Opis:
Free vibration analysis of homogeneous and isotropic thin circular and annular plates with discrete elements such as elastic ring supports is considered. The general form of quasi- -Green’s function for thin circular and annular plates is obtained. The nonlinear characteristic equations are defined for thin circular and annular plates with different boundary conditions and different combinations of the core and support radius. The continuity conditions at the ring supports are omitted based on the properties of Green’s function. The fundamental frequency of axisymmetric vibration has been calculated using the Newton-Raphson method and calculation software. The obtained results are compared with selected results presented in literature. The exact frequencies of vibration presented in a non-dimensional form can serve as benchmark values for researchers to validate their numerical methods when applied for uniform thin circular and annular plate problems.

Opis:
Free vibration analysis of homogeneous and isotropic circular thin plates with variable distribution of parameters by using Green’s functions (solution to homogeneous ordinary differential equations with variable coefficients) is considered. The formula of Green’s function (called the influence function) depends on the Poisson ratio and the coefficient of distribution of plate flexural rigidity, and the thickness is obtained in a closed-form. The limited independent solutions to differential Euler equations are expanded in the Neumann power series using the Volterra integral equations of the second kind. This approach allows one to obtain the analytical frequency equations as the power series rapidly convergens to exact eigenvalues for different values of the power index and different values of the Poisson ratio. The six lower natural dimensionless frequencies of axisymmetric vibration of circular plates of constant and variable thickness are calculated for different boundary conditions. The obtained results are compared with selected results presented in the literature.

Free vibration analysis of homogeneous and isotropic annular thin plates by using Green’s functions is considered. The formula of the influence function for uniform thin circular and annular plates is presented in closed-form. The limited independent solutions of differential Euler equation were expanded in the Neumann power series based on properties of integral equations. The analytical frequency equations as power series were obtained using the method of successive approximations. The natural axisymmetric frequencies for singularities when the core radius approaches zero are calculated. The results are compared with selected results presented in the literature.

The free vibration analysis of homogeneous and isotropic circular thin plates by using the Green’s functions is considered. The formulae for construction of the influence function for all nodal diameters are presented in a closed form. The limited independent solutions of differential Euler equations were expanded in the Neumann power series using the method of successive approximation. This approach allows to obtain the analytical frequency equations as power series rapidly convergent to exact eigenvalues for different number of nodal diameters. The first ten dimensionless frequencies for eight different natural modes of circular plates are calculated. A part of obtained results have not been presented yet in open literature for thin circular plates. The results of investigation are in good agreement with selected results obtained by other methods presented in literature.

In this paper a method of analysis of exoskeleton multistep locomotion was presented by using a computer with the preinstalled DChC program. The paper also presents a way to analytically calculate the “,motion indicator”, as well as the algorithm calculating its two derivatives. The algorithm developed by the author processes data collected from the investigation and then a program presents the obtained final results. Research into steady and non-steady multistep locomotion can be used to design two-legged robots of DAR type and exoskeleton control system.

In the paper a hypothesis about state equations of human gait is presented. Instantaneous normalized power developed by human muscles at particular joints of a leg is a control vector in state equations of the human walking system. The maximum principle of Pontryagin in analysis of dynamic human knee joint was presented. The discrete Hamilton function of a knee joint is similar to a discrete square function of normalized power developed by muscles at the knee joint. The results satisfy optimal conditions and could be applied in control of exoskeleton and DAR type robot.

In this paper the Berstein-Kieropian double estimators of basic natural frequency of circular plate with power variable thickness along the radius and clamped edges in diaphragm form were analyzed in a theoretical approach. The approximate solution of boundary problem of transversal vibration by means of Cauchy function and characteristic series method has been applied for chosen values of power indicator of variable thickness and material Poisson’s ratio has been chosen which led to exact form solutions. Particular attention has been given to a singularity arising from the uncertainty of estimates of Bernstein-Kieropian. Improving this method has been obtained the general form of Cauchy function for arbitrary values of and , which are physically justified. Therefore, the aim of the paper was to explore the reason why for a plate above a certain value = 3.97 exact solution, which Conway couldn’t receive (Conway, 1958a, b)

In the paper, theoretical knowledge about base solution of common differential equations with variable parameters is presented. The solutions are applied to mechanical problems of discrete, distributed and discrete-distributed homogeneous elastic models of structures and structural components. In this paper, the influence function and its properties are presented. The influence function is applied to analysis of the bending curve of a beam with constants and variable parameters. The presented method of the influence function is based on the mathematical similarity of differential equations describing free vibrations and deflection of beams, which are fourth-order equations with variable coefficients. In this paper, examples of calculation of support reactions as function of stiffness of the beam and elastic supports are presented.

In the paper the influence function and the method of partial discretization in free axisymmetric vibration analysis of multilayered circular plates of constant and linearly variable thickness were presented. The effects of shear deformation and rotary inertia for the core as well as the facings were neglected. An analytical investigation based on the classical plate theory was made for the multilayered plate which satisfies Sokołowski’s condition. Discretization of mass and replacing stiffness of a fixed circular plate were presented. Formulas of influence matrix and Bernstein-Kieropian’s estimators for different steps of discretization were defined. The influence of variable distribution of parameters on the value of double estimators of natural basic and higher frequency of a sandwich circular plate was investigated.
