Considering the work of Panigrahi (2015) and Panigrahi and Chatterjee (2016), in this paper we study some properties of variable generalized Chaplygin gas (VGCG) model, exotic matter used in some cosmological theories whose equation of state is (..) where (..). We obtain an analytical expression for Joule-Thomson coefficient and we have deduced the inversion temperature for variable and variable generalized Chaplygin gas. We investigate the thermodynamical behavior for VGCG model in different process.

This paper presents the complete analysis of Linear Induction Motor (LIM) under VVVF. The complete variation of LIM air gap flux under ‘blocked Linor’ condition and starting force is analyzed and presented when LIM is given VVVF supply. The analysis of this data is important in further understanding of the equivalent circuit parameters of LIM and to study the magnetic circuit of LIM. The variation of these parameters is important to know the LIM response at different frequencies. The simulation and application of different control strategies such as vector control thus becomes quite easy to apply and understand motor’s response under such strategy of control.

In many cases, a X̅ control chart based on a performance variable is used in industrial fields. Typically, the control chart monitors the measurements of a performance variable itself. However, if the performance variable is too costly or impossible to measure, and a less expensive surrogate variable is available, the process may be more efficiently controlled using surrogate variables. In this paper, we present a model for the economic statistical design of a VSI (Variable Sampling Interval) X̅ control chart using a surrogate variable that is linearly correlated with the performance variable. We derive the total average profit model from an economic viewpoint and apply the model to a Very High Temperature Reactor (VHTR) nuclear fuel measurement system and derive the optimal result using genetic algorithms. Compared with the control chart based on a performance variable, the proposed model gives a larger expected net income per unit of time in the long-run if the correlation between the performance variable and the surrogate variable is relatively high. The proposed model was confined to the sample mean control chart under the assumption that a single assignable cause occurs according to the Poisson process. However, the model may also be extended to other types of control charts using a single or multiple assignable cause assumptions such as VSS (Variable Sample Size) X̅ control chart, EWMA, CUSUM charts and so on.

Given a probability measure space (Ω, A, P), random variable in classical definition is a mapping from Ω to R. Multivalued random variable is a mapping from Ω to all subset of X. For a real separable Banach space X with dual space X*, let LP (Ω, A), for 1 ≤ p ≤ ∞, denote the X - valued LP - space. In this paper we present the integral for multifunction and some property of multivalued random variables in multivariate case. The theory of multivalued random variables has been established for Banach space-valued and for Bochner-integrable function. The main purpose of this paper is to present a theory of multivalued random variables as a generalisation of pointvalued cases.
Mając przestrzeń probabilistyczną (Ω, A, P), zmienna losowa jest odwzorowaniem z Ω w R. Wielowymiarowa zmienna losowa jest odwzorowaniem z Ω w zbiór wszystkich podzbiorów X. Dla rzeczywistej separowalnej przestrzeni Banacha X z dualną przestrzenią X*, niech LP (Ω, A), dla 1 ≤ p ≤ ∞, oznacza X - wartościową przestrzeń LP. Artykuł zawiera własności całki wielowartościowych odwzorowań w ujęciu wielowymiarowym. Definiujemy warunkowe średnie wraz z własnościami o zbieżności. Podstawowym celem jest ujęcie teorii wielowartościowych zmiennych losowych jako uogólnienia klasycznej teorii.

Opis:
In this paper a sample rate conversion algorithm which allows for continuously changing resampling ratio has been presented. The proposed implementation is based on a variable fractional delay filter which is implemented by means of a Farrow structure. Coefficients of this structure are computed on the basis of fractional delay filters which are designed using the offset window method. The proposed approach allows us to freely change the instantaneous resampling ratio during processing. Using such an algorithm we can simulate recording of audio on magnetic tape with nonuniform velocity as well as remove such distortions. We have demonstrated capabilities of the proposed approach based on the example of speech signal processing with a resampling ratio which was computed on the basis of estimated fundamental frequency of voiced speech segments.

Different variations of one simple Model-Reference Variable-Structure Control (MRVSC) method are presented and used for planar robot control. The quality of trajectory tracking was tested by simulation with respect to robot parameter changes, different complex sinusoidal external disturbances and measurement noise. The results proved satisfactory robustness of all presented modified MRVSC methods.

One of the most important problems of exploitational use of marine gas turbine engine is knowledge about direction of changes realised unsteady processes. Individual dynamical features of each exploitated engine are determined on the way of costly experimental searches. These searches are qualifled by numerous constructional and exploitational confinements. In real exploitational conditions marine gasturbine engine works at different rotation speeds determined by the required parameters of ship's movement. Conversion from one rotation speed to another is related to realization of unsteady energetic processes, determined by the gasodynamic mutual influence of compressor configurations. The values of working medium flow thermodynamic parameters undergo significant changes in time. To work out the qualitative and quantitative estimation of these changes it is necessary to define the dynamic equations, describing working medium flow through the gas passage of engine. In the next step it is necessary to resohe the defined equations for disturbances of steady cooperation of compressor configurations. This paper concerns the application of mathematical modelling methods to analyzing gas-dynamic processes in marine gas turbines. The influence of geometry changes in axial compressor flow passage on kinematical air flow characteristics is presented. The elaborated mathematical model will make it possible to realize - in the future -simulative investigations of gas-dynamic processes taking place in a compressor fitted with controllable guide vanes.

The paper deals with the problem of the transformation of long gravitational waves propagating in water of variable depth. The main attention of the paper is focused on the derivation of equations describing this phenomenon. These equations are derived under the assumption that the non-viscous fluid is incompressible and rotation free, and that the fluid velocity components may be expressed in the form of the power series expansions with respect to the water depth. This procedure makes it possible to transform the original two-dimensional problem into a one-dimensional one, in which all unknown variables depend on time and a horizontal coordinate. The partial differential equations derived correspond to the conservation of mass and momentum. The solution of these equations is constructed by the finite difference method and an approximate discrete integration in the time domain. In order to estimate the accuracy of this formulation, theoretical results obtained for a specific problem were compared with experimental measurements carried out in a laboratory flume. The comparison shows that the proposed theoretical formulation is an accurate description of long waves propagating in water of variable depth.

In reliability, quality control and risk analysis, fuzzy methodologies are more and more involved and inevitably introduced difficulties in seeking fuzzy functional relationship between factors. In this paper, we propose a scalar variable formation of fuzzy regression model based on the credibility measure theoretical foundation. It is expecting our scalar variable treatments on fuzzy regression models will greatly simplify the efforts to seeking fuzzy functional relationship between fuzzy factors. An M-estimator for the regression coefficients is obtained and accordingly the properties and the variance-covariance for the coefficient M-estimators are also investigated in terms of weighted least-squares arguments. Finally, we explore the asymptotic membership function for the coefficient M-estimators.

Opis:
Poisson processes, particularly the time-dependent extension, play important roles in reliability and risk analysis. It should be fully aware that the Poisson modeling in the current reliability engineering and risk analysis literature is merely an ideology under which the random uncertainty governs the phenomena. In other words, current Poisson Models generate meaningful results if randomness assumptions hold. However, the real world phenomena are often facing the co-existence reality and thus the probabilistic Poisson modeling practices may be very doubtful. In this paper, we define the random fuzzy Poisson process, explore the related average chance distributions, and propose a scheme for the parameter estimation and a simulation scheme as well. It is expecting that a foundational work can be established for Poisson random fuzzy reliability and risk analysis.
