordinated. To improve the efficiency of the deployment of sugar beet for biogas production new logistics solutions are necessary.

    Plant biomasses often have high water content and their energy and material density is too low, which significantly affects their high transport costs. Hydrothermal carbonization is a suitable method to increase the transportability of these biomasses. The produced biochar (HTC-char) is rich in carbon. Disadvantages of such carbonization process are the quality fluctuations of the biochars produced. This is also because there are to date no suitable measuring methods for the carbonization process. The paper presents a novel method, which will help to influence the carbonization process in the sense of qualitatively equivalent biochars by means of the achievable data therewith.

    The share of renewable energy, which is used for power supply, increases worldwide steadily to avoid the threat of climate change. In the renewable energy production from renewable resources biogas plays an important role. Biogas can be provided continuously by the permanent availability of biomass and it is also easily to store. In the context of competition for land between food and feed production as well as the cultivation of renewables an efficient biogas production is extremely important. Strategies for this aim are installing biogas plants in order to increase the biogas output and take measures to increase the efficiency of existing biogas plants or of concepts of biogas digesters for the new installation.

    The magnetorheological fluid is a functional material that is changing its rheological properties and finally solidifies in a magnetic field. The dynamic behaviour, tested with the use of the Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar is an important issue for description of this material, which is commonly used in different kinds of shock absorbers. This note presents a new idea how to modify the known SHPB set up in order to investigate dynamic properties of magnetorheological materials.

    Monolithic, homogenous ballistic shields consisting of a single thick, high-hardness and high-strength steel plate are rarely applied in modern combat vehicles. Currently, a popular armour concept is a multilayered shield since it is expected that the kinetic energy of a threat may be dissipated by transmission through materials with different properties and also by multiple interface reflections. Searching for a maximum ballistic protection at minimum weight inspires applications of various materials which complementary behaviour provides a high protective efficiency without excessive mass. The preliminary experimental investigation presented in the paper aimed to verify behaviour of two prototyped laminated armours under impacts of small-calibre projectiles (cal. 7.62). The main interest lied in impact properties of materials proposed as the intermediate layer. The first tested concept was a laminated steel armour with the 10 mm thick rubber interlayer. In the second armour, the intermediate layer consisted of a magnetorheological fluid.

    For imaging of the biogas process fast and long-term stable measurement methods misses for certain parts of the process. Thus, it is necessary to know the development of organic acids. These metabolites, which are generated during the bacterial degradation, are important indicators. The process is generally very confusing, not only in terms of the number of occurring bacteria and chemical compounds, but also their variabilities. For the knowledge of such changes a direct, low-wear and permanent monitoring of organic acids would be extremely useful. Upon the occurrence of a change like hyperacidity we could react quickly. There are already some proven methods. However, these methods have several disadvantages: the information gathering is logistically difficult by long journeys, by process conditions information’s are delayed and distorted, quickly worn sensors, etc. Therefore, a innovative development is presented here, which avoids all the disadvantages listed. The sensor unit has been developed in cooperation with KSI Meinberg, Logic Way Schwerin, IBZ Hohen Luckow, University of Rostock and a polish colleague. According to Raoult law a characteristic is used in principle, which is typical of some liquid and gaseous media that are touching. This means volatile substances, which for example, are also in the fermenter broth, among others organic acids, are also detectable in the gaseous phase. If in the gas phase such acids can be detected, conclusions about the acid content in the substrate broth are possible. In different experiments evaluable matches between the developments of organic acids on the one hand in the liquid phase (broth) and on the other hand, in the gaseous phase were found. These results are based on an acid sensor unit with which distant standing biogas plants can be controlled remotely. A project regarding this topic is supported by research programme ZIM. Project executing organization is AiF (Arbeitsgemeinschaft industrieller Forschungsvereinigungen “Otto von Guericke” e.V.).

    The problem of providing support for quality of service (QoS) guarantees is studied in many areas of information technologies. In recent years the evolution of software architectures led to the rising prominence of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concept. For Web-based systems there are three attributes that directly relate to everyday perception of the QoS for the end user: availability, usability, and performance. The paper focuses on performance issues of service delivery. The architecture of Virtual Service Delivery System (VSDS), a tool to serve requests for synchronized services is presented. It is proposed suitable monitoring technique used for estimation of values of service parameters and allocation of communication and execution resources by means of service distribution. The paper also presents results of experiments performed in real environment that show effectiveness of proposed solutions.

    The main objective of this paper is to study dielectric properties of two compounds of acronyms 5OSCl and 6OSCl having strongly polar bond (C-Cl) at para position. Dielectric measurements were done in the frequency range from 40 Hz to 15 MHz. The dielectric spectra were measured for two principal alignments. For homeotropic alignment, the reorientation of molecule around the short molecular axis was observed. Both substances studied exhibit large positive dielectric anisotropy and the anisotropy of conductivity was obtained in smectic A as well as nematic phase.
